Using a mixer or blender, thoroughly beat these ingredients at high speed until smooth and lump-free.When the mixture resembles medium-thick sour cream, begin to sift wheat flour into it through a fine mesh sieve, while kneading the dough with your free, clean hand. Gradually add 100 grams, then a little more. The quantity may vary depending on the variety, grinding, and the quality of the ingredient, balancing between 300–350 and reaching up to 400 grams. The main thing is that the semi-finished flour product does not turn out too dense.
At first the mixture will crumble into small pieces, but over time they will come together and you will end up with an elastic, non-sticky dough. Roll it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator minimum for 30–40 minutes, maximum for 1 hour.
Step 2: form shortbread cookies with mayonnaise.
After the required time has passed, preheat the oven to 185–190 degrees Celsius and line a non-stick baking tray with a sheet of baking paper. Then sprinkle the countertop with a thin layer of sifted wheat flour and place the infused dough on it, having first removed the film from it. After this, using a rolling pin, roll out the semi-finished flour product into a layer thick from 5 to 7 millimeters, if we want to get crispy cookies either from 7 to 9 millimeters for lovers of delicate baked goods.
Next, we decide what shape to give the dessert and, using a knife or special metal molds, cut out figures from the dough. These can be diamonds, ovals, circles, squares, rectangles, plants, animals, fish, birds, cartoon characters or something else.
Then carefully pry the formed cookies with a metal kitchen spatula, place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving them between each 1–1.5 centimeters free space for growth, and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Now we check the temperature of the oven and, if it is warmed up, place the baking sheet with cookies in it on the middle rack. Bake the dessert for 15–20 minutes. Let's get started:
- I thoroughly rub margarine at room temperature with a fork or beat it with a blender.
- I grind the egg yolk with sugar, add vanillin, whipped margarine and mayonnaise. Mix all the ingredients and transfer the mixture to the work surface.
- I sift the flour through a sieve, mix it with soda and add it in small portions to the mayonnaise mixture.
- Place the finished dough, wrapped in cellophane, in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- I pass a small piece of dough through a meat grinder and place my palm under the outlet hole. As soon as the dough that comes out of the hole reaches a length of 5-7 cm, I cut it off and place it on a baking sheet.
- I place the future margarine cookies at a short distance from each other. I bake the cookies for about 20 minutes.
