Then put on a fairy tale about the sea. The Tale of the Little Lonely Fish and the Huge Blue Sea: A Tale
Why does the crab have no head?
(African folk tale).
Goddess Nzambi created all animals. She started creating the Crab just before bedtime and didn't have enough time to finish it. “Come tomorrow, I will give you the head,” she said. “It takes Nzambi two days to make me, because I am a very important person,” the Crab boasted to the other animals.
Nzambi heard about the crab's boasting and decided not to give him his head.
The crab hid under a rock in shame. To this day, he pokes his eyes right out from under the sink, since he still has no head.
Tiddalik causes a flood.
(Australian folk tale).
Tiddalik was the largest frog in the world. One day he drank water from all the ponds, lakes and rivers of the world. All that was left was the water in the seas. But the animals could not drink salt water, so they had to die of thirst. Luckily, Eel had an idea. He began a funny dance which made Tiddalik laugh. When his mouth opened, water flowed into ponds, lakes and rivers, and the animals were saved.
Magic fish.
(Scandinavian folk tale).
One day a poor fisherman caught a magic fish. “Let me go, and I will do everything you wish,” said the fish. The fisherman wanted a big house, and his wish came true.
He caught the magic fish again and again and made more and more wishes. And his every wish came true. But when the fisherman demanded the moon and stars, the fish decided that he was too greedy and took all his gifts. And the fisherman became poor again.
Why is the water salty?
(Norwegian folk tale).
One day a sailor stole a magic mill that could grind whatever you wanted. He took her to sea on his ship and demanded that the mill grind salt for him. When there was enough salt, he ordered the mill to stop, but did not know the magic words. Soon there was so much salt that the ship and the mill sank to the bottom of the sea, and the mill continued to grind salt. She continues to grind it to this day, which is why the sea is salty.
How the starfish was born.
(Based on a story by Donald Bisset).
One day, on a dark, starry night, seven elephants decided to catch a falling star. They went to the top of the sea cliff and, climbing one on top of the other, formed a tower. The baby elephant, who was at the very top, reached out and took out the shooting star with his trunk. But he couldn’t hold her and dropped her into the sea! A passing fish swallowed it and turned into a starfish.
At the bottom of a huge ocean lived a large emerald turtle. She was so old that she didn’t even remember how old she was. The Turtle wore a crown of precious stones on her head and considered herself a queen. Who knows, maybe she was actually born into a royal family and was the heir to the royal throne. One way or another, now no one knew who ruled the kingdom at the bottom of the ocean before her. After all, there was no one older than the emerald Turtle for many miles around in the ocean.
All the Turtle's children had long since moved to live in other seas and oceans, and only the young Turtle, still a baby, lived next to her in her royal house. And this house was truly magnificent. Everything around was shining and sparkling. Decorations made from colored corals and ocean algae, mother-of-pearl shells and pearl necklaces were hung throughout the palace. The queen slept on a bed of the softest seaweed, and even the sand on the bottom of the ocean here was not simple, but collected from the smallest grains of sand.
The old Turtle slept almost all the time. But the palace was not empty. Hundreds of royal servants were ready to carry out any of her instructions. Hordes of sea spiders and crabs, armed with hard, impenetrable shells, protected the royal palace from all sides. Giant octopuses stood guard at the gates of the palace and were ready to repel any enemy attack. And in the palace itself there were many servants. Multi-colored cuttlefish instantly adjusted to the mood of their mistress. Changing color like real chameleons, they were ready to carry out any order of Her Majesty the Queen. The squids helped them, because with their strong tentacles they could do anything. A dance group of small king prawns staged performances to the music of the long-whiskered prawns, and their musical instruments were beautiful mother-of-pearl shells.
In the evenings, the queen herself put the little Turtle to bed and read him fairy tales. But the Turtle had already heard all his grandmother’s fairy tales, he wanted to learn something new. And then the old Turtle ordered the largest giant Octopus to catch someone in the ocean and bring him to her kingdom. So the queen hoped to get new fairy tales, which, of course, the ocean inhabitants know and tell to their children.
– People consider dolphins to be the smartest. These sea animals probably keep in their memory many fabulous stories about the ocean,” said the Turtle and sent the octopus on a hunt.
Soon the octopus brought the Dolphin and put him in a cage.
– Do you know ancient ocean legends and epics? Has anyone told you about them? - asked the Turtle. – If you remember five such stories and tell me, I will let you go.
Poor Dolphin did not know five stories; he only remembered three tales about the ocean. But the Turtle got angry and didn’t want to let him go. The octopus, knowing that the Dolphin could not remain at the bottom of the ocean for a long time without air, that he could die, told the queen about this.
“Let him think and remember two more stories, then you will let him go,” the old Turtle yawned and went to bed.
Baby Turtle heard all this and, as soon as Grandma Turtle fell asleep, he said to the octopus:
- Let go of Dolphin. I don't want him to die. I will come up with two stories myself and tell them to the queen.
This is how little Turtle saved the dolphin from death. In parting, he said to the dolphin:
– Please forgive my grandmother for her evil deed. Live long, long life. I love you. Goodbye!
- Thank you, my young friend! - Dolphin answered. - I owe you. If you need help, call me and I will come.
And he swam away.
From then on, Turtle no longer listened to grandma's stories before bed. The baby grew up and became independent. Often he swam away from Grandma Turtle's underwater kingdom to get to know the big ocean house better. One day, after a tiring swim, the Turtle was very cold and fell ill. The whole kingdom treated him with herbal infusions, but the Turtle could not get better. Then the Octopus said:
“I know where your friend Dolphin lives, and I’ll swim to him for advice.” Maybe he will help you get better.
The octopus found the Dolphin, and he, having learned about the Turtle's misfortune, brought him his family's best medicine. The dolphin's grandmother treated him with this medicine when he was little.
Soon the Turtle recovered. And now not only he, but also Queen Turtle was very grateful to Dolphin and his family for their help. She apologized to the dolphin for a long time for her evil and thoughtless act.
This is how seemingly completely different families - the Turtle and Dolphin queens - were able to become friends. This happens often in life. We find new, very kind and loyal friends where we don’t expect to find them at all.
Focus: Difficulties in communicating with peers. Feelings of inferiority. Loneliness. Uncertainty. Feeling like a “black sheep”.
Key phrase: “I’m not like everyone else. No one is friends with me!”
In the distant Blue-blue country, behind the blue-blue mountains lay the blue-blue Sea. It was the most beautiful sea in the world. Everyone who saw it thought that they were in a fairy tale - it was so captivating with its extraordinary deep blue color. Even the most evil and heartless person began to have something pounding in his chest and tears welled up in his eyes when he looked into the clear blue waters of the Sea. People left the sea with an unusually light heart, in a good mood, and most importantly, with the desire to do something kind and useful to someone. Therefore, the inhabitants of the Blue-Blue Country were very proud and loved their wonderful Sea.
The sea was not only very beautiful, but also very hospitable. Millions of creatures lived in it, very, very different and extraordinary. There were fancy starfish lying thoughtfully on the branches of coral, and funny seahorses, and busy crabs, always busy with some serious thoughts of their own, and funny sea urchins, and many, many other inhabitants of the depths. They all felt very good in this blue sea, because it was their home.
But most of all, the fish loved the sea, of which there were a great many. No one but them knew the sea so well. The fish spent whole days rushing across the endless expanses of the sea, admiring the beauty of the bottom and discovering more and more interesting places. Only at night did they calm down and fall asleep: some buried themselves in fine clean sand, some swam into cold sea caves, some hid in colored algae or corals. And the sea life seemed to freeze... But as soon as the first rays of the sun broke through the water, everything came to life again and seemed so happy and carefree...
But there lived in this sea one little Fish who did not feel so happy. She considered herself the most inconspicuous and ugly among the fish. She had neither an iridescent tail, nor delicate fins, even her scales, unlike the scales of her colorful friends, were the usual gray color.
This little fish suffered greatly from loneliness, because no one was friends with her, she was never invited to play and they talked to her very little. In general, everyone always behaved as if she simply did not exist. And she so wanted to join a gaggle of cheerful girlfriends, play hide and seek with them, swim in a race, or simply travel along the seabed... But she was never invited. Her friends simply did not notice her. And because of her shyness, she was afraid to come up and speak herself. It seemed to her that since she was so ugly, they would definitely drive her away. Can you imagine how lonely and difficult it was for the little, little Fish in such a huge, huge sea?
And then one day she felt so sad and melancholy that she suddenly stopped distinguishing colors. She stopped seeing the beauty that surrounded her. Nothing made her happy, nothing interested her. This magnificent blue-blue Sea began to seem to her like an ordinary large gray puddle in which the same gray and pale schools of fish live and swim. And the last thing in the world she wanted to talk to them...:
And this Fish decided to swim away to where she would not see anything else. She swam for a very long time and saw a cave. Having dived inside, Rybka found herself in complete darkness, but for some reason this did not make her feel better at all and she began to cry out of despair.
Suddenly she heard someone's gentle voice.
- Why are you crying? he asked.
“Because I’m lonely,” answered Rybka.
- Why are you lonely?
- Because no one wants to play with me, and also because I can’t look at such a gray, ugly Sea. It's better not to see him at all.
- Gray ugly Sea? - asked the voice. - What sea are you talking about? There are no ugly seas, and our Sea is generally the most beautiful in the world. At least that's what I think.
Then our Fish suddenly thought that in recent times this was the first creature that willingly talked to her. She immediately stopped crying.
- Why are you sitting in this cave then? - asked Rybka.
“Because sometimes you just want to be alone.” But there's no way I'm staying here forever. Life is too interesting and beautiful to hide from it. Did you say that no one plays with you? Why? - asked the voice.
“Because I’m gray and ugly and no one notices me,” answered Rybka.
- But this is not true. In fact, you are simply charming and very interesting to be with!
- How do you know? - Rybka was surprised.
“I don’t know, but that’s exactly how you seem to me.” Let's be friends with you? - a voice suddenly asked.
The fish was taken aback by surprise - no one had ever said such words to her.
- Come on... Who are you? she asked.
“I’m a little fish just like you.”
- And are you happy?
“Yes, very much,” answered the little fish. “Let’s swim out of the cave.”
“Come on,” Rybka agreed.
When they swam out of the cave, they finally saw each other.
Our fish’s new acquaintance turned out to be a gray catfish, but for some reason he seemed very cute to her. It would never have occurred to her to call him ordinary and uninteresting. She looked at him curiously.
- Why did you say you were ugly? — Somik, in turn, was surprised. “Look!”
He swam to some glass piece at the bottom. Our fish looked there and... couldn’t believe her eyes. From there, a wonderful, very graceful fish with extraordinary silvery scales looked at her.
“Really... is it really me?” - Rybka couldn’t believe it.
- Of course you are. You just didn’t notice it before, you didn’t want to notice. Nature does not create anything gray and ugly. The main thing is to want to see this beauty and then you will definitely see it,” answered Somik.
Our Fish smiled happily, looked back and... froze: The sea suddenly flashed again with all the colors of the rainbow. It shone and shimmered. Rybka had never seen him so beautiful before.
- Thank you, thank you, Somik! — she exclaimed. “Listen, let’s go for a walk?!” I can show you a lot of interesting things that you definitely haven’t seen yet!
- Of course, let's go! — Somik happily agreed. And they swam away from the dark cave. And there were no happier creatures in the whole huge blue Sea than these two little fish.
QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION
What did little Fish suffer from? Do you understand her? Tell me how she felt?
Why didn’t Rybka see her beauty and the beauty of the world around her?
Why did the Fish say “thank you” to the catfish? How did the catfish help her?
SHARK
Here's a doodle shark
She opened her evil mouth.
You to the doodle shark
Would you like to come?
Right in the mouth.
(K. Chukovsky)
Sharks are powerful predators and are often called “sea wolves.” The body of sharks is ideally suited for fast swimming. When creating high-speed torpedoes and submarines, shipbuilders strive to give them the outline of a shark.
The shark got sick
Several teeth at once.
Help her quickly
Call the doctors!
(N. Migunova)
Sharks have a lot of sharp teeth. They grow in several rows, are triangular in shape, curved back and jagged at the edges. Their sharpness can be compared to a surgical scalpel. Sharks have no scales, and their skin is so tough that residents of tropical countries use shark skin as a grater or sandpaper.
Many people are sure that sharks are very brave animals, so they fearlessly rush at their prey. In fact, sharks are cowardly and attack only when they are convinced that the victim is defenseless. But, sensing the smell of blood, the shark forgets about the danger. Sharks have such a keen sense of smell that they can smell blood from several kilometers away. The shark feeds on fish, but also attacks dolphins, seals, turtles, other sharks and even whales. Don’t look at what the shark has
Cheekbones are invisible from the side,
There are three rows of teeth in the mouth -
Will eat anyone without difficulty.
(Yu. Parfenov)
A hungry shark can attack anything it sees nearby. Various garbage was often found in the stomachs of caught sharks: cans, rags, wreckage of boats, and once even a depth charge was found.
Many sharks are dangerous to humans. These are white and tiger sharks, mocha and hammerhead sharks. They are large in size and can easily bite a person in half.
But the largest of the sharks, the whale shark, reaching a length of 19 meters, is quite peaceful. Unlike its predatory relatives, it feeds on plankton and small fish.
CRAB
The crab played sea football,
He scored a goal with a claw.
Everyone was so happy,
That the team won.
(N. Migunova)
Crabs run along the bottom of warm seas and oceans. They have a wide and short body covered with a durable shell. Crabs have five pairs of legs. The front legs are transformed into powerful claws. With the help of claws, crabs cut their food into pieces and put it into their mouths.
Crabs, like other inhabitants of the seabed, are good scavengers. They eat the rotting remains of marine organisms, clearing the ocean of harmful substances. But sometimes crabs attack underwater plantations where oysters and mussels are bred.
Traveling along the bottom, crabs are forced to hide from predators and camouflage themselves. They attach pieces of algae to the spines on their legs. And the junk crab, which lives in the Mediterranean Sea, collects everything that comes into its claws - empty shells, broken glass, fish heads - and puts it on its back. Such “scenery” perfectly camouflages the crab. When a junk crab is threatened, it exposes its back with junk to the predator.
The wandering crab once deceived even Christopher Columbus himself. This type of crab does not live at the bottom, but travels along the surface of the ocean, sitting on a detached algae or tree branch. When Columbus approached the shores of America, sailors noticed a wandering crab in the Sargasso Sea.
They decided that there was land somewhere nearby, but in fact the nearest shore was still very far away.
The king crab is similar in appearance to a real crab, but is actually a relative of the hermit crab. It has not five, but four pairs of legs. Kamchatka crab is a real giant! The width of its shell reaches 25 centimeters, the distance between the ends of its legs is up to 1.5 meters. Kamchatka crabs live in the Seas of Japan, Okhotsk and Bering Seas. Most of them are off the coast of Kamchatka.
PATTER
The crab made a rake for the crab,
The crab handed the rake to the crab.
Hay rake, crab, rake.

HERMIT CANCER
Crayfish climbed the mountain
And I learned to whistle.
It only turned out to be a BREAK!
Cancer fell from the mountain.
(I. Zhukov)
In a hermit crab, only the front part of the body is covered with a hard shell, and the abdomen is soft and defenseless. To protect themselves from sea predators, these animals hide in empty sea snail shells, like hermits in caves. The soft abdomen can curl into the curls of the shell, and the abdominal legs quickly pull the body inward.
When moving, crayfish carry the shell with them all the time. When they are in danger, hermit crabs climb entirely into the shell, closing the entrance with a large claw.
When a hermit crab grows up, the old shell becomes too small for it. He gets out of it and looks for a larger sink. At this time, he needs to be especially careful so as not to get eaten by predatory fish.
To enhance protection, the hermit crab often places a sea anemone on its shell. This beautiful ocean dweller, like a bright flower, has very burning tentacles. If you touch them, you can get seriously burned. A hermit crab, having encountered an anemone it likes at the bottom, uses its claw to “pluck” it from the stone and transplants it onto its shell. Anemone is not at all against such a neighborhood - after all, she always gets crumbs from the hermit crab’s dinner table. When a cancer exchanges an old shell for another, it also transplants its burning neighbor to a new home.
Very often, hermit crabs engage in real battles with their relatives for the possession of a shell or a beautiful sea anemone. The defeated cancer lies on its side or back, and the winner does not touch it anymore.

V. G. Kvashin
At first the sea was empty. Only the Master of the Sea and his wife lived at the bottom. The owner of the sea arranged the entire sea: now he will make some kind of shoal, now an island, now he will invent a current. And the wife just sits and sits. One day the wife says:
- I'm bored. You are always doing something, inventing things, but I have nothing to do.
The Master of the Sea thought and decided to give his wife a gift. Created fish.
- Here's some fish for you. You will be the Mistress of the Pisces. Herd them, look after them, breed them, whatever you want. It will be more and more fun.
The wife was delighted and began to fish. Three days later he says:
- You invented fish. How will I breed them if they have nothing to eat?
“It’s true, I forgot about it,” answers the Master of the Sea.
I thought about it and created small crustaceans, crabs, shells, and various algae and planted them on the bottom.
- Let the fish eat this.
The wife was satisfied and went to breed fish. A little time passed, the wife again asked her husband:
- You made different crustaceans, but what will they eat?
The Master of the Sea thought - indeed, it was a mistake. I looked - there were no crustaceans at the bottom. I decided to feed everyone at once, and came up with whales and seals.
- Let the crustaceans eat whales and seals when they die and fall to the bottom. These animals are big, there are enough crustaceans for everyone!
After some time, the Mistress of the Fishes came to her husband again.
- Why are you unhappy again? - asks the Master of the Sea. - I created fish for you, food for them - I made all kinds of crustaceans, I came up with food for crustaceans - let them eat dead whales. What else are you missing?
“You came up with everything well,” says the wife. - But what will these huge whales and seals eat?
The Master of the Sea thought. Indeed, whales and seals have nothing to eat. It is impossible to create other animals - there is nowhere to house them, and so the sea is already full of all kinds of living creatures. He thought and thought and came up with an idea.
- Let the whales eat crustaceans, the seals eat fish, the fish eat crustaceans, algae and shells, and let the various crustaceans eat dead whales, seals and fish. This way everyone will be full.
- How smart you are! - said the Mistress of Fish. - It’s not for nothing that you are the Master of the Sea! Now there is food for everyone at sea.
