He is a close-combat and medium-range warrior, since the accuracy of the gun will not allow us to shoot from afar. Thanks to its dynamics, it can often manage to reach key points and hold the defense there until the main allied forces arrive. You can also ride on it with medium tanks and help them dismantle enemy vehicles. The dynamics of the IS-2 allows this to be done, and its armor will cover allied, less armored vehicles from enemy shells.
When choosing a position, the main thing is to take into account the terrain. After all, the vehicle, like all Chinese tanks, has very poor vertical aiming angles (VAL), and any bump, any hole can prevent us from targeting the enemy’s weak point - this must be taken into account.
