Bigfoot Midnight Whistler. Bigfoot found in North Carolina turned out to be a shaman wearing animal skins
And then they analyzed their design, varieties, history in detail, cited numbers and facts - and really found out a lot of interesting things, so for the factual side of the issue, you are welcome to add our material. But we thought: what are monster trucks without entertainment? After all, it is for this reason that they are created! In the USA they are a huge cultural layer, and they begin to be initiated into it right from childhood. Looks like a children's song, but how it rocks...
Okay, okay, now that you've caught the right mood, we can start telling everything in order. You probably already know that it all started in the 1970s with eccentric Bob Chandler, who turned his Ford F-250 into the first Bigfoot and ran over a couple of old cars for fun. Then he built several more Bigfoots. Here is a video dedicated to Bigfoot V and compiled from videos that Bigfoot Monster Truck Inc. filmed in the late 1980s and early 1990s. As we can see, Chandler's innocent hobby for the nineties has turned into a good industry.
Bigfoots have become incredibly popular, and this popularity has only grown over the years. Perhaps its secret lies in the fact that, despite the constantly evolving design, monster trucks seem to be specially created in such a way as to turn over, crash into the ground and walls, scatter pieces of the body, wheels and other parts around themselves and explode. But that’s later, and first – everything that is in the title: growl, push and jump. Admire what this fun has become about twenty years after the previous video.
The largest and the most famous show monster truck in North America is Monster Jam, a tour that includes stops in more than a hundred cities and over 300 shows. But this is not just a circus, but purely American model– the show has a strong competitive element interspersed in it. Monster Jam brings together top teams, each of which has several pilots and, accordingly, cars: Maximum Destruction, Monster Mutt, El Toro Loco, Captain’s Curse, Blue Thunder... In 2012, Monster Jam celebrated the 30th anniversary of one of oldest teams– Grave Digger (not to be confused with the German metal band!).
Packed stadiums with the obligatory American anthem at the beginning, incredibly spectacular tracks and monster trucks, each of which has a very distinctive appearance, symbolism and “voice” and looks like a completely real, tangible superhero - that’s what Monster Jam is. It is not surprising that every “monster” presented in this show has huge armies of fans. Here's a cut best moments one of the performances in 2017, literally in a few minutes giving some idea of the atmosphere reigning there.
In general, everything multi-liter, monstrous-looking and growling is wildly popular in the USA - in particular, in addition to the monster trucks themselves, there is their “mud” variety, as well as drag, hill climbing, tug of war, towing a special cart... All this is terribly interesting, that’s all this could be carefully studied, but... this is all in the States, and here? In Russia there is also a lot of interesting things in this regard, even if the industry (in in a good way words) there is not much in this yet. Just look at the races in UAZs, Lawns or... Belarusians! Also a topic for conversation, huh?!
What's cooler - monster trucks or Belarusian racing?!

Currently well-known in narrow circles is the American Paul Graves, most life searching for Bigfoot, studying footprints mysterious beast, which were recently found in the vicinity of the city of Sunnyslope, Washington State. A steady line of huge paw prints stretches across two gardens, a soybean field, a highway and a frozen irrigation canal, then disappearing into the forest.
The length of each footprint is about sixty centimeters, the depth in the snow is at least five centimeters, and the distance between the mysterious prints exceeds one and a half meters. Graves is convinced that a tall humanoid animal passed here: something like a western gorilla or another large monkey. However, it is obvious that monkeys are not found in the northern American state, so the researcher believes that we're talking about about bigfoot.
Paul says: “Some skeptics have already claimed that this is a hoax. They say someone put on snowshoes and walked here for fun. So, I declare with all responsibility that this is not so. A person is not able to take such huge steps, and even walk a couple of kilometers in this way. Besides, great depth traces indicate that they were left by someone very heavy. Did our hypothetical snowshoe-wielding prankster also have a backpack full of bricks? I have a hard time believing this. Try to put on your own skis, put on the necessary weight and walk through the snow, practically jumping - very evenly and evenly. And for a very long time! You won't succeed."
Graves, who has been studying Sasquatch for more than thirty years, examined and measured the tracks with the utmost care, and also made plaster casts of some of them. An expert says the footprints found near Sunnyslope are very similar to other Bigfoot footprints found throughout the northern parts of the United States. “This is an adult Bigfoot. Most likely, a female,” the cryptozoologist concluded.
They want to make Bigfoot the “official cryptid” of Washington
Recently, another interesting piece of news emerged regarding Bigfoot in Washington. Official Ann Rivers of La Center filed a bill proposing to designate Bigfoot the state's "official cryptid." This was done after a third grader named Caleb asked officials to recognize important bigfoot for the culture and science of the Evergreen State.
The student wrote that he has been interested in studying for several years now. snow people and watched almost all the videos on YouTube that supposedly depicted the legendary relict hominid. The boy noted that among all American states Washington is undisputed leader by the number of encounters with Yeti. Therefore, the young American believes that the Sasquatch should receive official recognition here.
Ann Rivers happily supported this idea. Her bill, No. 5816, states that “Bigfoot has made immeasurable contributions to cultural heritage and the Washington State Ecosystem" and that "preserving Bigfoot's heritage is very important to the state." “I am confident that the Sasquatch, which is the most prominent and recognizable cryptid North America, is also a native Washingtonian,” the Republican senator told reporters.
The main theory surrounding Bigfoot is that this enormous ape-like creature roaming the forests of North America is somehow unknown to science bipedal primate and may well be the ancestor of humans. However, for last years Much evidence has emerged to suggest that this may not be the case at all. They are very unusual messages about the sudden appearance and disappearance of these strange creatures right in front of eyewitnesses.
One such incident occurred in July 2016 with an Albuquerque hunter named Gene, who was hunting elk near the town of Gallup, located on the Arizona-Mexico border, around 7 a.m. It is very remote and mountainous area on the Navajo Reservation. Walking along a steep rocky slope, Jin felt that behind him next comes some large animal that may even be chasing him.
"I served in navy, and know when someone is watching me. I walked for about an hour and a half, constantly looking around, but didn’t see anyone. I walked out to the top of Table Mountain overlooking the canyon, quickly walked down to the edge and heard loud footsteps. Right in the middle of the canyon, seven people jumped out of nowhere wild horses. I walked around this place from all sides, turned my head and saw him. He stood on top and then jumped, one foot down, the other up. This was the one they call "Bigfoot". Imagine, I'm in the middle of an Indian reservation, on the side of a mountain, and there's a six-meter canyon below me... It blew my mind. He was 50 meters away and looking straight at me. And then I ran. There were already 100 meters between us when he threw a stone at me. It was a huge rock, it would have killed me if I hadn’t tripped.”
Frightened, Jim raised his rifle and shot at the hulk pursuing him. He clearly saw that he had hit it directly, but after a few steps the massive beast simply disappeared into thin air as if it had never been there. When the completely confused hunter caught his breath and decided to go back, he found on the ground great amount traces, but drops of blood were nowhere to be seen.
“I don’t know where he came from and where he went afterwards. When I shot, he just disappeared. I followed his steps... It was near the top of Table Mountain, so he had nowhere to go. But I never saw him again, and I never returned there myself.”
Same unexplained case occurred in the summer of 2000 in southern New Mexico. John Bohannon was driving along a dirt road west of Three Rivers Campground, near Alamogordo, when he saw a huge, bipedal, monkey-like creature. Bigfoot was moving in the same direction as the car, so the driver slowed down to get a better look. The massive 2.5-meter-long beast's body was covered in short, reddish-brown hair, and its face looked like a "Neanderthal." He walked quickly 30 meters from the car, and then, looking straight at John, suddenly disappeared into thin air, as if he had simply been erased. According to an eyewitness, there were no trees or anything else nearby where he could hide; it seemed as if he had walked through an “invisible wall.”
Another interesting story was told by Larry Kelma, who in August 1980, in the vicinity of the city of Eugene, located in western Oregon, fell into an “interdimensional portal.” That day, Larry decided to hike the Mollala Indian Trail, which connects the spurs of Saddleblanket Mountain to nearby Oakridge. During the hike, despite sunny weather, at some point everything became blurry, cloudy and gray. And although there were no clouds in the sky, it seemed as if a large shadow had fallen on the ground.
“It was like I was looking into someone’s sunglasses. I took a step, then another. With every step it became darker, and the gray blur turned into a disordered heap of shapes that had no meaning.”
Once Larry passed through what seemed to him to be a “barrier,” everything became sharp and clear. But it was night outside and the wind stopped completely. Looking around, Larry noticed that instead of fir trees, there was a thick, unrecognizable jungle around, and the air seemed thick and oppressively humid. Even though it was night and there was no moon in the sky, the tourist found that he could see. It seemed to Larry that some mysterious source of light was faintly illuminating the landscape. And at that moment, the air shook with a “continuous loud sound”, which immediately filled him with an unbearable feeling of fear.
“It was at that moment that a whisper was heard over my right shoulder: “Now you won’t leave.” I can't say if I heard it with my own ears or if it sounded in my head. I was so scared that I felt my heart stop for a moment. This whisper saved me. I opened my mouth, choked on the thick air and immediately jumped back in my tracks. Then he rushed back and looked over his right shoulder. Dark hairy hands with light nails were reaching for my throat. The fingernails were clean and looked well-groomed. Thumb on thin and strong hands was located lower than in humans. One hand squeezed right in the place where my neck had been a second ago, and as soon as I stepped through the portal, it disappeared into the distance.”
Larry took a few more steps back and found himself again in the cool mountain air, in a familiar environment, and the portal in the form of an oval window slowly dissolved into the air in front of him. The excited witness ran to his truck without looking back. Later, analyzing what happened to him, he came to the conclusion that it was some kind of interdimensional trap.
“On the way home, I was shocked at the thought of what would happen if I drove my car into such a trap. Regardless of what it was, something was trying to kill me. I had nightmares for years and still didn't understand what happened. My fingers are trembling and the hairs are standing up on the back of my neck as I write about this.”
In another report, a woman named Montanez was driving along a deserted road east of El Paso, Texas, when she spotted Bigfoot leaning over a dead coyote. She slowed down to get a better look at the strange sight, and suddenly saw how big creature began to sink into the ground until it disappeared. The woman was sure that there was a cave in that place, and the animal simply disappeared into its darkness. When this place was explored, there was no cave or hole in the ground. Curiously, the coyote also disappeared. Where did they go? It is unlikely that anyone will answer this question.
It is not surprising that Bigfoots who disappear without a trace are considered interdimensional travelers using portals or vortexes. Some call them ghosts or spirits, others believe that they are aliens with invisibility cloaks or psychic abilities, but skeptics, as always, are convinced that these are all just fairy tales.
