How to make chocolate brownie
1. To make a delicious brownie at home, it is important to properly melt the main ingredient - dark or dark chocolate. To do this, break the tile into slices and cut the butter into pieces. Put them in a bowl and put them in the microwave to heat. If such a device is not available, then heat the food in a water bath. In both cases, make sure that the chocolate does not boil, otherwise it will taste bitter.
2. Whisk the butter and chocolate until smooth.
3. Pour flour into the chocolate mixture. If possible, it is better to sift it through a sieve to enrich it with oxygen.
4. Using a mixer, knead the chocolate dough.
5. Peel the walnuts and lightly fry them in a dry frying pan. You don’t have to fry the nuts; you can just lightly dry them in a frying pan. Using a sharp knife, cut into medium pieces and add to the dough. Let's mix them in well.
6. Beat eggs into another bowl and add granulated sugar.
7. Using a mixer, beat the ingredients until an airy mass with bubbles forms on the surface.
8. Pour the egg mixture into the bowl with the chocolate dough.
9. Using a wooden spoon, knead the dough until smooth. Its consistency should be pouring, like sour cream.
10. Line the baking pan crosswise with baking paper. This will make it easier to remove the finished brownie from it, while maintaining its shape. Pour the dough and spread it over the entire surface in an even layer with a spatula.
11. Send the sweetness to bake in a heated oven to 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Afterwards, cool so that the dessert acquires a rich chocolate taste, and remove from the mold. Cut into 4 cm squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can pour melted chocolate on top of the brownie, as you prefer. Brownies are a traditional American recipe. Its base is chocolate, hence the color and name. Brown - “brown”. This is not a cupcake, pie or cookie. Something in between all of this.
Brownies were invented by chefs at Chicago's Palmer House Hotel in 1893. Since then it has been one of the most famous desserts in the world.
In the USA and Canada they love brownies. Especially children (they eat with milk). It is sold in all pastry shops and cafes, and economical American women bake it themselves.
I decided to be one of them and baked brownies.
Brownies are baked like a cake or cupcake and have a crispy exterior, but the inside should remain moist, like nougat. Looking ahead, I’ll say that I didn’t succeed in the latter – I left it in the oven a little. But it still turned out very tasty.
So, to make brownies, you will need:
Chocolate – 100 gr. (preferably dark);
Butter – 180 gr.;
Granulated sugar – 200 gr.;
Eggs – 4 pcs.;
Flour – 100 gr.;
Walnuts – 100 gr.
Step 1 - prepare the dough
The first step is to melt the chocolate and butter.
The recipe says - in a water bath. But I have my own way.
Note to the housewife: a microwave oven can handle the functions of a “water bath” perfectly. Place the chocolate and butter in a special form and place in the microwave for 1 minute at maximum tº.
After removing from the microwave, mix the chocolate buttercream thoroughly.
The microwave did a great job with the “water bath” function.
Then beat sugar and eggs in a separate bowl. You can beat it with a whisk or with a mixer. I prefer a blender.
While I was whisking eggs and sugar, the chocolate had time to cool. You need to mix 100 grams of flour into it.
After that, I combined the chocolate and egg-cream mixture.

The final touch - in the same blender I crushed the nuts and added them to the dough.
By the way, even in liquid, unbaked form, it is very tasty. ;)
Step 2 – bake
Turn on the oven at 200º, and while it is heating up, line a deep baking sheet with baking paper.
The recipe said to “Bake for 25-30 minutes.” My experience has shown that if you want that moist center, it is better to remove the brownies from the oven after 20 minutes.
Step 3 – treat yourself
Thanks to the baking paper, the brownies were very easy to remove from the pan. After that, I sent the dessert to the windowsill to cool.
Once the brownies cooled, I cut them into small rectangles.
According to the classic recipe, apricot glaze is poured on top of the brownie. But I just sprinkled it with powdered sugar.
The brownie really doesn't taste like a cupcake, a cake, or a cookie. Something in between. Moderately sweet, not cloying, nuts add a pleasant taste. In a word, delicious.
Brownies are served with ice cream, tea or coffee. I especially liked it with coffee. :)
