Warframe getter rifle. Warframe Weapon Review
Hello everyone. I won’t write much of a preface on my own; this guide is for those who have just started playing Warframe. So let's begin.
The game begins with a short tutorial, after which you will be asked to choose one of three characters, Warframes, with which you will start playing.
Who you choose at first does not play a big role, each Warframe is unique in its own way and the initial three are no worse than the rest. The Warframe's skills determine the style of play for him; choose what is closer to you.
During the game you can always get any other Warframe. At the moment there are 12 of them.
After the tutorial, you are taken to the main game menu. Where your character will meditate over the planets of the solar system.
Each planet is a set of missions. Initially, only Mercury is available. All the others will have a lock hanging on them - you won’t be able to get there until you complete the mission that opens this planet.
When you hover the cursor over a planet in the top right, a pop-up window will appear with game information on the planet, as well as resources that will drop on missions of this planet.
The list of resources is listed in order of rarity. The last one, the third one, mainly drops from bosses.
Resources are needed for crafting.
Below is the game chat. From top, from left to right, it is shown: your game avatar and nickname, rank and progress in obtaining the next one, game currencies, mission settings, going to the arsenal, contacts, store, forge; Game settings and exit.
Now in more detail on each point.
Game avatar: shown in the game by clicking the “show players” button. You can change it by clicking on it. Additional avatars are sold in the store.
Game currencies: credits - you get on missions and for selling something, platinum - the currency you get for donating.
Mission Settings
Online: create or join an open game.
Private: create a private game that only your friends or clanmates can join.
Solo: single mission.
Contacts
Adding to friends, lists of friends, clans (they are only formal for now) are all in this section.
Rank
Rank: The rank/level of your account. For each Warframe level you gain, you will receive 200 rank points/experience, for each weapon level - 100. By increasing your rank, you gain access to new weapons. There are no weapons requiring more than rank 4 yet. To get the next rank, it is not enough to collect the required amount of experience, you also need to complete a test. The transition to the test task to the next rank will become possible when the experience bar begins to flash yellow. By clicking on it you will be taken to the corresponding test. You can take the test once a day; if you fail the test, you can take it again only the next day.
To complete the test for rank 0 and 1, you need to kill all enemies with your main weapon (for example, a Breyton machine gun). For subsequent ranks like this:
Rank 2: Kill all enemies over 3 waves.
Rank 3: Kill all enemies with melee weapons only.
Rank 4: Survive for a certain time.
Rank 5: hack consoles within a certain time.
Rank 6: shoot accurately, like in a shooting gallery, at the glowing balls.
Arsenal
All your game property is located here, as well as its management, configuration and pumping.
At the beginning you won't have anything there, so you can safely go play.
In the future, for leveling up your character, weapons, etc. you need to click on the “Configure artifact” button.
The rest is intuitive, there are also tooltips.
In the “Inventory” section there are lists of all your things, as well as the opportunity to sell some of them - Warframes, weapons, drawings.
It also shows how many available slots for weapons or Warframes you have. Slots and paint colors are currently the only thing that can be obtained only by donating. But you can also sell the Warframe/weapon, thereby freeing up a slot.
The space for drawings and resources is unlimited.
The “Mods” section contains all your cards and Cores, as well as the ability to upgrade or sell them.
Shop
Actually, everything is obvious here - read the corresponding descriptions. Everything that is sold for platinum (except flowers) can be obtained in the game either in finished form or in the form of a blueprint.
Forge
Here things are assembled according to drawings. You can collect: Weapons, Weapon Skins (from 12 to 24 hours), Warframes (consist of several parts, in total crafting lasts 84 hours), as well as the Orokin Catalyst and Reactor (24 hours). To assemble any item you need appropriate resources, as well as from 15,000 to 35,000 credits
I'll tell you more about crafting Warframes.
To assemble a Warframe you need 3 parts: Chassis, Helmet and Systems. As well as a drawing of a Warframe, which can be bought in the store.
All three parts of the Warframe are randomly dropped from bosses, except Banshee. Each boss has its own Warframe.

The drawing knocked out from the boss looks like this:
Very similar to an integration ball, only yellow.
Integration Ball adds 100 experience to everything, drops from loot boxes.
Above I mentioned the Orokin Catalyst and Reactor. These things allow you to double the energy of a weapon (requires a catalyst), guard (requires a reactor), warframe (requires a reactor). Energy is spent on mods (cards).
For each level, 1 unit of energy is added with a catalyst/reactor of 2 units. Roughly speaking, the more energy, the more cards you can install
The maximum level of Warframe, weapons, and guards is 30.
Alert System (Alarm Signal)
Or a random number generator in action throughout the entire solar system in the game. What you need to know is that if one or another game location is not open, that is, there is a lock hanging on it, then you will not see the Alert if it is coming.
Alert is a special complicated mission, the most important thing in it is the rewards, and they can be very interesting, because... blueprints drop for things that cannot be purchased with in-game credits, such as the Reactor and Orokin Catalyst. All this goodness can fall out if there is also a question mark next to the credit reward.
Drawings for Weapons and Helmets for Warframes and artifacts also drop out. I will dwell on the latter in more detail.
Artifacts
Artifacts provide a permanent bonus for the entire mission. Artifacts do not pump up and do not end. You can take one artifact per mission.
The most interesting ones at the moment are Rejuvenation - restores health for the entire team, one every two seconds, and Energy Source - restores energy for the entire team, also one every two seconds. Bonuses stack for identical artifacts. The rest are less useful but may be of interest to someone (bonuses apply to the entire team):
Enemy radar - shows enemies on the mini map within a radius of 25 meters with red circles, will also show the hostage in rescue missions.
Constitution – Increases maximum health by ~4.8%.
Rifle Booster – Increases the damage of assault rifles.
Shotgun Getter – increases the number of shotgun shells collected.
Pistol Getter – increases the number of collected pistol cartridges.
Sniper Getter – increases the number of collected cartridges for sniper rifles.
Steel Pressure – increases damage for melee attacks by 10%, but not for strong ones, i.e. with charging.
The gameplay itself does not pose any particular problems. But I will write down some things.
In missions, sometimes you need to climb up a vertical wall. To do this, you need to run up to the wall (the one you want will have white scuffs) with the Shift key held down and the spacebar pressed. Another option is to jump onto the wall while holding Shift and holding Spacebar. Running on a horizontal wall is similar, you just need to run up the wall at an angle.
Also, horizontal wall running is part of a combo attack.
In missions against the Corps, you will periodically encounter cameras. If the camera has not detected you, it lights up green; when it does, it will start beeping and light up red, and the turrets and laser beams in the passages will also turn on. All this will interfere with both you and your partners, so try to remember the places where the cameras hang (they are the same) and destroy them immediately.
Periodically, mods (cards and synthesis kernels) will drop from killed mobs; they look like this:
At first, this is the most valuable loot for you, so try to pick them all up. It is also a rule of good manners to mark your comrades. This can be done using the “g” key.
If someone has not assembled the mod, then in its place there will be a blue glow.
Thank you for your attention. You can read more detailed information.
This guide will be entirely devoted to weapons in Warframe, which are of interest to many gamers - from beginners to regulars of the project. In our review you will find out information related to upgrading weapons, their varieties and features in this game. You will also find out the answer to a seemingly rhetorical question - what is the best weapon in Warframe?
All weapons in Warframe are divided into several types and can be primary, secondary, or melee. Each individual item is characterized by a unique set of parameters that you can improve with the help of special modifications. Some types of weapons have an alternative cover, but at the same time it not only changes it visually, but also slightly adjusts the characteristics, raising some parameters and worsening others.
When you use any weapon in battle, you gain experience points. Once you reach a certain number, you will increase your rank. And so on up to the maximum 30! For each subsequent rank, the weapon gains a capacity point, where you install modules.
Best weapon for beginners:
There are a total of eight slots for placing modules. You don't have to pay anything to install or remove modifications - neither credits nor platinum. This can be done at any time, except during battles. The main thing is to have the right weapon, a free slot and modification. If you delete a mod, it will not disappear anywhere, but will go straight to your inventory. At the same time, the weapon will have a free capacity point.
Starting weapons in Warframe
All players who create a new character begin Warframe with a starting set of weapons:
- The main weapon is the MK1-Breyton rifle.
- Additional - pistol "Lato".
- Melee combat - Skan sword.
As you understand, you shouldn’t expect any incredible parameters and characteristics from this set of weapons. However, let's look at each item separately!
Rifle "MK1-Breyton"
Rifle "MK1-Breyton"
"MK1-Brayton"- This is the starting weapon in Warframe, occupying the main slot.
- A universal rifle that is useful in all situations.
- Weak rate of fire and lower damage compared to the regular Breyton rifle.
- The rifle should be used before you get to the Mercury mission.
- As soon as 15,000 credits appear, we recommend selling this weapon and buying something more powerful.
Pistol "Lato"
Starting pistol "Lato"
"Lato" is a pistol that is ideal for close to mid-range combat in the early stages of the game.
- He has good enough damage to start the game.
- Decent rate of fire.
- A small recoil that will allow you to make several headshots in a row.
- Of course, comparing this pistol with prime weapons or donation barrels is pointless.
Skana Sword
Starting Sword "Skan"
"Skana"— a starting weapon that occupies a melee slot.
- A bit like a katana.
- Quite a good option in the early stages of the game.
Clan weapons in Warframe
This is another type of weapon. To receive clan weapons, the first thing you need to do is join a clan. But then you will need to make a clan key, and after that create the necessary weapons in the forge. At the same time, you will have to find a powerful clan that will also agree to accept you under its banner.
The fact is that to get a forge you will have to build an Oracle, various accessories for it, and also create several laboratories at once. The latter are used to enable the study of new types of weapons. Only after you have done your research will you be able to purchase clan weapons in Warframe.
More details about the laboratories:
- In the biological laboratory you can study the mutagenic mass, which is necessary for the production of toxins for weapons. You can create "Torid" or "Akrid". The first shoots toxic charges, and the second shoots acid needles.
- The chemical laboratory is studying the detonite injector, which is used as the main element in the creation of fire weapons. You can learn Ignis and Ogris, which use Fire Stream and Detonite Projectiles respectively.
- In the energy laboratory you can study the "Fieldron" (a unique container necessary for storing hot liquids), as well as the weapons "Prova", "Supra", "Dera", "Lanka" and "Stream Rifle". "Prova" is a melee weapon with energy damage, "Supra" - laser weapons, "Dera" - a plasma rifle, and "Lanka" - a high-speed machine gun.
So what are the best weapons in Warframe?
It is impossible to answer this question unequivocally, and that is why we called it “rhetorical.” You will not be able to find a universal weapon in the game that will be appropriate and most effective in any situation. Of course, each class and type of weapon contains more powerful or weaker options.
But you don’t need to think narrowly and look only at damage, since there are other, equally important parameters, such as recoil, rate of fire, shooting accuracy and clip size. Therefore, damage alone does not solve anything! In order for you to be able to destroy your enemies as efficiently as possible, you will have to find a weapon with the optimal combination of parameters.
Therefore, before choosing any weapon, you must understand why you need it. Melee firearms in Warframe should allow you to fire as many shots per minute as possible while still having low recoil, while the same sniper rifles can sacrifice recoil but have high accuracy.
Whatever weapon you choose, you can find advantages and disadvantages in any situation. For example, the Magnus revolver is quite powerful and is suitable for all factions. With its help you can kill both infected and ordinary soldiers. In addition, you can add a very impressive appearance, but it also has its drawbacks - huge recoil and a low clip capacity (8 rounds).
Thus, if you want to find the best weapons in Warframe, then you should focus on the top ones, i.e. strive to purchase the most expensive one. You can consider a set of weapons from “Twin Gremlins”, “Doe” and “Mithras”. Just look at the accuracy of the Mithra, which literally allows you to shoot with your eyes closed, and at the same time the weapon has a fairly high power. Getting such weapons is not so easy, but the effort and investment are worth it. You will have to either complete difficult quests or purchase weapons for donations.
- The Mithra melee weapon is used to shoot circular blades and allows you to literally cut opponents into pieces. Requires 220 platinum to purchase. It's a lot, but it's worth it!
- The Doe is a medium-range rifle with high damage that is useful for assault operations. It looks no worse than the Mitra, but will cost you a little more - 225 platinum. For 40,000 credits you can buy a blueprint for the Doe rifle.
- “Twin Gremlins” are two pistols occupying one slot, although characterized by a low rate of fire, but capable of delivering huge damage with maximum accuracy. Cost 190 platinum.
Analysis of available weapons in Warframe
Below we will not consider prime guns and clan weapons, since to obtain them you need to be an experienced fighter, have a high-level clan, or have a good donation. In general, this weapon is, so to speak, for the elite, but with due diligence, sooner or later you will become one. By then you won't need any guides!
Unlike many shooters and action games that use guns, Warframe does not have any kind of leveling system. For example, it is absolutely not necessary to exchange the Scan sword for a new melee weapon when moving to the third or fourth level. The effectiveness of the weapon used will depend not on the level, but on other parameters and features. Regardless of what level and class your character is, you will deal the same damage with this weapon.
Melee weapons in Warframe are important at the beginning of the game, when you are fighting against low-level mobs, since almost all of them have minimal armor. At the same time, literally two or three bots of level 60 or higher will destroy Vauban or Nova while they cover the required distance. Most weapons of this type ignore any armor and can stun opponents. With its help, it is often possible to knock down an enemy if you perform jumping strikes.
There is no connection between this weapon and frames (impact time, etc.), but at the same time you must understand that when swinging a hammer, having good shields, you can destroy any enemy, while using an ordinary dagger to chop a mob with 1000 HP is very problematic.
In addition to the usual melee weapons, it is worth highlighting specific options, such as plasma swords, zorens and boomerangs. Although they cost a lot of money, most gamers consider them practically useless. In classic builds, Kronus is assembled immediately after passing Mercury. When you kill a Thief for the first time, the chance of dropping a Kronus is 100%.
Among other swords, you can consider crafting “Fanga”, “Glaive”, dark dagger and “Furax”.
Concerning pistols, then they are also not tied to frames, but are selected depending on the chosen play style. It's rare to get "Prophet" out of a Thief. But this pistol, like the Kraken and Lex, are used for leisurely shooting of mobs. The Bronco will be effective at a distance of no more than 10 meters, while the Viper and Bolto will use up their ammunition in almost a matter of seconds.
If you are a beginner, then don’t even think about crafting or buying “Prophet”, “Viper” and “Bronco”, since they require very specific leveling. I also suggest ignoring “Furis” and “Sicairus” in any situation.
Sniper rifles should be used by professional gamers, since they have little ammunition, and cartridges do not drop out that often. In addition, a lot of time is spent on leveling up and knocking out the necessary modifications.
Bows no less demanding than sniper rifles - it requires experience in the game, the presence of special modifications, and the search for ammunition, which is quite rare.
From shotguns at the beginning of the game you will be able to use “Boar” and “Stran”. Both specimens perform well in short-range firefights, but lose effectiveness after 30-40 meters. If you want to shoot into the distance, then select “Heck”, but it will require the fourth rank.
Shotguns require unique modifications, but most of them are compatible with rifles.
Slot machines- another type of weapon for which you will need ammunition. Don't forget the problems with recoil, spread during prolonged shooting, poor accuracy and mediocre damage relative to one shot (bullet). If you are a beginner, then you should not buy Barston or Grakata. In this case, acquiring Latron would be a smart move.
One of the popular weapons is the Brayton rifle (an improved version of the starting weapon).
Summarize:
- The Grakata assault rifle, snipers, shotguns, bows and machine guns are suitable for survivable frames.
- Unsuccessful builds would be a sniper rifle or bow with Lex, Prophet or Kraken, as well as Grakata or Brayton with Furax or Viper.
This guide contains information about the best Warframe weapons. This topic is of interest to many gamers - from those who have just started playing to those who are long-time regulars of the project. From our review you can learn a lot of interesting and useful information regarding such topics as pumping up weapons, their varieties and features. The best Warframe weapons - what can you say about them?
General information
All weapons in Warframe can be divided into 3 types: main type, additional and melee. Each individual item has its own characteristics, which are improved through the installation of special modifications. Some types of weapons have alternative covers - with their help you can change not only the visual part, but also some parameters, choosing individual options for improvement or deterioration.
When using any weapon, experience points are automatically earned. If you stock up on a certain number of points, you can increase your rank. The maximum level is 30. New ranks each time add one point to the weapon's capacity, where modules are then placed. The total number of such slots reaches 8. The good news is that modifications are installed and removed completely free of charge. Deleted mods do not disappear, but take up empty space in your inventory.
Weapon at the start: MK1-Brayton rifle
The MK1-Brayton rifle is given at the very start. A staple in any battle, this versatile firearm could be Warframe's best primary weapon. It has a rather weak rate of fire and, unlike the regular Brayton rifle, weaker damage. You can safely use it before the mission on Mercury.
Starting Weapon: Lato
This pistol is also issued at the very beginning of the game and is placed in an additional slot. In combat it is used at close and medium distances. As a starting weapon, Lato has good damage and a decent rate of fire. Thanks to the pistol's low recoil, players can make several headshots in a row.
Don't forget that there are much more powerful guns in the game, which Lato, of course, cannot compare with. However, to start the game in its category, this pistol is considered the best weapon in Warframe.
Starting weapon: Skan's sword
The last weapon belonging to the starting group. It resembles a katana in appearance. At the very beginning of the game, Skan's sword is almost the best
Weapons of the clans
Access to the next type of weapon is only available if the player joins a clan. However, this is far from the only condition for creating such weapons. After joining a clan, the player will have to start making a special clan key. Only when the key is ready can you go to the forge, where the necessary weapons are created.
It is also worth noting that powerful weapons are located in powerful clans, which do not accept everyone into their ranks. Such clans either must already have a forge, or they will have to build one. To do this, you will have to create an Oracle room, add many different accessories there and, in addition to this, acquire several laboratories. As you can see, obtaining clan weapons is quite a costly endeavor.
As for laboratories, they are necessary for conducting research and experiments on new weapons.
- In biological laboratories, mutagenic mass is studied, which is used to produce special toxins for weapons. This is where the player can start creating Torid, who fires toxic blasts, or Akrid, who shoots acid needles.
- In laboratories with a chemical bias, research is carried out on the detonite injector, which is the main element of fire weapons. Players can explore Ignis with his fire blasts and Ogris with his detonite shells.
- In laboratories with an energy focus, they study Fieldrons (special containers for hot liquids), Prova (close-range weapons that shoot with a stream of energy), Supra (laser gun), Derra (high-temperature plasma rifle) and Lanka (magnetic induction machine gun).
The fact is that this question does not have a clear answer. There simply is no universal weapon suitable for absolutely any situation in the game. In any weapon you can find something strong and something weak.
When looking for the best weapons in Warframe, don't rely on damage alone. Any weapon has other useful characteristics, for example, recoil force, rate of fire, clip capacity, and shot accuracy. The secret of powerful weapons lies in more than just damage! The best Warframe weapon for the most effective execution of enemies will be the weapon that optimally combines all of the above parameters.
The choice of weapons should match the individual playing style of a particular player. Melee guns may have low recoil and a maximum number of shots per minute, while sniper rifles may have high recoil and high accuracy.
Regardless of the choice made, any type of weapon can have several main advantages and disadvantages. For those who do not want to assess the situation and develop tactics, there are special top-end weapons that can be found in the store at the highest prices.

Weapons in Warframe
This Warframe guide is dedicated to weapons. The game is amazing in every sense, so it's no surprise that the characters' weapons are of particular interest to players. The review contains everything about leveling up and the features of weapons, and also answers the main question - which weapon is the best in Warframe.
So let's start with the basics. There are three types of weapons in the game - basic, secondary And melee weapon. Each weapon has its own unique characteristics that can be improved using mods. Also, for some types of weapons there is an alternative skin that not only changes its appearance, but also improves one characteristic and worsens another.
For using a weapon in battle you gain experience. With enough experience, the rank increases up to a maximum of rank 30. Each rank adds one capacity point, which is used to install mods.
The weapon has 8 slots for installing mods. Installing and removing modifications does not require credits or platinum and is available at any time, except in battle. After removal, the mod goes back into the inventory, and the weapon loses the improvement that the mod gives, freeing up a capacity point.
Starting weapon
A new player starts the game with the MK1-Breyton rifle, Lato pistol and Skan sword. The weapon is basic, so you shouldn’t expect any special characteristics from it.
This is the starting rifle for Warframe.
This is a versatile down that can be used in any situation.
It has a lower rate of fire and low damage compared to the regular Brayton.
Not a bad weapon until the mission on Mercury.
But as soon as you earn 15 thousand credits, it is advisable to sell the MK1-Brayton and buy a more powerful weapon.
Lato- a pistol excellent for close and medium ranges.
Lato has good initial damage and a good rate of fire.
It has a small recoil that will help give the enemy a headshot, which is perhaps its best characteristic.
Although, of course, there is nothing to compare it with prime-barrels and any donated pistol. Different weight categories.
But here, as they say, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
Starting melee weapon.
Something resembling a katana (Japanese samurai sword).
The weapon is cold, although it can easily be called hot, especially when connected to colorful animation in the form of lightning.
Skana's power is enough to send enemies staggering.
You should not play with Skana in vain - this can lead to dire consequences.
Clan weapons
There are also so-called clan weapons in this exciting game. To get it, you first need to join a clan. Next you will need to do clan key. And then create clan weapons in the forge. But first, the clan itself must acquire a biological laboratory, a chemical laboratory and an energy laboratory, as well as build an Oracle and all sorts of gadgets for it.
Labs in Warframe are needed so that you can research different types of new weapons. Only after doing your research will you be able to purchase it.
Biological laboratory- in it you can research the Mutagenic Mass, which produces combat toxins for weapons, Torid, which shoots toxin charges, and Akrid, which shoots needles filled with acid.
Chemical laboratory- in it you can research the Detonite injector (the basis for incendiary weapons), Ignis, which releases a stream of incinerating fire, and Ogris, which shoots projectiles with a detonite shell.
Energy laboratory - in it you are invited to explore the Fildron (a container for storing extremely hot substances), the Prova (a melee weapon that deals intense electrical damage to the target), the Supra (a heavy laser weapon with rapid heating), the Deru (a rifle that shoots high-temperature plasma), Lanka (uses magnetic induction to fire high-speed projectiles) and the Stream Rifle (the developers did not write anything about it, apparently to arouse curiosity among players).
Best weapons in Warframe
So, what are the best weapons in Warframe? I will say right away that there is no absolutely universal weapon, which means it would be wrong to call any one the best. Although, of course, in every class or type of weapon there are more powerful and weaker models. But besides damage, there are other indicators - recoil, accuracy, rate of fire, clip capacity. So power alone does not give anything - to effectively destroy enemies you need an optimal combination of all characteristics.
So to answer the question, what weapon to choose in Warframe, you need to understand for what purposes you are going to use it. Melee weapons should be fast-firing and have low recoil. For long-range combat, a much more important parameter is accuracy, which, in turn, is affected by recoil.
In fact, no matter what weapon you take, you can find both its pros and cons. For example, the Magnus revolver is very powerful, suitable for any faction, it can kill both infected and members of the corps. It looks quite nice, but it also has disadvantages: strong recoil and a small clip - only 8 rounds.
In general, I think that in search of the most powerful weapon in Warframe, it would be most logical to turn to the top weapon or, more simply put, the most expensive one. For example, Paired Gremlins, Hind or Mithra, which look, to put it mildly, VERY chic and have equally chic technical characteristics. Just look at the accuracy of Mitra, whose projectiles seem to fly to the target themselves, and this with considerable power indicators. Of course, not everyone can get such a weapon, because it can only be obtained by donating, or by completing a chain of difficult quests.
Miter- shoots circular blades, cutting into pieces everyone who gets in their way. It costs a fabulous 220 platinum, but believe me, it's worth it.
Doe- a powerful medium-range rifle for assault operations. Looks no less chic than Mithra. Costs 225 platinum. You can also purchase Lani's drawing for 40 thousand credits.
Paired gremlins- these are pistols, they have a low rate of fire, which is compensated by high damage and accuracy. Cost 190 platinum.
The Stalker gun is also of great interest. I wrote a separate article about how to get a Stalker’s weapon, who a Stalker is, how to summon and kill him.
