Having reached the maximum level of their character in The Division, players upgrade them, i.e. find the most powerful weapons, armor and mods.
The best equipment in The Division is yellow, and their drop rate is much lower than other items. However, this suggests that there are no ways to increase the frequency of their drops.
There are no places in the game where you can be guaranteed to get rare loot. These items drop randomly, but you can influence the regularity of their drop.
To increase the frequency of dropping top items, you need to equip your character with things that increase the likelihood of dropping good loot. And since such equipment does not have the strongest characteristics, in the early stages of the game you could simply refuse them.
Go to the menu and open the hero's Inventory. Next, go to the Character tab, here in the Research category there is the Gathering perk. Thanks to it, you will receive more loot and increase the chance of rare items falling out.
To increase the bonus of this perk, look among your equipment for items with a bonus to Gathering. With an increase in the overall bonus, the probability of dropping cool things increases, in particular in Dark Zone. But don’t forget that loot drops randomly, so there may be situations when one day you don’t get anything worthwhile, and the next day you collect several items at once.
Each weapon in the game can be equipped with many modifications. But the developers preferred realistic customization, for example, you can’t put a handle on a pistol, but you can put a full weight on an assault rifle!
The weapon has 5 slots and the player’s scope for filling them is impressive:
- optics. There are a variety of sights, up to a 15-fold increase in target size (sniper, don’t miss this modification!): collimator, holographic, ACOG, open, sniper type for MK4. In addition, they seriously increase headshot damage and optimal range;
- shop. For the most part, this is an increase in magazine capacity, but there are also interesting things in the form of increased reload speed and critical hit chance;
- grenade launcher The most successful are the laser laser, which will help when shooting offhand, and the handle, which, when installed, will reduce vertical recoil. It is extremely important to achieve the maximum possible stability of the weapon, then it will stop shaking and start shooting at the point at which you are aiming (the accuracy parameter in the game is responsible for this feature). If you don’t pay attention to improving these indicators, be prepared for a constantly rising queue;
- trunk. Choose between suppressor, muzzle brake, compensator and flash suppressor. The most useful functions are reducing recoil when firing and suppressing the sound of a shot;
- skins. It couldn't have happened without them. Coloring has no effect on gameplay, but is a way of self-expression.
Modifications, as well as weapons, increase in characteristics as the player's level increases. And they also vary in rarity.
