Wishes for the last week of the passing year. Congratulations on the outgoing and new year
Despite the 100th anniversary of the Russian Troubles, as the October Revolution in Russia is also called, the outgoing year in the Orenburg region passed quite calmly. Combat operations involving Russian weapons took place far in the Middle East. Terrorists have shown themselves in other Russian regions.
And our region was distinguished only by a record grain harvest, a rebuilt embankment of the Ural River, Ugandan students who came to us for the youth festival, who recorded a record knitting of an Orenburg down scarf, and even several bright events in the life of the city and region.
Event of the year
The main event of the outgoing 2017 in the Orenburg region was an unprecedented grain harvest.
The total gross harvest from peasant farms of all types and forms amounted to 4 million 370 thousand tons of grain. For comparison: last year the harvest did not exceed 3 million 200 thousand tons.
At the same time, our farmers did not radically increase the acreage under cultivation. It’s just that the average yield in the region, instead of the usual 10 - 11 centners per hectare, this year 2017 rose to the level of 16 centners.
According to specialists from the Orenburg Ministry of Agriculture, this was facilitated, firstly, by weather conditions - a cool summer with rain in June and dry August. And secondly, the competent actions of both agronomists and combine operators, who managed to carry out all the necessary technological processes on time this year. And not only grow, but also harvest without loss.
Comparing this year with the fruitful year of 1968, Nikolai Lebedev, head of the crop production department of the Orenburg Ministry of Agriculture, said that the technology now, of course, is more effective than what it was. But there is clearly not enough staff. Therefore, if the yield had been a little higher, some of the grain might have remained unharvested.
The Orenburg region did not become the first in Russia in terms of gross harvest. The southern regions of our country also distinguished themselves with a large harvest. However, our wheat is considered one of the best in quality.
And therefore no one was surprised when the region’s Minister of Agriculture, Mikhail Maslov, was awarded a gold medal in Moscow “For his contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex of Russia.” True, he himself told his colleagues at a meeting at the ministry that it was not only him who was awarded, but all the Orenburg peasants.
Persons of the year
We intentionally put the plural in the title of this section. This year, the person of the year was the residents of the regional center, who immediately began searching for 12-year-old Nastya Dyakova, who had been kidnapped by a pedophile.
The girl managed to call her mother from the car where she was stuffed. And my mother contacted groups of Orenburg bloggers, who turned the ears not only of the police, who traditionally slowly respond to such statements, but also of all concerned citizens.
Volunteers who combed the areas of Stepnoy and the bypass found the attacker and the would-be victim in a dead end near the city dump. Young Orenburg residents Bulat Bayrov, Ildar Salimov and Nikita Lapshin detained 30-year-old Perm resident Yuri Tiunov, who was in Orenburg on a business trip. And back in Perm he was already wanted for a series of similar kidnappings, some of which ended in the murder of children.
The pedophile was sentenced to life imprisonment at the end of the year. And the Orenburg residents suddenly realized their strength in the ability to urgently unite to help their fellow countrymen. Then even law enforcement agencies begin to work, rather than formally report by introducing an interception plan.
The city is seriously thinking about creating an informal volunteer service. And one of the three heroes who detained the pedophile, this year, among other things, also passed a competition and training for the cosmonaut corps in Star City. There was a publication about him on our website in the summer.
Politician of the Year
No matter how much we would like to name a previously not very noticeable figure, for example from the opposition, as the politician of the year in our Orenburg region, the real contender for victory in this nomination is Governor Yuri Berg. In the year of the centenary of the revolution, no one predicted the loss of his post, independent resignation or early elections, but nothing of the kind happened.
Moreover, this year the Orenburg governor was awarded the Order of Honor “for achievements in work and many years of conscientious labor activity.” And this is against the backdrop of his colleagues leaving their posts in neighboring regions.
In the past year, the governor made it clear to his opponents in the region and beyond how strong and stable his position is.
True, according to the unofficial popular rating, the title of politician of the year can be shared with the governor by the head of the Saving Life Foundation, Anna Mezhova, who managed to attract maximum media attention this year. And even provoke Nikolai Baskov to come to Orenburg and visit the foundation.
In fact, Anna’s scandalous publication went viral on social networks after Baskov and Meladze announced that they performed for free at the wedding of the daughter of a Krasnodar judge. Mezhova quipped: they say, then sing for free for our children who have suffered from violence. Can you come?
And Basque arrived. And even in addition to the concert, he met with children from the foundation, advising them to never give up and believe in themselves.
Meladze expressed his respect to the foundation over the phone, but did not succumb to provocation when he arrived.
Emergency of the year
Emergency incidents in 2017, unlike the previous year 2016, occurred not at the beginning, but at the end of the year. The main emergency could have been the release of gas from a well being repaired, when three dozen residents of the village of Samorodovo were poisoned. But this emergency was less noticeable for Orenburg residents than the December fires in large shopping centers in the city.
The first to burst into flames was the newly built, but never put into operation, shopping center “Lyubimy”, located opposite the road bridge across the Urals. An open fire raged in the attic and roof of the building. The bridge and the trans-Ural part of Donguzskaya Street were covered in acrid smoke. Numerous onlookers filmed the firefighters’ work and posted it on social networks.
No harm done. According to unofficial data, the workers, who came to the site from all over the region, were pressed for time, and no one paid attention to safety precautions. Local residents of the neighboring private sector watched as electric welding sparks rained down from the attic all week. On Friday it caught fire there.
And literally a day later, the Mir shopping center, better known to Orenburg residents as the Vietnamese market on Pobeda Avenue, burst into flames. The fire happened over the weekend. Everything that could burn burned, including goods.
In their appeal to the governor, entrepreneurs who lost all their property in the fire assured that the market was set on fire by competitors. It’s difficult to say what actually happened. As they say, an investigation is underway. And, judging by the way it is being conducted, we will never know the truth.
But the Raduga shopping center in the 23rd microdistrict, which caught fire a week later, was quickly extinguished. And the fire did not cause as much damage as the previous two. And here the cause of the fire was almost immediately determined: electrical appliances. Probably, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is tired of the hype in the press and social networks, where versions have already begun to appear that in Orenburg the number of sellers allegedly exceeded the number of buyers. This means trade wars are possible.
Breakthrough of the Year
It was carried out by our football team “Orenburg”.
The club, which has risen sharply over the past few years, under the leadership of the energetic coach Robert Evdokimov, showed its class in the RFPL in the first half of the year, playing with major league teams. I was in 13th position out of 16 and might not even have made it to the play-offs. Since it was on a par with Makhachkala's Anzhi, which nevertheless turned out to be one step higher.
But football is a game. The little-known Khabarovsk SKA scored a zero score twice at the junctions. And then, thanks to his goalkeeper, who saved the post-match penalty, he literally leaked into the major leagues. And FC Orenburg again ended up in the FNL.
To say that this crippled the team is an understatement. Robert Evdokimov left his post as coach. Footballers began to be taken over by other clubs.
The half-Georgian, half-European coach Temuri Ketsbaya, who replaced Robert, could not find an approach to the team. Defeats plagued FC Orenburg already in the FNL zone. The team fell to the bottom of the table. The fans were finished off by the news that even our famous Orenburg defender Adesoye Oyewole moved to Amkar Perm.
However, the club's management, apparently, is also tired of this state of affairs. And instead of Ketsbai, Vladimir Fedotov, who had previously worked as an ordinary coach in the Evdokimov headquarters, was appointed head coach of FC Orenburg.
This was already our new team, which in 2017 managed to fall from the heights of the RFPL, rise from its knees and reach second place in the FNL, which now makes it possible to move to the major league without play-off matches. However, we still have the second half of the season ahead of us.
And how selflessly devoted the players are to the team can be judged by the fact that in one of the last games, our captain Dmitry Andreev, scoring the decisive goal with his head, put his face under the opponent’s boot. And he was seriously injured, but the match was won. Adesoye Oyewole suffered a broken collarbone in the next match, but did not allow the opposing striker to reach our goal.
Curiosity of the year
And the strangest and most controversial news from Russian social networks related to the Orenburg region this year was the recording of one violation on video. Somewhere near Volgograd, an old VAZ “six” violated the speed limit.
A receipt for the fine was sent to Omsk. But the Omsk car owner said that, firstly, he has a different car. Secondly, the “six” has Orenburg numbers. And, thirdly, Comrade Stalin himself was driving. And he was carrying, judging by the photograph, none other than Jesus Christ.
Numerous bloggers stood up for the Omsk resident, confirming that, judging by the traffic police photo, a car with Stalin carrying Christ actually came through Volgograd from Orenburg. Well, it looks amazing!
Someone, however, suggested that it was Leonid Kanevsky and Igor Talkov. But the majority of bloggers were in favor of the initial assumption. And most importantly, everyone was confident that any neighbors would be able to get along with each other on Orenburg soil. And the fact that Stalin was taking Christ from us to Mamayev Kurgan or somewhere towards Crimea is an ordinary situation for Orenburg, and not out of the ordinary.
Therefore, we wish all our readers more joyful moments in life in the coming year. And we hope that 2018 will be more positive for us all in every sense!
Friends, the old year is passing and the new one is just around the corner... New Year), which means it’s time to take stock. Have you let us down, have you made any wishes?
Fantastic time of year..! And we are the only ones in the whole world who managed to create a triumph of universal proportions out of the next change of the calendar, which everyone up there liked 😀
I think almost everyone is ready for the coming of the year (as the ancient Slavs called the year). Gifts were stocked up, beautiful New Year trees were lit up everywhere, the city lights sparkled, shop windows and our homes were transformed, the greatest aesthetes decorated their blogs-)
FOR THE FIRST TIME this year (hello to Soviet childhood) I decided to create something New Year’s with my own hands, otherwise I was bored with the Chinese tinsel. I took advice from women's blogs and made the stencils myself. Thank you, girls) for the ideas. The result is window graffiti like this. Rate this exclusive:
The pleasure I experienced was incredible and I don’t regret the time spent at all. Now it’s nice to look out into a “frosty snowy morning”, making up for the lack of winter landscapes in our area, or to count the stars in the night sky. Wow, we wish we had some snow...
And another thought managed to flash: maybe I could do some handicrafts - knitting, embroidering, weaving macrame,... sewing on a machine 🙂? After all, I was once interested in all this.
Results of 2017
What was 2017 like for us? Each has its own... Remember what analogy we made in 2017 with 1917? But nothing bad happened - and that’s already good.
The year 2017 was not particularly successful for me, after the leap year 2016 it was unusually bright and starry, then, contrary to signs, a lot of good things happened both in the family plan and on the blog, this one passed quietly and somehow without results. Apparently, no one has yet canceled the balance in the Universe.
But a lot of things happened for the first time!
FOR THE FIRST TIME in my life, NOT ONE of my New Year's wishes came true that I carefully wrote down on the eve of 2017 in a squared notebook, guided by the instructions of smart gurus. And she followed all the instructions carefully, obediently and according to the list. Nothing came true))! Well, it happens... They say that now it’s not enough to want and write it down, since desires are sent into the Universe in abundance, everyone has learned to do this), now we need to add meditation, visualization and cunning practices to this. How are you doing with this? Have yours come true?
But I’m not worried, it’s not fulfilled - it just means the time hasn’t come. All come true…! And the passing year will be remembered in a special way. He was rich in emotions, sensations, feelings. There were many of them, different, burningly painful, calmly peaceful, joyfully exciting... as it should be in life. Otherwise, what kind of life is this without pain and worries? Or maybe this is just it? After all, every overcoming of ourselves, solving or not solving problems, the appearance of any results gives us strength, spiritual growth, and increases worldly wisdom and experience. And remember:
“You cannot appreciate the sweetness of life without tasting the bitterness of troubles.” S. Rustavelli
I visited for the first time this year and am still impressed. And I think how I managed not to go there earlier, judging by your comments, everyone managed to visit there back in Soviet times. But I didn’t... didn’t have time.
FOR THE FIRST TIME in my life I started doing Tibetan hormonal gymnastics every morning for 10 minutes. Unexpectedly, I liked this action. And I recommend it to you.
FOR THE FIRST TIME it came from online communication, which brought a lot of positive emotions and the communication now continued in reality.
FOR THE FIRST TIME this year on the blog for three weeks, tired of the surging flow of communication and monotony of rituals, and the first thing that made me feel “no ice” was this.
This year I managed to take part in three interesting competitions on different blogs, and ironically, I won them all for the FIRST TIME. Somewhere thanks to you and your voices. And so sweet were these tiny moments of success that colored my everyday life.
The blog turned 4 years old in December. FOR THE FIRST TIME I didn’t announce the date, well, how long can you draw cakes and light candles? By the way, such rituals have almost disappeared from blogging, either we are growing up, or we are hiding our age 🙂, or I am reading the wrong blogs.
In the fall, I started running another website, and surprisingly it started successfully. But for now I’m keeping quiet about it...
FOR THE FIRST TIME this year I started (I can rightfully say so), since the average monthly income has approached the minimum wage in the country - 7,800 rubles, despite the fact that I have not used all the resources. So know that a site with 1 thousand visitors per day can, in fact, provide a good increase in your income. I sincerely wish to achieve this for those who strive for this.
I will not continue to give dry figures of results, ratings, issues, declines... After all, by and large, all this is complete nonsense. I realized this quite recently, literally the other day, and then it suddenly dawned on me... Everyone knows that the most important thing is that the work you are doing is not a burden, but attracts and brings joy. And so that you are in harmony with yourself).
And no less important is the awareness of the unity of people, all of us. Those who are next to you in life and those who are somewhere behind the monitor, but his participation is so alive and real, sometimes more tangible than what is happening in life, and you feel it with every fiber of your soul. And just a couple of words, a smile, even an ellipsis is sometimes enough to feel the impulse of someone’s soul, if these souls are tuned in to the same wavelength as yours.
I have new readers, new friends, and in some places my relationships with old ones have become even closer, but in others they have faded away. Several interesting people, whose opinions I especially valued, stopped reading my blog, and I stopped reading some blogs... Well, this also happens, because people come into our lives when there is a need for it and remain nearby as long as it is necessary and important. If they left, it means I no longer corresponded to their ideas, and accordingly, I got bored somewhere. This is also normal. Change is inevitable in our lives.
It’s not customary for us to congratulate on the passing year, it has gone and gone... And yet, let’s thank 2017 for every day it has lived. And let the best thing that happened remain with us, well, we don’t want absolutely everything NEW, yet the old is often dearer and closer.
I thank you, my readers and friends, for being with the Solar Circle for all 365 days:
For your support and your friendly shoulder in difficult moments;
For your bright, meaningful, often cheerful and sparkling comments;
For your questions and messages in personal mail and words of gratitude sent in response;
For your disagreement with me and my opinion, because this is also important;
For your activity, for participating in those small competitions that I held.
For help with the blog in its technical part, for assistance and participation so that the site becomes better and better.
For your recognition of my modest literary abilities, for your inspiration that you give with every communication.
I hope we will be together in 2018)
Happy New Year
And now, people, Happy New Year and upcoming Christmas! I and My solar circle wish everyone spiritual growth, emotional fulfillment, vivid sensations, light and sunshine in the soul, new achievements if the old ones did not suit you. Be healthy and happy!
By the way, for those who like to start life from scratch with a new year or with another Monday, this is the time: January 1, 2018 falls on a Monday.
And so that the year is especially successful and the wishes of those who have a dog come true: urgently repaint it yellow). If you don’t have one, be sure to get a yellow one. And stroke her, stroke her... when you meet him, don’t forget to stroke him :-). Go for it! And may everything work out for you.
Hello, friends. 2015 is coming to an end, and with it all the plans and goals set for this year will go into the past. As a rule, the beginning of the New Year motivates people to set new goals and plans. And Anton and I are no exception.
Having thought about them, we decided to publicly voice those that directly relate to blogging. Since having a plan helps you implement it, you will stay on track and not get lost along the way. And if you also voice it publicly, then 100% you will make every effort to implement it.
Before telling you about the tasks of 2016, I would like to briefly summarize the results of the outgoing year. Let me start by saying that it turned out to be very productive and quite unexpected for me.
1. I quit my job. This decision was quite difficult for me, since I started working early, while still studying at the institute, and therefore the work rhythm of the “white collar” became very close to me, practically got used to me, and it was, oh, how difficult it was to part with it.
2. I became interested in blogging and, with the help of my husband, started my own blog. New knowledge, new experience, new friends - all this helped me not to withdraw into myself, but rather to find new facets in myself and open up on the other side.
It turns out that I really like writing articles, sharing my thoughts and emotions in my online diary. I am especially happy when my articles turn out to be useful for blog visitors and words of gratitude take me straight to the clouds)) This gives me confidence to write further, I see and understand that I am not doing this in vain.
3. Working at the computer for a long time affected my physical well-being. I had some problems, which I wrote about in my blog, in order to warn those who, like me, spend the day without looking up from the monitor.
I realized from my own experience that all this online work does not go unnoticed and we need to do it wisely if we don’t want to get a bunch of sores. In this regard, I developed a new regime, diet and habits.
4. I started reading more. Here I would like to note that I have always loved reading. And everything that I can’t get my hands on. Any genre, any writer, etc. At school I really liked the literature lesson and I was especially pleased with the list of books for extracurricular study.
As a child, we lived in a house where there was a children's library on the ground floor. So I literally lived there. I probably re-read all the books while in the reading room, and also took as many as I could to take home with my reading card. I still have a love of reading to this day.
But this year I began to read literature of a slightly different direction. More aimed at personal growth and self-development. Since I now work from home, reading books like these disciplines me and forces me not to relax. After all, many people who work at home online cannot maintain a work schedule, are constantly distracted by some household chores and do not know how to force themselves to work. You can read how I organized my home office and what helped me with this.
There is another global event that happened in our lives, but Anton and I will tell you about it a little later. If you are interested in this, then do not miss the release of this article.
These are the main changes that happened to me in 2015.
Now let's move on to plans for 2016. I’ll only tell you about some of the items from our long list, otherwise it won’t be interesting at all.
First, we want to outline the main direction of the coming year. This is a healthy lifestyle. Keeping a blog is quite hard work, which takes a lot of effort, time and health. And I want bloggers, despite their hobby, to remain healthy people, both physically and spiritually.
Therefore, over the next year I will spend more time studying this issue and share everything in my articles accordingly. That is, I myself will try and try to get rid of some acquired occupational diseases and tell you about my successes or failures. We'll see about that.
I am sure that such articles will be very useful not only for bloggers, webmasters, but also for people who constantly work at a computer. Therefore, the blog will develop two sections: “Healthy lifestyle for blogger” and “Personal growth”.
But since the topic of a healthy lifestyle is quite closely intertwined with blogging work in general, we cannot leave it aside. I believe that a healthy lifestyle greatly influences the blogging process itself, and a section dedicated to it will perfectly complement the main topic of our blog.
In addition, there is a direct correlation that I have experienced myself: the better shape your body and thoughts are, the more productive you can be with your project. By leading a healthy lifestyle and following healthy habits, you will blog at full capacity, because you will have the strength to do so. And by engaging in self-development, you will be able to allocate your time more rationally and effectively so that you have enough for both your health and blogging.
Therefore, the “Personal Growth” section will also be replenished with new posts in which I will talk about books, various trainings, practices of spiritual development, motivation and time management, etc.
In general, the motto with which we enter the New Year is as follows: “Healthy blogging is the path to healthy earnings.”
But this does not mean at all that we will stop conducting our own business. On the contrary, the scope of its implementation will expand and we will include something else useful and interesting. In addition to monitoring the progress and earnings on the blog, we will monitor one more event, which we will talk about in the next issue of blogger show No. 5.
You can read the first four issues. In addition, we will continue to share our experience and various features, achieved indicators, and of course, news from our personal lives. After all, everything is just beginning, so to speak, the very juice.
Well, now let's move on to our congratulations.
Dear friends, our readers and site visitors. Anton and I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year from the bottom of our hearts!
I wouldn’t like to wish for platitudes, so I’ll say this:
2015 is leaving...
Let's try to remember only the good things that he brought us, and let the bad things melt away like the first snow. May the New Year give us strength so that we can create and implement everything that we have planned, what we believe in and what is dear to us.
Let's together turn the next page of our lives and continue to write a new story of our hopes and disappointments, our joys and sorrows, our victories and losses.
We wish you to always have those people with you who are reliable and easy to work with, who you can rely on at any moment, with whom you have common values and ideals.
May your guiding star always illuminate your path in life. Believe in yourself, in the best and don’t forget to smile no matter what.
Remember, to feel happy, it’s enough to decorate your apartment windows with snowflakes cut out of paper, decorate a Christmas tree, watch a New Year’s comedy, or just play in the snow.
And I want to end this post with my favorite quote from B. Shaw, which is very suitable for the main motivational parting words for the next year:
Try to get what you want, or you will be forced to want what you got.
Friends! Do only things that give you positive emotions and change you and your life for the better!
See you in the New Year!
Anton and Ekaterina Kalmykov
“Progress in our modern life is so rapid that remembering its key stages is sometimes very difficult. Yes, this is not so relevant now, because we take all the technical achievements of the past for granted. It is much more interesting to try to describe the most promising developments presented in 2010, and try to look into the future, albeit not too distant.
So, first, let’s outline the most obvious areas of technology development. Did anything come out in 2010 that radically changed the world of show equipment? Of course, it appeared, and there were many such new products.
By new, we, of course, mean not the latest model of a well-known device. A novelty is a revolutionary concept or equipment created in accordance with it.
Digital consoles
This year it has become abundantly clear that analog audio consoles are finally losing ground. A little more, and only low-budget projects will become the lot of good old analog equipment. Already during the development of the digital console, it was easy to notice that it differed favorably from its predecessor, but it took quite a bit of time to realize all the advantages of digital mixing. However, it was well spent, and as a result, digital mixing technologies are now widely used even in the low-cost professional equipment segment. Two budget-friendly innovations in digital mixing deserve particular attention.
Allen & Heath iLive consoles are a whole series of digital mixers from a well-known manufacturer designed for working with “live” sound. What's important is not so much the performance of these consoles, but the fact that since the development of these devices, digital mixing has become accessible to club venues and small concert halls. Digital consoles are gradually gaining a reputation as extremely reliable devices and are becoming increasingly affordable. At the same time, they are significantly superior to other mixers in their price category in terms of functionality.
The second and, perhaps, the most notable debutant of 2010 is the SD9 digital mixing console produced by DiGiCo. Just five years after DiGiCo began producing digital consoles, its consoles found themselves at the top of the list of riders for many of the world's performers. Having won the most prestigious positions in the industry, the company began to move towards mass production. The SD9 console was a real breakthrough in this regard. Although there are many other remotes on the market at the same price, there is hardly a console with better sound quality. Without going into unnecessary details, we will only mention that the SD9 console is equipped with the same SuperFPGA chip as expensive consoles of this brand. In practice, this means that even an inexpensive rental package can now boast the same high sound quality as the equipment used, for example, during U2 concerts. Previously, this was impossible: you either had to pay for a high-end console, or be content with a greatly simplified version. However, DiGiCo has radically changed this situation.
In addition, DiGiCo presented another conceptual innovation - a console with built-in plugins from Waves. Its appearance on the market was quite logical, since the joint use of a digital console and a separate analog processing rack looks extremely inappropriate, especially in the budget segment.
With the development of digital technologies, those sound engineers who have been working at small provincial venues for years will have to retrain one way or another.
Since so many new digital mixers have been appearing lately, we can say that they are the future when working with live sound. But the studio environment is not going to give up its usual positions so quickly. Be that as it may, high-quality sound recording today mainly uses analog mixing technologies. The SLS company, a leader in the development of devices for studio mixing, released a very interesting new product from a conceptual point of view in 2010 - an analog matrix mixer with computer control. The standard rack format module has 16 inputs and 16 outputs. The signal is distributed in analog form, but the process is controlled by virtual routing of the digital signal. The combination of a convenient computer interface and high-quality analog mixing is a very modern idea.
Sound reinforcement
This year was not marked by the emergence of any revolutionary technologies in the field of sound reinforcement. The rows of Class D amplifiers and line arrays are diluted with rare new products created in isolation from global trends. What is it about? For example, about SLS Audio speaker systems with an unusual ribbon driver. We will not go into technical details (fortunately a lot has already been written about them), we are now interested in other aspects. For example, the success of these systems in the market. The tone is, of course, set by the Americans, who began installing SLS Audio line arrays even in new generation cinemas, using new projection technologies in conjunction with high-quality sound, providing image quality close to Blue-ray. However, in our country, SLS technologies are finding more and more fans.
Other examples can be given. The customer is looking for both absolute and relative quality, while focusing on a certain cost. The relative quality is constantly increasing. Let's say, five years ago, systems of the same level as the TT+ series line array developed by RCF cost twice as much. Also indicative in this regard are the X-treme Deflector. It would be a stretch to call them a new product, since they appeared a year ago, but now, in the era of total computer control, autonomous devices are again acquiring their former value. It's hard to argue that a branched interface that allows you to set many sound settings is very convenient, but sometimes it's just not needed.
However, the desire for simplicity can hardly be called a trend of the season. Power amplifier manufacturers seem to believe that power is no longer a competitive advantage because it is not an issue with current technology. What then do they focus on? On management. Computer control is becoming increasingly sophisticated, especially in the case of large digital networks, which have recently increasingly been used instead of classical sound systems. The days of analog routing are numbered, and conventional sound reinforcement devices are being replaced by complex computer systems where the power components are the simplest components. But what happens at the conceptual level?
Sound system developers strive for total control over sound, as they are attracted by a completely new concept of how sound reinforcement systems work. Until recently, it was believed that the higher the quality of all components of the speaker system, the better sound you can get from it. Thus, engineers sought to bring their products closer to some ideal electroacoustic model, which looks so beautiful on a computer monitor screen. An ideal example of the implementation of such a concept can be called, for example, the T-series speaker systems produced by the company. These are practically reference devices from the point of view of our modern knowledge of electroacoustics. In many ways, they are as close to ideal as possible, in almost all respects. These systems are very precisely designed, assembled from high-quality components, equipped with a simple but extremely effective computer calculation and diagnostic system. In all respects they are ideal professional sound sources. But will they work perfectly in all conditions? Unfortunately, this is unlikely, since sound quality is affected not only by the parameters of its source, but also by many other factors, such as the acoustics of the hall. Obviously, the operating conditions of a real speaker system are very different from those simulated on a computer. The characteristics of an ideal system are characterized by high stability, which is a stumbling block because in a dynamically changing environment, a stable system does not always operate at maximum efficiency.
The new concept involves abandoning stable characteristics in favor of instant adaptation to changing conditions. Developers are increasingly coming to the conclusion that characteristics should not be linear. The best solution in such a situation is feedback, which allows real-time adjustment of system characteristics. In theory, it looks like this: an amplifier sends a pulse to a speaker, which turns it into a sound wave, and the computer evaluates the effect produced using a sensor and adjusts the next pulse. Thus, we get a model of a sound system, the characteristics of which as such are not important at all, since the first place is taken by its ability to adapt to a specific situation.
With modern computing power, it is quite possible to construct such a system. The cost of chips with the required characteristics makes it more or less affordable. However, the establishment of mass production of such systems is hampered by a lack of knowledge about the mechanisms of operation of feedback devices. In the laboratory of a well-known Italian company there is already a working prototype of a system that is ready to carry out any order from the central computer and could theoretically provide amazing sound control over the entire frequency range. But to operate the mentioned system, it is necessary to develop algorithms for its interaction with the environment. The most progressive minds in the sound reinforcement industry are now occupied with solving this problem.
With a very high degree of probability he will be found. The difference in concepts is obvious: a mathematically ideal sound source should be replaced by a mathematically ideal sound, and ideal at any point on the site. Do you feel the difference?

In the field of professional lighting equipment, this year, at first glance, did not bring any special surprises. The evolutionary development was reflected in the improvement of LED technologies. And this is understandable: they are so promising that their capabilities will not be exhausted very soon. In general, the past year has been devoted to the development of LED devices with the same characteristics as similar devices based on classic gas-discharge lamps. Some manufacturers have achieved some success in solving this problem. For example, Robe has released the Robin 600 LEDwash, which is essentially the first full rotation LED head capable of emitting white light. From the point of view of classic appliances, this is not an achievement at all, but upon closer examination it becomes clear that the appearance of the Robin 600 LEDwash represents a tangible step forward: this fully functional smart appliance is characterized by very high performance, has small dimensions, and the expected service life of the built-in Its LED life is 50 thousand hours. And this is just one example. Thus, Martin has developed a full-fledged rotating “head” MAC 350 Entour™, which does not require lamp replacement throughout its entire service life. Needless to say, today LEDs are the most optimal lighting sources for professional lighting devices. However, the smart innovations are not limited to the two spotlights described.
Standard lighting fixtures are combined with multimedia equipment. The usual lamp with a set of multi-colored glass pieces has long been replaced by other devices and technologies: digital projectors with full rotation, visualizers, the ArtNet line, a media server and the CITP protocol, which imply a qualitatively new concept of working with light.
It is obvious that devices with a certain number of effects activated through DMX control are becoming a thing of the past. Now lighting equipment allows you not only to use such simple effects as gobos, but also to play full-fledged videos, as well as visualize images using special algorithms. Using the CITP protocol and the ArtNet line, devices can exchange both control signals and other information, such as video libraries, with the lighting console. The lighting consoles themselves now require much more than simply having traditional controls. A modern light mixer must be equipped with large touch panels, thanks to which control of the most complex functions is reduced to simple manipulations. Thus, functions become more and more sophisticated, their implementation becomes more and more complex, and control becomes easier to the point that sometimes it is carried out by moving your finger across the screen. Perhaps the very appearance of the consoles will soon also change. Another new product this year, the Titan Mobile system from Avolites, serves as a clear illustration of progress in the field of lighting equipment. The system control program runs on the computer, and its physical interface is represented by a panel with real faders and buttons. Thus, a device with the functionality of a modern lighting console can easily fit into a small bag (without a computer). This combination can be complemented by a large touch screen, making the system even easier to operate.
Thus, the directions for improving show lighting technology are completely obvious. LED devices are approaching the characteristics of classic ones, the computer is becoming an increasingly important control element, the functionality of the devices is increasing, and working with them is becoming easier.
Conclusion
So, what new show technologies will we remember in 2010? Digital mixing consoles have become much more accessible to the mass consumer. Acoustic systems are turning into ideal sound sources, although the very idea of creating such a source is considered unpromising. Power amplifiers are gradually taking the form of multi-kilowatt sound cards. The computer and multimedia are increasingly used in conjunction with lighting equipment. Evolution continues.

On the eve of the New Year, it is customary to remember the good things that we remember about the outgoing year. 2015, despite the difficulties, was rich in interesting events that left warm and vivid memories. Today we will not talk about politics and economics - the focus of our attention is only on positive phenomena in cultural and social life, which caused a wide resonance and were able to truly surprise and delight.
Date of.
Of course, the most significant event of the year was the large-scale celebration of a great date - the 70th anniversary of the Victory of our people in the Great Patriotic War. The traditional parade on the main square of the country, the grandiose action “Immortal Regiment” and thousands of other commemorative events that took place throughout the country and attracted millions of people were called upon to once again say “Thank you” to all veterans for the great feat that they accomplished for their Motherland.
Movie.
In 2015, a Russian film was awarded the prestigious Golden Globe Award for the first time (before that, only the Soviet film War and Peace had received the award). The triumph of international festivals was the film “Leviathan” directed by Andrei Zvyagintsev, which was also awarded at the Cannes Film Festival for the best screenplay and a number of other significant film forums.
And the main movie characters of 2015 were, of course, the funny little scoundrels from the cartoon “Minions.” And although viewers were familiar with the henchmen of the villain Gru before, the release of a full-length film dedicated exclusively to the adventures of the little yellow men caused a real stir. The box office receipts of the cartoon exceeded $1 billion, turning them into perhaps the most commercially successful “actors” of the year.
Music.
The most successful musical project of 2015 was the new album by British singer Adele, which topped all major world charts. The record, called “25,” sold in record numbers in the first week of release alone—more than 7 million copies were sold worldwide. The singer herself called the album, released after a three-year break, the most important milestone in her work.
Literature.
The winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature this year was the Belarusian writer Svetlana Alexievich, who writes in Russian. The last time a Russian-language author received an honorary award was in 1987 - then the committee recognized the poet Joseph Brodsky. Svetlana Alexievich is the author of artistic and documentary works devoted to acute social and moral themes (“War does not have a woman’s face,” “Zinc Boys,” “Chernobyl Prayer,” etc.).
Fashion.
2015 brought a new trend for fashion fans. Glamcore is a style for those who are not afraid to be the center of attention and stand out from the crowd. Until recently, feathers, rhinestones and breathtaking accessories were the prerogative of pop stars, but today bright and outrageous outfits conquer the streets of big cities. Glamcore looks up to such recognized masters of theatrical appearances as Lady Gaga and Anna Dello Russo, and encourages people to express their individuality through clothing, choosing enchanting outfits with a perky character for everyday wear.
Name.
The British royal house has long been included in the list of the most talked about people on the planet. Every step of the crowned heads is monitored by the press and fans. It is not surprising that the addition to the royal family had an exceptional resonance: only a lazy person did not write about the newly made princess. The daughter of Prince William and his wife was born on May 2. The girl was named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
Internet.
In March, the online community was divided into two camps trying to guess what color the dress was in a photo posted by a Tumblr user. One part of the disputants claimed that the outfit was blue and black, while the other was confident that the attire was white and gold. The discussion quickly went viral, literally sweeping the Internet. Many celebrities expressed their opinions, and even Adobe did not remain aloof from the general controversy. The discussion was brought to an end by the manufacturing company, which stated that in fact the dress was still blue and black.
Animals.
The whole country has been following the story of the amazing friendship between the goat Timur and the tiger Amur from the Primorsky Safari Park in the format of a reality show for a month now. It all started when the artiodactyl was taken to a predator’s enclosure to be eaten. However, the tiger not only refused the treat, but also made friends with Timur. The animals became so popular that the park staff decided to regularly keep a diary and post video reports about the lives of their charges. Today all leading media write and talk about Timur and Amur. The interest in this story is so great that the park management promised to install webcams so that users would be able to follow the fate of their favorite characters in real time.
