Take the chicken liver and cut it into pieces. If you have a good blender, there is no need to grind the liver, it will do a great job with it.
To the specified amount of liver, add 3 eggs.
Grind the resulting mixture using a blender, add salt. The mixture should be liquid, like pancake batter.
Take a clean frying pan, grease it with vegetable oil and heat it to the optimal temperature. We begin to bake our pancakes by pouring one ladle of batter per pancake into a hot frying pan. They should not be too thick.
When you see that the edges of the pancake begin to darken, turn it over to the other side and fry it in the same way.
An inverted pancake is usually served for about 1 minute.
Cut the onion into small pieces.
Grate the carrots.
In a frying pan, saute the mixture of onions and carrots for about 8-10 minutes, then add a little salt and pepper.
Divide the onion-carrot mixture into portions according to the number of pancakes received. If you get 8 pancakes, then divide the vegetable mixture into 7 servings. It is very important to prepare a pie that is evenly filled with filling.
We separate the garlic from the husk and, using a crusher, squeeze it into mayonnaise.
Place the first pancake on a plate and generously coat with the sauce made from mayonnaise and garlic.
We repeat the procedure until the liver cake is completely assembled.
Having separated the white from the yolk, rub them separately and into different plates. We will need them to decorate the cake.
The cake that we have prepared needs to be coated with mayonnaise on top and on all sides.

Recipe 2: Beef liver pie
The beauty of this recipe is that you can either assemble an incredibly delicious beef liver cake, or stop at the liver pancakes stage, put the kettle on and have a huge hearty lunch! By the way, you can also wrap any filling in a pancake.
- 500 g beef liver
- 0.5 liters of milk (any fat content)
- 3 chicken eggs
- 3 medium sized onions
- 1 cup wheat flour
- black pepper - to taste
- salt - to taste
For the filling:
- 2-3 onions
- 1-2 carrots
- 50-100 g hard cheese
- 2-3 chicken eggs (hard-boiled)
- vegetable oil - for frying
Rinse the beef liver in cold water, dry with a paper towel, cut out the films. Pass the liver through a meat grinder or blender.
Similarly, grind the onions in a meat grinder or blender.
Combine beef liver, onion, add chicken eggs.
Mix the liver mixture thoroughly with your hands or with a mixer on low speed.
Add milk, salt, pepper, spices. Gently stir into a homogeneous mass.
Add wheat flour to the resulting mixture.
Mix with a mixer at low speed.
You should get a homogeneous beef liver dough of medium thickness, approximately like pancakes. If the liver cake batter is too thick, add a little milk and stir again.
Heat the pan and grease it with oil if you are not using a non-stick pan.
Pour some liver dough into the pan (about half a ladle) and roll it over the pan like a pancake. Bake over medium heat for about 1 minute.
Using a wide wooden or silicone spatula, carefully turn the liver pancake over and fry it on the other side until it is completely cooked. This happens quite quickly.
Liver pancakes are quite fragile, turn over carefully. For convenience, you can use two spatulas.
At the same time, while the liver pancakes are baking, prepare the filling for the liver cake from beef liver.
Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots on a fine grater. Fry the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown, add the carrots, pour in a little water and simmer the vegetables over low heat under the lid until soft.
Pancakes for beef liver cake are ready. Attention - everything must be done step by step! Cool the pancakes to room temperature. Do not assemble the liver pie while the pancakes are hot, otherwise the filling may “float”.
Place the first liver pancake on a serving plate, add a little carrot filling on top, and smooth it out with a fork. Apply a thin mesh of mayonnaise on top, cutting off a small corner from the bag. Do not add too much mayonnaise, otherwise the beef liver cake will be too oily.
Place the second pancake on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Also grease with a little mayonnaise.
In this way, assemble the entire cake from liver pancakes, alternating the filling. I usually make more carrot layers and fewer cheese layers.
Separate the whites from the yolks and grate on a fine grater. Sprinkle the top crust first with the egg white, then with the yolk. Grated eggs can also be added to the inner cakes.
Beef liver cake is ready! We put it together step by step, without leaving you even a chance for error :) Leave it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours and you can serve it.

Now in a small frying pan in vegetable oil we will bake thin (if possible) pancakes, turning them over with a wide spatula, the widest one you have.
I got 5 pancakes with a small addition, which I also fried and ate with pleasure. By the way, I checked the pancakes for salt, it was a little under-salted, which means I’ll add salt to the filling. If I had over-salted it, I wouldn’t have salted the filling at all.
Let's prepare a layer for the liver cake. Peel and finely chop the onion, and grate the carrots on a fine grater. Then sauté the onion in vegetable oil until transparent.
Add the carrots and continue to fry over low heat until the carrots are soft.
Add garlic passed through a press to the mayonnaise. By the way, you can quickly prepare mayonnaise yourself, it is much tastier and healthier than store-bought. See the recipe here. Half of the mayonnaise can be replaced with natural yogurt, the result will be no less tasty and not so greasy.
Mix onions with carrots and mayonnaise with garlic. I add a little salt because I didn’t add enough salt to the pancakes.
Each pancake, except the top one, is generously greased with filling. The top one is just mayonnaise.
We got such a nice beef liver pie.
We will use walnuts for decoration. First, lightly fry them in a dry frying pan, stirring continuously.
Chop the cooled nuts with a knife approximately as in the picture.
Sprinkle the top and sides coated with mayonnaise with nuts and decorate with a little greenery.

salt, pepper,
garlic and curry seasoning.

Assemble the cake. Grease each pancake with mayonnaise and add the filling in the following order:
pancake with mayonnaise + yolk
pancake with mayonnaise + protein
pancake with mayonnaise + cheese, etc.
Decorate the top with boiled carrot flowers and the sides with herbs. Try it, it’s very tasty!
7-Liver cake with mushrooms
The excellent taste of fried champignons will make your traditional liver cake an unusual, original dish.
We will need:
Liver (any) - about 800 grams- a glass of milk
A glass of flour- three raw eggs
One boiled egg- half a kilogram of fresh champignons
Two bulbs- a small pack of mayonnaise (about 200 grams)
Salt, pepper, vegetable oil.
- Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the chopped champignons until the excess moisture has evaporated from them. Add finely chopped onion and fry until tender. You can add salt and pepper.
- Grind the liver, mix with eggs, a small amount of vegetable oil (so that the pancakes fry better and do not burn), mix the mass thoroughly, add salt.
- We bake pancakes, turning them on both sides.
- Grease the layers of liver pancakes with mayonnaise and add mushroom filling.
- You can decorate the top with finely ground yolks, parsley leaves, and bright vegetable flowers.
8-Liver cake with cream
This cake turns out incredibly tender, and its “layers” literally melt in your mouth!
We will need:
Half a kilogram of liver
Two bulbs- oatmeal "Hercules" - 5 spoons
Three raw eggs- a glass of cream
Garlic, milk, salt, pepper, lemon juice.
- We take fresh liver and scald it with boiling water (I described above how best to do this). Then grind it in a blender and mix it with finely chopped onion.
- Soak oatmeal in milk, combine with liver and onion. Add eggs and mix thoroughly again.
- Fry the pancakes.
- For the sauce, whip the cream, gently mix with chopped garlic, add lemon juice and pepper.
- We assemble the cake, greasing each “cake” with sauce, then put it in the refrigerator to soak, but not for long - this cake is so tender that half an hour will be enough for it.
- Spread sauce on top and sprinkle with herbs.
- If you’ve already tried to make a liver cake, then you probably know that sometimes, once it’s ready and decorated on top, it can be difficult to cut into traditional “cake” segments—the layers tend to slip out from under the knife. There is a wonderful way out - cut it into portioned triangles while still “undecorated”, and then decorate the finished portions on top.
- Small liver cakes decorated like cakes look great on any table, even the most formal ones. They are baked and “assembled” in the same way as large ones, only you should not get a pancake, but rather a pancake. For its filling, three layers will be enough; it can be both traditional and unusual.
- Among the non-traditional and very tasty fillings are grated cheese, egg pancakes (baked according to regular omelet recipes), chopped vegetables, and lettuce.
- The liver cake will be much more tender if the liver is ground to a very finely ground puree (make sure that there are no pieces left), and the pancakes are baked in a sufficient amount of vegetable oil (if there is not enough oil, the “cakes” will turn out to be dry).
- It is better to grate the carrots for frying on a fine grater, so they will blend more harmoniously with the delicate texture of the liver pancakes. If desired, carrots fried with onions can be ground in a blender until pureed, then when cut, your dish will look exactly like a real cake!
- Liver cake (its hot version) looks very beautiful if you sprinkle it with grated cheese and put it in the oven for a few minutes. As soon as the cheese has melted and acquired a golden brown crust, the cake can be removed.
9-Liver cake in a new way
In my opinion, liver cake is familiar to the entire post-Soviet space. I just came up with a different form of presentation. This is how pastry chefs make cakes, why not get creative with appetizers?
You need to cut the pancakes in such a way thatwe got rectangles with whichwe will work.
Take the first rectangle, painting and culinaryUsing a silicone brush, coat it with garlicmayonnaise and roll into a roll. We do the samewith the rest of the rectangles, sequentiallywrapping them around each other.
Place the “work” in a springform panfor the cake, fill with gelled mayonnaise withspices and - in the refrigerator until completely hardened.
Don't ask me how to make gelled mayonnaise: I<на глазок>did. There are exact recipes on the internet. But, and this is very important, do not pour mayonnaise on the cake right away, but give it a little<схватиться>in the refrigerator, otherwise it will escape through all the cracks.10-Liver small cakes

We use the remains of the cake to form the back.7. We make the muzzle by rolling one cake into a bag. We make ears from the remains of the cake.
8. Apply a thin layer of minced mushroom to the back of the hedgehog and decorate with seeds in the form of needles.
9. Apply a thin layer of mayonnaise to the face. We make a nose, eyes and eyelashes from olives.
10. Decorate the dish around the hedgehog with lettuce leaves.11. Decorate the back with whole mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and a sprig of parsley.
Cooking method
Let's start cooking by preparing the fillings. Grind and fry the onion, mix when cool, with mayonnaise, grind the carrots and garlic in a blender (or on a grater), add salt and mix with mayonnaise, also grind the beets with garlic + salt, mayonnaise, grate 2 boiled eggs + salt, mayonnaise, processed cheese grated + salt, mayonnaise, potatoes and onions through a meat grinder, add eggs, flour + salt, pepper. Mix well, fry the pancakes (makes three pieces), pass the liver through a meat grinder, add eggs, flour, milk + salt, pepper, fry four pancakes, now we proceed directly to assembly - the first cake is liver, grease with carrot spread; the second is potatoes + onions with mayonnaise; third - liver + eggs with mayonnaise; (leave a couple of spoons) fourth - potato + beets with mayonnaise; fifth - liver + cheese with mayonnaise; (leave a couple of spoons) sixth - potato + carrots with mayonnaise; the seventh is liver. We simply grease it with mayonnaise. Now we coat the sides of our “cake” with the egg-cheese mixture (we left a few spoons at a time), decorate the top with grated egg, mayonnaise, and green onions. BON APPETIT!!!
Well, below, see ideas for beautiful festive decorations for liver cakes.
Liver cake is a truly festive dish, and not only because it is tasty and beautiful, but also because not everyone will decide to make such a cake, even for a holiday - everyone knows what a troublesome and capricious dish it is.
Follow my master class and you will certainly make a liver cake!
I know that frying pancakes scares many people: so, what can you do to prevent liver pancakes from sticking, breaking and turning over well?
Cook from chicken liver (not beef), it is not capricious, does not taste bitter, cooks very quickly and you will not be afraid that somewhere is undercooked and damp.
For myself, I determined the following simple recipe proportion: for every 200g of chicken liver, add 1 egg, 1 spoon of sour cream 20%, 1 tablespoon of flour - such pancakes do not stick, do not break and turn out tender.
Their thickness is about 3 mm. Fry as you are used to frying regular thin pancakes in milk.
And so that they succeed and turn over well, make cakes with a diameter of NO more than 20 cm. The smaller the diameter of the frying pan, the more convenient it is to turn over and cook pancakes.
The frying pan should be oiled and well heated, I grease it with oil only before pouring the dough for the first time, but if you are afraid, grease it every 3-4 pancakes.

I won’t dissuade you, but I will say that with a certain skill and a good recipe, making liver cake is not a problem
Ingredients:
- 600 g chicken liver
- 3 raw eggs (and 3 more boiled for decoration)
- 2 large onions
- 2 large carrots (plus 1 small boiled carrot for garnish)
- 250-300 g mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp. sour cream 20% fat
- 2 tbsp. refined vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3 cloves garlic
- parsley for garnish
- Salt (1/2 tsp for liver dough, 1/2 tsp for frying carrots and onions)
And here is the order in which I did everything
Wash the chicken liver, thoroughly remove films and remnants of the gallbladder (green).
Usually the liver sold is of good quality and does not require grueling preparation, but it is worth reconsidering, because If you accidentally get hold of a remnant of the gallbladder, the bile can spoil the entire dish with its bitterness.
Combine liver and raw eggs in a large bowl. Add 3 tbsp. fat sour cream. Add 3 tbsp. flour. Beat everything with a blender. Add 1/2 tsp. salt. Mix.
Heat the frying pan (it must be clean and dry) thoroughly with 1 tbsp. l. oils Just before frying the first pancake, you should grease it with oil. In a ladle, you need to add a volume of liver dough sufficient for a thin pancake (3 mm) and completely cover the entire surface of the pan.
For my 20 cm frying pan, I take 1/2 a ladle, pour it onto a well-heated frying pan and spread the dough over the surface in a circular motion.
You need to fry the pancakes over medium heat, as soon as the pancake “sets” and begins to move away from the edges of the walls (after 1-2 minutes) and almost ceases to be pink, carefully pass the spatula under the pancake and, making sure that it does not stick anywhere, turn it over onto a raw side.
Turn over in one confident motion. Even if the pancake is torn, don’t worry, finish frying it and place it among the layers in the cake - it will “camouflage” perfectly.
Fry for about 1 minute more, turning over, or until browned.
Chop the onion. Grate the carrots. In a frying pan, fry a mixture of onions and carrots over medium heat for 7-10 minutes. Salt (1/2 tsp salt), pepper (1/5 tsp)
Cool and divide by the amount required for each layer so that the frying is evenly distributed in the cake. There is no need to put the carrot-onion mixture on the last pancake, so if you have 10 pancakes, you need to divide the mixture into 9 servings.
Peel the garlic and squeeze into mayonnaise. Place the pancake on a plate. Coat with 1 tbsp. mayonnaise with garlic.
Liver cake is a universal dish that can be prepared both for a holiday and included in the everyday menu. It includes healthy and wholesome ingredients. Also, it can be made absolutely dietary: cook the cakes in the oven, and not fry them with butter in a frying pan; replace mayonnaise for greasing the cakes with sour cream; Use vegetables for dressing.
This pie is a hearty dish, so it is suitable even for a full meal. You just need to add a couple of fresh vegetables to it, and you can even do without a side dish.

Add mayonnaise and finely chopped herbs to the garlic. Cucumbers need to be cut into strips or grated on a coarse grater. Mix all ingredients and place between cake layers.
- Option 2. Cabbage with onions and mushrooms. Take the champignons, cut them and fry them along with onion, pepper and salt. Don't overuse the frying oil because the cake may turn out greasy.

- Option 5. Tomato filling. Take the garlic and pass it through a garlic press, add mayonnaise. Spread all this on the first cake layer and place thin slices of tomato on top. Spread mayonnaise on the second cake layer, sprinkle with grated hard cheese, add halves of olives and finely chopped herbs.
How to decorate a liver cake
The dish can be decorated in different ways. For example, a simple decoration in the form of mayonnaise and finely chopped herbs, yolk or white crumbs.
Using canned corn, cranberries and parsley leaves, you can create a real garden on the last layer of the cake: the cranberries are the centers of the flowers, the corn is the petals, and the parsley is the leaves and greenery of the flower garden.
Also, using vegetable ingredients, you can lay out entire thematic compositions. Make a snail from a carrot, sunflowers from corn, a ladybug from a tomato, and various greens from lettuce. Also, olives and olives will make funny striped bees. This decor is perfect for decorating a dish for a children's party.
You can make lush roses from thin long slices of boiled carrots or cut them into stars, dripping mayonnaise inside as the center of the flower.
The cake will turn out very bright if you sprinkle it with finely chopped dill or parsley, as well as diced red and yellow bell peppers. This decor is very simple to implement, and the result will greatly delight your family and guests.
Moreover, a flower arrangement can be made from quartered boiled eggs, pickles and olives.
A decoration using a pancake will be very original. Catch olives and thinly sliced carrots in the center, and place olives under the pancake so that its surface goes in even waves. What a sight for sore eyes!
You can also use tomatoes as decoration: both classic and cherry. They can be combined with herbs, and also made into mushrooms. Therefore, the leg will be an egg, and the cap will be half a tomato with mayonnaise dots. Weeding around mushrooms is easy to do using finely chopped herbs.
If you leave one cake layer, you can use it to make an original decor. Cut the cake into thin long strips and arrange it in a checkerboard pattern. You can put vegetables inside the cells, or simply decorate with mayonnaise.
- The liver must be fresh for cooking, as it is the main and main ingredient of the dish.
- If you want to turn your dish into a delicacy, use goose or turkey liver.
- If the pie turns out a bit harsh, pour boiling water over the liver the next time you cook it; if bitterness remains, soak in milk.
- If you notice veins or a film on the liver, they must be removed. Since it is in these parts that harmful substances and toxins accumulate in the animal.
- Liver is a high-calorie and filling product, so for the cake, choose low-calorie mayonnaise or replace it with sour cream.
- If you have high cholesterol, this dish is unfortunately contraindicated for you.

Wonderful taste, original design, a lot of benefits - what else is important for a real cook?
The best way to excite people is to serve a cake at the snack table and not say that it is made from liver. Imagine the amazement of your guests when they take a closer look and realize that the red flowers on the “dessert” are made from cherry tomatoes, the pretty white specks that so wonderfully enliven the overall design are from mayonnaise, and the leaves on the sides are not creamy at all, but even real and very parsley! In my opinion, this aspect alone is worth spending a little time making a nice, delicious, colorful liver cake for tonight's dinner.
There are a lot of recipes. How not to drown in them, finding “yours” and choosing the best one? There is only one recommendation – try and experiment. Through trial and error, you will probably find one that suits you in all respects. I can only help with one thing - to tell you about those recipes for liver cakes that I prepared myself, tried and tasted, and was satisfied with the result.
To prepare liver cake, it is best to use beef (veal) or chicken liver. Pork, alas, is mercilessly bitter, which is felt especially clearly in the cake. If you have unlimited access to goose (ah!) or duck (mmmm!...) liver, feel free to take them. A very worthy cake is also made from turkey liver.
WHAT IS HERE - LIVER CAKE RECIPES +:
Simple liver cake
The recipe is basic, which you simply need to master in order to then set off on your own and serve the cake the way you personally like, get creative with fillings and “creams,” add and remove ingredients.Ingredients for pancakes:
- 0.5 kg of liver;
- 0.5 liters of milk;
- 5 eggs;
- 2 onions;
- 1 cup flour;
- salt, pepper, vegetable oil for frying.
Ingredients for the “cream”:
- 3 small onions;
- 100 g mayonnaise;
- vegetable oil;
- 1 boiled egg for decoration.
HOW TO COOK
We wash the liver for the cake well, remove films and other ugliness. Let the water drain, then cut into pieces.
Peel the onion, set 3 heads aside, cut 2 into 4 parts and add to the bowl with the liver. Pass it through a meat grinder.
Beat the eggs into the liver-onion mixture, add salt and pepper, stir, pour in the milk and gradually add the flour, thoroughly stirring any lumps.
The consistency of the batter should be slightly thicker than regular pancake batter. Be sure to give it a little “rest” - when the gluten dissolves, frying such pancakes will be much easier, they will become stronger and more elastic.
Grease a well-heated frying pan with oil and fry the pancakes on both sides until lightly golden. Leave to cool.
Meanwhile, make the filling - cut the remaining onion into half rings and fry it in vegetable oil until golden.
Collect the cake: liver pancake, a little mayonnaise, part of the onion, again pancake, mayonnaise, onion - and so on until the pancakes run out.
Coat the top layer with mayonnaise and decorate with grated boiled egg. Before serving, the cake should soak for 3-4 hours, then you can treat your guests!

We leave a few beautiful mushrooms for decoration and immediately put them aside.
We pass the liver through a meat grinder. Add eggs, salt, pepper and milk, stir and add flour. Mix again - when the dough is homogeneous, add the mushrooms.
Fry in a well-heated and oiled frying pan on both sides.

Liver cake with buckwheat flour
If you cook liver in, say, the usual fried form, what do you serve it with? In my family, they prefer buckwheat as a side dish - it seems to me that this grain is simply created to perform on the same stage with liver, it emphasizes its taste and reveals its undertones, balances the light bitter-tart taste and simply gives a feeling of deliciousness, lightness, satiety.Ingredients for the recipe:
- 5 eggs;
- 1 kg of liver;
- 5 tbsp. l. buckwheat flour;
- 2 tbsp. l. starch;
- 300 ml milk;

- mayonnaise, garlic.

Liver cake in a slow cooker
In the age of insane speeds and the desire to reduce the time devoted to solving everyday issues, more and more people are switching to cooking in a slow cooker. In my opinion, a liver cake baked in this way loses in taste - it is more boring, restrained, and neutral. However, at the same time, it should be noted that the amount of oil compared to the version in a frying pan is significantly small. In addition, baked is always healthier than fried, so such a cake has a right to exist as an alternative.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 500 g liver;
- 3 eggs;
- 2 onions;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 glass of sour cream;
- 1/3 cup flour;
- vegetable oil;
- 50 g mayonnaise;
- 3-4 cloves of garlic;
- 2 boiled eggs.
How to cook liver cake in a slow cooker
Cut the onion into cubes and fry in a multicooker on the “Baking” mode.
Grate the carrots on a fine grater and fry them too.
Wash the liver, dry it and cut it into pieces. Place in a bowl, add onions and carrots, puree the mixture with a blender or pass through a meat grinder. Add eggs, salt and pepper, flour and knead a not very thick dough.
Grease the multicooker cup with oil, pour in the dough and close the lid. Cook on the “Baking” mode for 60 minutes.
Remove the finished cake from the multicooker and, after cooling completely, cut it into 2-3 cake layers.
Mix crushed garlic with mayonnaise and spread on the cake. We also grease the top and sides with “cream” and sprinkle with grated egg. Serve 2-3 hours after the cake is soaked.
Liver roll
Yes, this is not a cake, but a roll, but it is cooked in the oven and looks stunning on the plate. It will take a little less time to create it, and the result will be no worse.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 500 g liver;
- 100 ml kefir;
- 1 tsp. baking powder;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 cup flour;
- 2 onions;
- salt, pepper;
- 150 g hard cheese;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- a few sprigs of parsley.
PREPARING THE ROLL
Wash the liver, dry it, remove the films and grind it together with the onion in a blender. Add eggs, kefir, salt, pepper and baking powder, stir in flour and grind until smooth. Pour the dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
While the roll is baking, grate the cheese on a fine grater and mix it with finely chopped parsley and squeezed garlic.
Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle evenly with cheese and herbs. Immediately roll it up, separating it from the paper, and return it to the oven for another 3-5 minutes. Slice when cooled.
A reason to fantasize
The listed recipes for liver cake are not a complete list of how you can diversify a fairly ordinary dish. You can safely add to the filling:
— fried carrots and Korean carrots;
- caramelized apples, applesauce and just diced or grated apples;
- cranberries, lingonberries and any other sour berries;
- eggplants, zucchini, tomatoes and many other vegetables that go well with liver;
- nuts and seeds;
- prunes, raisins, dried apricots.
Turning cons into advantages
Quite often you can come across comments and opinions that liver cake is terrible, decorated and served as a beautiful snack. Different opinions are needed, different opinions are important, but let's figure it out. The most common argument against it is the use of mayonnaise. No one argues that the industrial sauce is far from ideal and contains elements of Mendeleev’s periodic system that are far from useful for the body, however, who says that a liver cake must be coated with store-bought mayonnaise? Nowadays, almost everyone has a blender in their kitchen, but finding an egg, vegetable oil and a spoonful of mustard and lemon juice is not at all a problem - create, whip, get a healthy homemade product, which you can use to prepare snacks. And don’t grumble about the nasty things that are hidden in store-bought packages of mayonnaise; grumbling is more harmful than eating it.
By the way, some of the mayonnaise can be replaced with low-fat sour cream - just mix them together and coat the pancakes with the resulting “cream”. The taste will remain virtually unchanged, but the fat content will decrease, and your mind will be pleased.
The second common argument from the category “Baba Yaga is against” is a rant about frying. It turns out that liver cake requires frying! Oh! This is where I run out of reasonable arguments, I immediately want to ask if a person really doesn’t eat anything fried at all? Potatoes with an appetizing crust, a golden-brown cutlet, lush pancakes with apples - everything is in the abyss, is everything wrong? When a counter-argument appears about the amount of this very fried thing in one dish, you want to answer sarcastically by asking whether the person is going to eat the whole cake entirely and alone. There is no need to consume everything at once, eat one piece, accompany it with a light vegetable salad - and you will be happy.
Benefits of the liver
It's no secret that liver is a product that is not particularly popular among the bulk of the population. And in vain! It has a lot of advantages, which I propose to talk about a little.
Keratin, which is part of the liver, activates metabolic processes, helping the body eliminate nasties and dump garbage. There is no need to talk about the benefits of folic acid, which is very difficult to find in food, - it is not for nothing that it is prescribed to all pregnant women in the form of pharmacological preparations. Antioxidants are a separate matter; now all conscious people are looking for an antidote to the harmful effects of the environment, and the liver can boast of a high content of these substances. Who in childhood was not stuffed with liver “for hemoglobin”? It seems to me that I have known since the cradle that this product contains a record amount of iron, which is extremely necessary for the functioning of any human body. I won’t talk about a bouquet of vitamins and a mountain of minerals - and so everything is clear.
By the way, returning to the main topic of conversation, I will say that muttering about the high calorie content of liver cake is also quite controversial. Liver itself is a low-calorie and dietary product; 100 grams of it contain only 100 kcal; thanks to this fact, nutritionists are even developing effective liver diets.
So, liver is tasty, healthy and cheap, so I advise you no longer to hesitate and rush to the kitchen - cook, rejoice and love the world around you: as soon as you learn to do this sincerely, it will love you too, you'll see!
Decoration and presentation
Like any pancake cake, liver cake can claim the right to be served in an unusual and interesting way. Grated cheese, carving and vegetable applications, a sea of various greens and herbs, olives, green peas, pomegranate seeds - show a little imagination, and the cake will sparkle with incredible colors! When baking “cakes”, make them all of different diameters - from the largest to the smallest: coated with cream, you will get a Christmas tree that can be placed on the New Year's table. Three diameters of pancake circles - and the joyful snowman is almost ready. Using heart-shaped molds, you can easily assemble a portioned snack for Valentine's Day.
By the way, portioned serving is also an excellent option for those who, for some reason, are not “friendly” with pancakes. It is much easier to fry pancakes - by using restrictive rings for omelettes, you can get small pancakes of the same size, which you can fold into neat liver... cakes. Don't be boring and monotonous, create and decorate the world, making it brighter, more interesting, more fun!
