The director of this epoch-making action was the Italian theater director Franco Dragone, who has collaborated with one of the most famous circus shows on the planet, Cirque du Soleil. One of Philip Bedrosovich’s favorite musicians, Engelbert Humperdinck, “the teacher of youth from the record,” as Kirkorov himself called him, was invited as a special guest. The 80-year-old performer specially flew to Moscow to congratulate the hero of the day and perform his songs.

Before the concert, while the celebrity guests were showered with congratulations, everyone in the palace foyer could admire an exhibition of photographs and stage costumes of Kirkorov - about 90 of them in total. It is known that Philip Bedrosovich personally called each of the thousands of guests invited to the anniversary in advance. And on the afternoon of April 30, the King of Variety specially set aside time to supervise the preparations for the celebration himself.

The interior of the banquet hall was decorated with fresh flowers, among which charming orchids, gold-painted pineapples, oysters and other luxurious delicacies predominated.

The exquisite evening meal satisfied the tastes of the most sophisticated gourmets. Among the dishes were live royal Kamchatka crabs, pink lobsters with Périgord truffle and black caviar sturgeon, fricassee of exotic seafood “Frutti di Mare”, wild sea bream in Ligurian style, ribeye steak and much, much more.

Of course, we should talk separately about the unique cake- a real work of culinary and artistic arts, made by pastry chef Renat Agzamov and embodying the most creative ideas and fantasies.

The four-hundred-kilogram masterpiece rotated on a stunning crown encrusted with caramel diamonds, along the diameter there were five figures made of marzipan, perfectly depicting different images Philip Bedrosovich, and this stunning sweet design was crowned with the letter “I”.

At the beginning of the event, the audience was entertained by residents of the popular Comedy Club- Garik Kharlamov, Garik Matirosyan, who staged sparkling funny sketches on stage, in the center of which, of course, was the hero of the occasion!

His father Bedros and Aunt Marie, who amazed everyone with her incomparable vocals, came on stage to congratulate Philip Bedrosovich.

Many warm words Alla Pugacheva said in her inimitable manner to the hero of the day. It's no secret that the “woman who sings” is one of the main personalities in the fate of the King of Variety.

Philip Bedrosovich himself called him “the teacher of youth from the record.” This famous performer is 80 years old. After completing the main concert program VIP guests moved to the sixth floor of the State Kremlin Palace in order to continue celebrating the anniversary in a more informal atmosphere.

The informal atmosphere turned out to be no less, and maybe even more, royal than the festive show. The tables were literally bursting with incredible appetizers, the finest seafood and elite champagne. Pineapples painted with gold paint were displayed as decoration. All this added to the guests the feeling of a real royal feast.
