Trump's youngest son. Barron Trump - the youngest son of the US President (15 photos)
(Barron William Trump) is the only son of the President of the United States and his current wife. Born on March 20, 2006, a year after his parents’ wedding.
Barron shares so many similarities with his father that Melania gave him the nickname “Little Donald”: “He is a very smart and special boy. Independent and stubborn, he knows exactly what he wants. That's why sometimes I call him little Donald."
Education
Trump's son Barron attends Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York, where tuition costs $39,000 a year.
Famous students of this school include actress Ally Sheedy, Charlotte's Web director Gary Winick and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The author of the novel Moby Dick, Herman Melville, also attended this school until he was 6 years old.
When Barron is not at school, he spends his free time at Trump Tower, where he has an entire floor to himself.
Talents
Barron Trump is only 10 years old, but he already speaks fluent Slovenian with his mother and grandparents, who also live in New York.
Melania said that Barron loved to build large models just as his father loved to build skyscrapers.
Scandal
During His father Donald's presidential speech, Barron seemed to struggle to keep his eyes open.
Unable to celebrate his father's success, a tired Barron rocked back and forth in a desperate attempt to stay awake.
This isn't the first time the sleepy Barron has attracted media attention. Cameras captured Trump's youngest son struggling to stifle a yawn at the Republican National Convention in July.
This behavior did not go unnoticed. The scandal erupted on November 21, 2016, when American TV presenter Rosie O'Donnell posted a statement and video on her Twitter microblog that Barron Trump is autistic:
“Is Barron Trump autistic? If so, what an amazing opportunity to raise awareness of the autism epidemic https://t.co/Acgy1Qxyqi via @YouTube.”
O'Donnell was immediately hit with a barrage of criticism. On her website, Rosie posted a message saying that she did not want to make fun of Barron, but was only trying to raise awareness of the issue of autism, since her daughter was diagnosed with the same diagnosis.
Barron's mother Melania Trump threatened to sue the creator of the video if the video was not removed from YouTube.
Barron was born a year after Melania and Donald's wedding, on March 20, 2006. Parents refused the services of hired nannies. Melania herself prepares him breakfast, gets him ready for school and meets him after school, studies with him in the evenings, and Donald is much more loyal to his son than his own father, the authoritarian and tough businessman Fred Trump, once was.
Trump believes that a child should not be limited in his hobbies and scolded for the slightest offense. He believes that he is raising a creative and imaginative son.
Donald Trump's family is large and surprisingly friendly, although all of his children were born from different wives. The eldest sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, work in the corporation of the head of the family. Daughter Ivanka Trump is also involved in business and produces her own line of jewelry. The girl is married to Jared Kushner and is friends with her younger sister from her father’s second marriage, Tiffany Trump.
Barron himself shows friendly and related feelings towards his older brothers, sisters and nephews. For example, during the ceremonial signing of the first documents by his father as president, the boy played with Ivanka’s youngest six-month-old son, which caused discontent among part of the audience.
Until 2016, there was no suggestion from anyone in the press that Trump's youngest son was sick. However, the boy’s behavior during the ceremonial events dedicated to his father’s inauguration as president seemed inadequate to many. One journalist even suggested that Barron was autistic, which caused a storm of indignation from his parents and the public. Melania promised to sue the blogger who first started the rumor about her son's autism.
The reason for such statements was the strange behavior of Donald Trump's son during his presidential speech after winning the election. The boy yawned desperately and fought against sleep (by the way, it was three o’clock in the morning in New York at that time). Another episode occurred at the inauguration: Barron swayed, smiled inappropriately and behaved rudely with his mother, which was again mistaken for an illness.
However, this behavior can also be attributed to the child’s fatigue and age: how much can you ask from a ten-year-old boy, even if he were the son of the president at least three times?
Best of the day
Melania Trump had another conflict with the press in August 2017. Appearing at the Morristown airport wearing a T-shirt with a children's slogan, Barron caused indignation among a number of members of the press, vigilantly following every step of the president and his family. Melania responded to the criticism by noting in her Twitter profile that interference in the internal affairs of any family is unacceptable. Trump's wife was also supported by Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former US President Bill Clinton, who noted that the child has the right to do as he pleases. Monica Lewinsky also spoke out in defense of Barron. The girl called on reporters to be kinder.
After this incident, Barron began to draw criticism from journalists less often, although previously the boy was accused of being unsmiling and stiff. Trump Jr.'s favorite clothes are shorts, short jeans, and bright T-shirts. To school, Barron wears New Balance sneakers, which cost no more than $150. Only for official events, according to the rules of etiquette, Barron wears business suits and ties.
Personal life
Before his father's presidency, Barron attended Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York. At one time, Herman Melville, the author of the novel “Moby Dick, or the White Whale,” and actress Sarah Michelle Gellar graduated from this educational institution. The boy spent most of his free time in his father's mansion, Trump Tower, where he had an entire floor at his disposal.
In an interview, the mother noted that the boy looked like his father both in appearance and in character. He is just as stubborn, independent and purposeful, it is impossible to convince him, so his mother even gave him the nickname “little Donald.”
For now, Barron’s personal life consists of his mom, dad and numerous relatives. Barron's grandparents, Melania's parents Victor and Amalia Knavs, periodically become guests of the Trump family in the White House.
Barron Trump has an official Instagram profile, which was created in December 2016. Photos of the boy with his family and friends appear on the page.
In his free time, Trump Jr. builds entire cities and skyscrapers using construction sets. He plays quietly by himself and enjoys watching movies, which worries Trump Sr. The President believes that modern films contain a lot of violence and aggressive scenes that have a harmful effect on the psyche of the younger generation.
Unlike his father, who communicates with the people he needs, Barron is friendly. First of all, after moving to Washington, the boy invited his school friends from New York on a tour of the White House. The party was fun, the guys were allowed to stay overnight.
Barron Trump now
At the beginning of 2017, Barron was still living with his mother in his father's mansion, as the parents decided not to bother the child with moving to the White House before the end of the school year. But in the summer, Barron had already settled in the White House and became the second boy after John Kennedy's son to live in this building. The boy had several rooms at his disposal, as well as a swimming pool, a basketball court, and a home theater.
The boy's place of study also changed. His school was St. Andrew's Episcopal School, where tuition costs $40 thousand. Classes in this private educational institution are small - only 10-15 people. Before Barron Trump, presidential offspring traditionally attended Sidwell Friends. But Trump disrupted the usual course of things. The boy arrives at school in a government car with security. Barron moves around the city separately from his parents’ cars, which journalists have repeatedly noticed.
Now the boy speaks fluent Slovenian, his mother’s native language, studies French, and loves mathematics and natural sciences. His father believes that Barron is a future computer genius because he easily understands modern programs. The boy shares his father’s hobby of golf and often goes out on the field with Donald Trump.
Barron is also interested in other sports. He is partial to baseball and tennis. Barron Trump is a London Arsenal fan. The boy himself is not averse to kicking the ball. After an amateur game with the players of the American club DC United, the boy himself became a player in the youth team and took part in 24 matches during the 2017/2018 season.
Thanks to active preparation, Trump Jr. is becoming taller every day and is about to catch up with his parents in terms of growth parameters. The boy's weight does not exceed average: Barron does not suffer from extra pounds.
Children of the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump (from left to right): Donald, Ivanka, Eric, Tiffany and Barron (center)The statement posted on whitehouse.gov 4 days after the inauguration is impersonal and laconic (“According to a long-standing tradition, the children of presidents are given the opportunity to grow up without political attention. The White House fully expects it to continue." But it is impossible not to understand what, and most importantly, who we are talking about. The hysteria about Barron Trump's inadequacy is beginning to take mass form, and two days earlier Chelsea Clinton, daughter of the 42nd US President Bill Clinton, tried to stop her on Twitter, writing: “Barron Trump, like all children, deserves the chance to be just a child.” The well-known Monica Lewinsky, thanks to Clinton, also spoke out in defense of the boy. Her tweet with the hashtag #barrontrump reads: “All children should be protected from intimidation and bullying. Let's rise above this."
Among the reasons why President Trump’s son became an Internet star at such a young age, there is one curious one: this is the first boy to finally appear in the White House since 1963 (for a second, that’s more than half a century!). The previous one was John F. Kennedy's first-born son, John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr. He was born 16 days after his father was elected head of the country and spent the first three years of his life in the presidential mansion in Washington. The baby grew up almost in front of the entire country, thanks to which he earned the nickname “son of America.”
What's the matter
Barron Trump was also awarded the title, although much less flattering - he is called “rain man” (by analogy with the character in the film of the same name - a genius and... an autist). It is not entirely clear where the prerequisites for this came from, because the younger Trump was quite rarely in sight during his father's election campaign ─ Melania tried to keep him in the shadows. He appeared in public three times: during Trump's campaign trip to South Carolina, at his speech at the Republican National Conventionand during a speech after winning the presidential election.
The latter was won back by the media community in full. On November 11, that is, almost immediately after the results of the presidential race were announced, the TV presenter of the popular American show The View, comedian Rosie O’Donnell posted on her Twitter a link to a video and a question: is the president’s son autistic? In fact, O'Donnell's message was a retweet - she was replicating a video that blogger James Hunter had posted on YouTube a little earlier. It was an edited selection of “strange” and “unusual” (such as a closed facial expression and uncoordinated movements of the arms and/or legs) moments of Barron Trump’s behavior, supported by statements about him by his father and mother, which were taken from interviews at different periods of the family’s life. The video promoted the author's assumption that Donald Trump's youngest son is autistic. Melania, taking control of the situation, ensured that the video was removed from the portal. The development of this episode was not particularly successful: firstly, all Americans are aware that O’Donnell quarreled with Trump ten years ago, and secondly, since one of her own daughters has autism, why shouldn’t Rosie do it? What's going on at her house?
New impetus to hundreds of thousands of comments on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #barrontrump was the inauguration of President Trump. A video of Barron Trump sharply withdrawing his hand from Melania during the inauguration parade (and then even choosing to walk next to his father rather than his mother) excited social networks. But they were blown up by a tweet from a certain Katie Rich (as it turned out later, the screenwriter of another beloved TV show, Saturday Night Live) - biting, cold and, in general, even cruel. Ms. Rich wrote that the younger Trump would apparently be “the first homeschool shooter” (“Barron will be this country’s first homeschool shooter”), implying that the president’s son, with his appearance and behavior, resembles typical troubled American teenagers who run to solve problems sadly in a way known to the country. A short time after the recording, the account was blocked, after which only one entry remained, saying that Katie Rich “sincerely regrets the thoughtless and hurtful words” (it later became known that the apology did not help ─ NBC terminated her contract).
Daddy's boy
A little earlier, the media did not fail to note Barron’s absence from the Trump family at the pre-inauguration concert. The parents did not explain why their son was not with them, saying only that he was at home. But Sasha Obama, for example, was not at the event on January 10, when her father gave his farewell speech as President of the United States! In general, it is difficult to imagine the amount of rumors and gossip that Barron Trump’s absence from the White House, even if temporary, will generate.
Barron, 10, is in school, so he and Melania will continue to live in New York in a luxurious penthouse on the 66th floor of Trump Tower at least until the end of the current school year. Mrs. Trump herself insisted on this - she did not want to expose the boy to unnecessary stress associated with moving, changing classmates, teachers, etc. Rumor has it that the Trump family tower on Fifth Avenue will become a “branch” of the White House in New York, because it will have to be strengthened many times over security. Barron will be put in an armored car, special agents will be assigned to him, and the school will be inspected every day before the start of classes to rule out the possibility of an assassination attempt or terrorist attack.
Today, everything that concerns Barron Trump is subject to crazy criticism. Although, if you look at it, there are not many reasons for ironic attacks. He is bilingual (speaks English and, thanks to his mother, speaks fluent Slovenian). In early childhood, he managed to visit television (including The Oprah Winfrey Show). He loves baseball and never misses the opportunity to play golf with his father (for which he takes lessons specifically). He does not have a single official account on social networks, and those that are registered in his name belong to fans.
In general, Barron behaves like a normal child, and Melania herself contributed to the creation of an aura of ambiguity and “specialness” around him. It was just before Barron Trump became the son of the US President. For example, in an interview with Parenting, she described him as a “smart but very specific boy” who “loves to play alone and can do it for hours” and said that, unlike his peers, he does not decorate the walls of his room with drawings and posters, but prefers pure white, and also loves to wear suits to look like dad. The baby is so similar to his father that she often calls him “mini-Donald,” the current first lady admitted. Barron was 6 years old at the time of the revelations...
Who else?
However, no matter how hard the White House administration tried to appeal to political correctness, ridicule and mockery of high-status children took place much before Barron Trump appeared here. What were the presidential youth accused of?
Malia and Sasha Obama: lack of style and good manners
The result of criticism of the daughters of the 44th US President Barack Obama by an employee of the National Committee of the US Republican Party, Elizabeth Lauten, was sad - the American had to resign from her position. In 2014, she posted a plea on Facebook to the Obama girls, asking them to remember that they were part of the family of the first person of the state, and to dress accordingly, and not as if they were “going to hit the bar” (an event attended by her daughters President was held at the White House). Madame supplemented the satirical post with a valuable remark that “you shouldn’t roll your eyes like that, even if you’re frankly bored.” Sasha was 13 years old at that time, and Malia was 16. Later, Lauten deleted the topic (though not before third-party commentators told her that speaking in such a tone was generally indecent) and apologized for her notation, but to save the situation It did not help.
Jenna and Barbara Bush: scandals and brawls
Jenna and Barbara Bush became the first twins to appear in the White House. They were 19 when their father, George W. Bush, became the 43rd president of the United States. Not the youngest age, but not old enough to do whatever you want, especially if you are the daughter of the head of state. In April 2001, the girls were caught at the scene of a “crime” - Jenna treated herself to strong alcohol in one of the night bars in Austin. Everything would be fine, but she violated the law written by her father when he was the governor of Texas, which prohibited the consumption of alcoholic beverages in this territory by persons under 21 years of age. Despite the fact that the case received publicity in the press, after some time the sisters repeated the feat, presenting someone else’s driver’s license as identification... While tolerant Europeans laughed at the situation, and Americans excitedly discussed it, the president’s daughters ─ by that time they were awarded the funny nickname “nightmare of the special services” ─ they were given lectures about the dangers of alcohol and sentenced to community service. The antics of Jenna and Barbara were analyzed in detail on the specially created website firsttwins.com: after describing the next delicate situation in which the twins found themselves, its traffic doubled. By the way, the presidential administration and George W. Bush personally always reacted to these scandalous cases in the same way: “No comment.” It was Jenna and Barbara, who were familiar firsthand with how cruel journalists can be, when leaving the White House in 2009, who wrote in a letter to Sasha and Malia Obama about how difficult it is to be the president’s children.
Chelsea Clinton: unattractive appearance
Life in the White House occurred during the teenage years of the only daughter of the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. Chelsea Clinton was 13 years old in 1993. She grew up as an ordinary girl who spent more time with books than with cosmetics. The Clinton couple also tried in every possible way to protect their daughter from contacts with the media, but they always found a reason to pay attention to the presidential daughter and tease her for her appearance. Jokes with political implications were particularly nasty. So, in 1998, Republican Joe McCain publicly asked: “Do you know why Chelsea Clinton is so scary? Because her father is Janet Reno (78th US Attorney General, who served throughout Bill Clinton's administration). At that moment, Bill Clinton’s excerpt changed: “You know, when they laugh at me, I find it funny myself. But you'd have to be an insensitive idiot to make fun of a teenage girl. We're trying to help her learn to ignore it, so I think it'll be okay." The lessons were not in vain: over time, Miss Clinton became prettier, acquired the prefix “Mrs.” and two children, and made a career. She's really okay. But the memory of the painful stings that strangers can make just because you are nearby in the frame remained, and she was the first to defend the younger Trump.
Every week HELLO.RU talks about what celebrity children wear. Last time we got acquainted with the style of Luna Simone - the daughter of model and TV presenter Chrissy Teigen and singer and composer John Legend, who can now be seen on the big screens in the film "La La Land", and today the hero of our column is the youngest child of the newly-minted US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania - Barron.
On March 20, 2006, Donald Trump's third wife, whom he calls “the love of his life,” and now the first lady of America, Melania Trump, gave him his fifth child, his son Barron William Trump. The boy was baptized in the same church where his parents got married - the Marine Episcopal Church on Palm Beach Island in Florida.
Barron and his older brother Donald Trump Jr. are 28 years apart in age, and Barron is only a year older than his niece, Trump Jr.'s daughter, Kay Madison. Needless to say, Barron was raised as a “golden” child from childhood? Having become a father for the fifth time at the age of 60, Donald Trump gave his youngest son a lot of care and love, which he may not have given to other children. While average children dream of having their own room, Barron was given... an entire floor of the Trump Tower skyscraper. This floor is called "Barron's Living Room", and the boy is allowed to do almost everything here - even draw on the walls.
For a long time, Barron's Living Room was filled exclusively with the boy's toys. When Trump's heir grew up a little, he became interested not only in Lego constructors, from which he built “children's high-rises,” but also in more adult activities, such as tennis, baseball and golf. By the way, Barron adopted his love for the latter sport from his father Donald, who is a member of the Winged Foot Golf Club and regularly participates in competitions at its courses.

He is a very energetic and smart boy - in a word, special. He has his own opinion on everything, he is stubborn and knows exactly what he wants. I think Barron looks like both of us, but because of his personality, I sometimes call him "Little Donald"
Melania Trump said in an interview with ABC News that when raising her son, she does not forget about her Slovenian roots. It is known that when communicating with his grandparents - Melania's parents - Barron uses the Slovenian language, which his mother taught him. He studies other sciences at an elite private school in New York - Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, where tuition costs about 45 thousand dollars a year. It was her son’s studies that became the reason why Melania Trump does not yet plan to move to the White House.
His father's presidential campaign was not easy for Barron, so Melania wants to smooth out the corners and minimize all the inconveniences,
Insiders said, noting that at first Melania will only visit Donald in Washington, and will move there with her son only after the end of the school year. Mr. President himself accepts his wife’s position, no matter how much he would like to see “Little Donald” more often.

Father and son, by the way, are similar not only in appearance and character, but also in style. In an interview with the Parenting website, Melania admitted that Barron enjoys wearing suits and ties, not only on special occasions, but every day. From childhood, his parents instilled in him a business style, as if preparing Barron for the fact that one day he would have to take over his father’s business. Just barely able to walk, Barron was already wearing tailored polo shirts, double-breasted coats and crease-tailed trousers, while most kids his age wore superhero T-shirts.
And if previously Barron could afford to “dilute” his prim style with sports sneakers, then during Donald Trump’s election campaign the 10-year-old boy showed only strict classics, sometimes even matching his father’s tie color. Internet users could not ignore this fact, as well as other features of Barron - in particular, his fatigue during his father’s performances. As a result, the boy became a victim of cyberbullying - bullying on the Internet, after which the White House was forced to issue a statement in support of Barron.
It is a long tradition to allow the children of presidents to grow up free of political attention. The White House fully expects this tradition to continue. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter,
The statement says. We hope that Barron’s childhood will indeed be spent outside of politics, although this is hard to believe.

Barron Trump
Donald Trump's 10-year-old son has recently become the object of malicious ridicule from Internet users. Many people find his behavior at public events strange, which is why some bloggers diagnosed the boy with autism in absentia.
Let's try to figure out what he really is, Barron Trump.
- Barron was born on March 20, 2006 to Donald and Melania Trump. By standard standards, he can be considered a late child. At the time of the boy’s birth, his father was almost 60 years old and his mother was 36.
- Trump's inner circle believes that of the president's five children, Barron is the most like him, not only in appearance, but also in habits.
- Unlike many other rich people, Trump and his wife refused the services of nannies. Trump commented on it like this
- Melania Trump calls her son "Little Donald." She believes Barron is as “strong-willed,” “independent,” “stubborn,” and “sure of what he wants,” just like his father.
- The boy speaks fluent Slovenian, which is his mother’s native language. From the very birth of the boy, Melania spoke to him in her native language.
- Barron attends a prestigious New York school, where tuition costs $45,000 a year. However, for Trump this is mere pennies.
- Barron is not moving into the White House yet. He will remain with his mother in New York for at least another 6 months to finish the school year.
- Barron will cost New Yorkers $1 million a day. That's how much it costs to ensure the safety of the president's son. Taxpayers will, of course, pay for security.
- Barron is a computer genius. His abilities amaze his father: “He’s so good with these computers... it’s incredible!”
- In Trump's New York apartment, the boy has an entire floor at his disposal, where he can do whatever he wants, even paint the walls and floor.
- "We let him be creative, let his imagination fly... When he was younger, he started drawing on the walls... One day he was playing bakery and he wrote 'Barron's Bakery' on the wall with crayons." He's very creative. If a child is forbidden all the time, then how can his creative abilities develop?” Barron doesn't like sportswear.
- He prefers business suits and ties..
- The boy prefers mathematics and natural sciences among school subjects Barron enjoys having dinner alone with his father and playing golf with him.
- The boy is also partial to tennis and baseball. Trump proudly calls his youngest son an "athlete." The boy likes to play alone.
- He can spend hours assembling huge structures from a construction set, approaching this matter thoroughly and thoroughly. He never complains about being bored and always finds something to do.

He was subjected to cruel public ridicule. Barron’s “strange” behavior is actively discussed on the Internet.
During Trump's inauguration, the child smiled inappropriately, swayed and behaved rudely with his mother.
Trump's son during the inauguration
When Trump signed his first presidential decrees in the presence of journalists, the boy, not paying attention to anyone, played with his six-month-old nephew, the son of Ivanka Trump, which also caused a heated discussion on social networks.
Barron Trump plays with Ivanka Trump's son during the signing of documents.
Barron got the first number: he was called both “autistic”, and “home-schooled school shooter”, and “vampire” (due to his paleness), and Joffrey Baratheon (a negative character from “Game of Thrones”), and “freak” , and even a future maniac. However, many were outraged by such abuse of the child. Monica Lewinsky and Chelsea Clinton spoke in his defense.
