What equipment to install on T32. Heavy tanks
In the American branch of heavy tanks, at level eight, we are given the opportunity to evaluate the T32 vehicle. This is a rather strange tank. Some players consider it to be the best heavy tank at its level, while others believe that this is not even close to the case due to certain shortcomings of this vehicle. Let's try to figure out what this model of American armored vehicles represents in the World of Tanks game today.
To begin with, we will have to be careful and not push forward, using tactics more suitable for tank destroyers. But everything will change after installing the TOP tower. With its help, this type of armored vehicle will become a real “king of clinches.” There are cases when, in a point-blank firefight, this Tier 8 tank managed to emerge victorious from duels with the IS-7 and Mouse. So remember that if used correctly, this tank can be a formidable opponent.
Around 1944, American military experts began thinking about creating a heavy tank, which in its dynamic characteristics would be similar to a medium-weight vehicle, but would have powerful armor and quite serious weapons. Without reinventing the wheel, it was decided to create a kind of hybrid of the heavy T29 and the medium Pershing. The new tank was named T32. Its development began in February 1945 and proceeded quite quickly, because most of the components were transferred to this model from other American tanks. Four test copies of the tank were created. In fact, even then it was clear that this model did not have much of a future, however, many original ideas were tried on this particular modification of the heavy American tank.
Now let's talk about the improvements to this machine. In the stock configuration, playing as T32 is very difficult. Its main advantage is a fantastically strong turret, but the stock version of this module does not have this quality. As a result, we are trying to hide near the base, shooting at the tanks from a long distance. But in the TOP, the vehicle is capable of working real miracles and pulling out hopelessly lost battles, destroying the best enemy tanks.
The transition from stock to TOP condition will not cause you any special problems. The fact is that most of the modules should have been learned on previous machines.
First, let's examine the T84E3A chassis. The stock chassis will not support all the necessary modules and additional equipment. Only a walkie-talkie and a TOP engine fit into it. So we spend our free experience on studying improved tracks.
Now let's move on to our main feature - the T119 tower. Just imagine, it not only has good tilt angles, but also has frontal armor of 298 centimeters. So, even the T30 or the BL-10 gun installed on the TOP Soviet anti-tank guns will not be able to penetrate it without knowing its weak points. The tower also provides a visibility of 460 meters, and its rotation speed is 28 degrees per second, which is a very respectable indicator.
That's all. We should have studied the improved T5E1 gun back at T29. However, like a walkie-talkie with a communication range of 850 meters, and a TOP engine with a capacity of 800 horsepower. Our maximum speed of 35 kilometers per hour is not so much, but a car with the best engine picks up and holds it quite confidently.
It is pleasant to play for the TOP T32 only if its owner clearly understands all the intricacies of controlling the vehicle, the weak points of enemy tanks, and the basic tactics. This model differs from other US heavy tanks in its smaller size, not very powerful guns, small size and very well armored turret. So it’s not worth playing on it the way they did on T29.
Let's look at how to best use the advantages of this armored vehicle. Our most important advantage is the strong frontal armor of the turret, which makes the T32 the king of war at very close ranges and in the clinch. Top and stock guns have an excellent rate of fire, which allows you to deal a decent amount of damage per minute. The ability to clinch is also a clear advantage of the machine. With skillful use of such point-blank combat, you can destroy anyone without suffering any special losses. The front of the hull is also well armored, although 120 millimeters is not much, but enemy armor-piercing shells regularly ricochet off the armor. Finally, the vehicle has excellent visibility, allowing you to be the first to inflict damage on the enemy.
The car has some shortcomings, and they are quite annoying. Thus, our set of weapons is clearly the worst of all heavy vehicles of the eighth level. The guns have low armor penetration rates, and in one of the add-ons they also reduced the damage of the TOP gun. They are also not very accurate. And the one-time damage is very small, and the DPM of a 90 mm gun is even greater than that of a TOP gun. In a word, confusion and a complete lack of choice. In general, the tank's hull is extremely poorly armored - everyone penetrates us, causing decent damage, damaging modules and injuring the crew.
Well, what we have is what we have, so we’ll have to use the tank to the maximum. The main secret is that you should definitely hide the body behind any shelter - it could be a car, a stone, or even an uneven terrain. We take cover, set up the turret and simply shoot at the enemy, they will be constantly distracted by us, although they will not be able to do anything about the powerful forehead armor of this module. But this is only part of the fun, and you can only fully experience the tank’s fantastic abilities in the clinch. But there are a few important points to remember here. Firstly, you should only enter the clinch with lone vehicles, otherwise you will be instantly destroyed by the second tank, shooting at the poorly protected sides and stern. Secondly, under no circumstances use this tactic with armored vehicles lower than the T32 itself (a classic example is the Object 704). This will not end well - you will be shot in a couple of shots. Thirdly, constantly do not let the tank drive away from you - the point of the clinch is to shoot point-blank at the tower, where you have more chances even against the Mouse. Remember about several vulnerable points on our turret, try to take care of the crew and the cannon itself, which is sometimes damaged in such a duel.
Now about the clinch with specific opponents. With the IS-4 everything is quite simple. We shoot under the turret, and if the opponent has moved away a little, then at the driver’s hatch. The armor there is thicker, but when we penetrate, we will inflict maximum damage and also slow down the speed of movement of the formidable tank. The IS-7 is a terrible opponent, it’s better not to fight it even in our favorite clinch. If you already collide in a duel, then hit the small hatch in the upper left part of the tower - this way you can regularly deal damage to this monster. In general, we have no chance, unless we can finish off the “wounded animal” with an accurate hit in the stern. With the “slipper” everything is simple - we shoot at the junction of the turret and the hull or at the commander’s cupola. With the "Mouse" everything will be simpler - we rub ourselves against it sideways and shoot at the sides, but so that the barrel of our gun is at right angles to the side of the heaviest tank in the game. If the allies do not engage in nonsense, then it is possible to destroy the most formidable and dangerous enemy tank without any losses.
We install improved ventilation, a rammer and aiming stabilizer, buy a repair kit, a first aid kit and improved oil before the battle - and go ahead and look for adventures; playing on the T32 can be very dynamic and interesting.
Review of video guide for the T32 tank World of Tanks
Review of the video guide for the T32 WOT tank - this is a heavy tank (TT) of the 8th level. T32 World of Tanks occupies a high position among all single-level TTs. He is better than anyone else in cities, as well as in open areas and is very useful when pushing a certain direction, like any .
This American TT is subject to research of various modules, after its acquisition: Chassis, two different Engines (which should have come from T29), Radio Station (from ), Turret and Weapons (from T29). In stock it is simply terrible, if you have free experience, then immediately upgrade the chassis and install a 105mm gun upgraded on the T29. Next is an excellent tower that will show how good the tank is in the clinch. The engine and radio are studied last. The penetration zones of T32 have changed from T29 (cardboard): sides, stern, forehead, but not the turret!
Pros:
- Fast gun reloading;
- Excellent turret resistance (armor indicator for the turret);
- Good viewing range;
- Good vertical aiming angle;
- Good frontal armor at an angle.
- Poor hull armor;
- Bad weapon;
- Low armor penetration;
- Low shooting accuracy;
- Low one-time damage (alpha strike).
- Crew:
- — Commander;
- Gunner;
- Radio operator;
- Charging;
- Charging;
- Driver mechanic.
The crew is similar to the previous level 7 tank T29, therefore, the crew can be retrained and transferred to this tank, which is what we are doing.
Video guide T32
Modules Additional modules. Characteristics and brief description
The weapons of this vehicle in the World of Tanks are very, very poor among all TT8th level and the reason for this is poor armor penetration and poor shooting accuracy. With this weapon you can easily throw enemy TTs and TTs into the stern, but not head-on. It is best used in clinching.
An important additional module (DM) is the “Medium-caliber gun rammer”. It is insignificant, but it will speed up the gun reload time and shooting accuracy, which is necessary for the T32. Also very useful DMs will be “Vertical Stabilizer” and “Improved Ventilation Class 3”. All this is also from our predecessor T29.
Mandatory set of consumables (consumables) for TT: “First Aid Kit”, “Repair Kit” and “Fire Extinguisher”.
Technique of playing T32
The tactics of playing T32 are very simple. Because This is a heavy tank, therefore, there is only one tactic - “Tanking”. Choose a direction and move forward. Preferences in open areas: slopes, hills, uneven areas, because We have excellent vertical aiming and excellent turret armor, which must be exposed when firing. Simply put, we hide the hull, stick out the turret, and shoot the opponents.
So we have an average TT, with poor weapons, poor armor penetration, poor accuracy, but with an excellent turret.
World of tanks video guide from JMR about the American T32 Tier 8 heavy tank. You will learn all the secrets of tactics, crew training and everything you need to successfully play the T32. This tank, like its T29, T30 and T34 brethren, is actually the embodiment of several attempts to modify the M26 Pershing, improving its armor and firepower.
The T29 follows in the upgrade tree, and immediately receives most of its top modules from it: radio, engine and gun. If you are not strapped for money and can afford to buy reinforced torsion bars until the chassis is researched, then from the first battles you will be driving an almost top-end car. By the way, before selling the T29, do not forget to remove the mentioned modules from it: radio, gun and engine. This will save you 115,000 credits.
Comparison of T32 performance characteristics with classmates
Let's compare the characteristics of the T32 with other tier 8 heavy tanks. The inherited engine will not cause us any inconvenience. The weight, which has decreased by almost 7 tons compared to its predecessor - 56.7 tons - gives good specific power and clearly increased dynamics compared to the T29. The tank reaches its maximum speed of 35 km/h very quickly. Along with the level, the number of hit points of the new car has expectedly increased. The total traverse speed of the chassis and turret remained the same. Fast opponents can spin us on occasion. Therefore, try to ensure that your tank is not left alone in an open field. And in general, as a rule, he, like other slow heavyweights, has nothing to do there.
But the characteristics of the inherited weapon have little to please us with. Yes, on the new vehicle the old gun still has the same excellent aiming speed and much greater accuracy, rate of fire, and DPM. But in comparison with your classmates, you may rightly think that this is not enough. The main drawback of our weapon is that it has one of the worst penetration rates at the level. Among heavyweights, only Soviet premiums are second to him. Playing on the T32, sometimes you will be quite envious of this tank's twin brother - the premium heavy T34, whose armor-piercing shells penetrate almost everything it sees. But don’t worry: the T34 driver is much more envious of your mobility, rate of fire, aiming and visibility, which, by the way, has also grown a little - now it’s top-level.
Well, what then? We looked at the performance characteristics of the tank. It's time to feel his armor.
How to penetrate a T32 tank penetration zones and vulnerable spots
First of all, we will test the T32 with one of the weakest shells that will be fired at us at the rendezvous, with an armor penetration of 112 mm. This tank is out of reach for them from the front. Damage to the hull is easily inflicted from the side, but the tower still cannot be penetrated. From behind, too, only the stern breaks through. If you shoot at this tank from above, it seems that it has a rather thin hull, incl. and in front. This, by the way, will allow you to deal T32 damage in the clinch to opponents with large vertical aiming angles.
The minimum penetration of a level 8 heavy beam - 170 mm - when firing at our tank in the forehead is only enough to penetrate the NLD and a machine gun nest. In addition, the 76 mm hull armor allows you to accurately tank damage from many guns in a diamond formation. A tower begins to break through from the side. Although, if possible, it is better to shoot in the body. Her armor can at times hold the projectiles of her classmates even from behind.
Finally, let’s see how the American’s armor will cope with gold shells from classmates and armor-piercing top guns. As required to be proven, the turret very often holds their shots at point-blank range.
So, the T32 doesn't have much space in the front where it can easily take damage. First of all, this is, of course, the NLD and the machine gun nest. It will be quite difficult for classmates to break through the upper frontal part. Especially if the T32 is in a diamond. Also, in a diamond shape, the tank can take damage from the tracks if you don’t turn the hull too much. The sides of the American are still thin and can be easily penetrated at right angles by any shells. And at the rear of the T32 the feed is most accessible.
T32 gun tests
When playing on the T32, despite the better dispersion characteristics of the top gun, at first you may get the impression that shooting with the same set of modules and with the same crew has become less accurate than on the previous tank, the T29. However, this is, of course, not the case. From 440 meters, almost every shot hits the enemy's silhouette. But the penetration of our shells is enough to cause damage only to not very armored tanks.
From 200 meters the gun shows very good accuracy, perhaps compared to older versions of the game. At this distance, we are not able to confidently target penetration points.
And the chance of a hit while moving, starting from version 086, is affected not so much by the accuracy of the weapon as by hand trembling and the size of the kick. As you can see, when shooting on the move at short distances with an auto sight, the T32 can show excellent results.
So, on the T32, the gun we inherited from the T29 actually demonstrates slightly better accuracy. Perhaps the deterioration in accuracy that seems to you at first is due to an increase in the mobility of the tank and a decrease in the level of skills of the crew, if, when transferring to a new tank, you did not train it for gold. Get used to the changed mixing after T29, if you feel it at all, you'll get used to it pretty quickly. As for using this tank, the previous American T29 heavy has already taught you the characteristic style of play on classic American TTs. And he introduced me to convenient positions on various maps, to playing from the tower, from various shelters, peaks, hills and slides, and to choosing the optimal distance. After all, at long and medium range we will not always be able to inflict damage. And on the nearby T32 it’s difficult to hide your rather delicate carcass.
Combat tactics on T32
Battles on the T32 are like playing in a slightly more comfortable tank against much stronger opponents. However, the potential of even T29 is very high, and by the end of leveling T32 you are unlikely to worry about seeing level 10 tanks in teams. Skillful use of our tank's armor, as well as a small supply of premium shells, will make encounters with them quite dangerous not only for you. However, higher level enemies aren't just more powerful guns and thicker armor. This is also an increase in the average experience of their drivers. You will more often encounter players who are capable of T32 damage in any situation.
Many guides to American heavyweights in this series say that the clinch is one of the best tactics for them. Armor tests have shown that not every gun can actually penetrate the T32 turret. However, our tank can be dismantled in close combat by quite a few opponents who have sufficient vertical aiming angles (primarily the Americans and the British), as well as players who, if necessary, load gold. Therefore, when entering a clinch, be prepared to be attacked by PGD. Better yet, as long as possible, just don’t show your body to the enemy.
As we have already said, compared to the T29, the tank is quite mobile. The movement to the other flank on T32, which has begun ahead of time, may well end on time and achieve its goals. On occasion, he can also play on the swing. If the enemy is focused on attacking allies, we can afford to roll out, take a shot and go back behind cover.
T32 can be part of an attacking group, but should not tank damage with its hull or expose the sides of the tower. He can also play from the second line - the sides of any opponents will be excellent targets for his guns. From favorable positions where you don’t have to expose your hull to gunfire, it, like its predecessor, is quite capable of holding the line even against superior enemy forces.
T32 equipment: equipment and crew skills
And now a few words about the T32 configuration. The crew of this tank must transfer from the T29, having completely pumped out or upgraded the first set of skills: the sixth sense for the commander and repair for all other tank crews. The second set is worth pumping out the Combat Brotherhood: it will slightly improve all the characteristics of the tank, except, of course, armor and armor penetration. Next, we study the following individual skills: visibility for the commander and radio operator, smooth rotation of the turret for the gunner, and smooth movement for the driver. One loader should be equipped with a non-contact ammo rack, and the second one should be equipped with your choice: from desperate to camouflaged.
The equipment is standard: fire extinguisher, repair kit and first aid kit. And depending on your preferred play style, fill the slots for equipment, in addition to the obligatory gun rammer, with modules from the following list: stabilizer, drives, ventilation, optics and stereo tube. If you find yourself in close combat more often, take a stabilizer and ventilation. If you play more at medium and long distances, then, for example, ventilation and optics, or even horns. The T32's characteristics, which are affected by the installed equipment, provide a fairly comfortable game even without additional improvements. Therefore, you cannot make a mistake with your choice. This tank will fit everything.
With this video, the World of Tanks review of the US T32 heavy tank has come to an end.
2-05-2016, 14:01
Hello, dear friends and site guests! Now we will talk about a rather controversial vehicle, an American heavy tank of the eighth level, in front of you is the T32 guide.
Many people have already passed it a long time ago in pursuit of the top American, some have yet to do so, however, almost everyone will agree that this tank can hardly be called truly strong and now you will find out why, because we will make a detailed review of the T32 tank.
Performance characteristics of the T32 tank
As usual, first we will look at the characteristics of a good T32 tank in their generalized form, and at first everything looks pretty good. First of all, I would like to say that we have a good margin of safety and excellent visibility, which is important.
Now it’s worth diluting the pleasant picture a little and saying that the T-32 American tank has frankly weak mobility. Of course, there are slower cars, but on the whole we move reluctantly, our top speed is not a record one, and we can’t turn around very well on the spot, a real drag.
Finally, let's move on to booking. There’s nothing special to say about the body; we can easily fit into any projection, only the VLD can sometimes throw something off. However, there is one highlight in the T32 TTX - this is the turret, whose forehead armor, given the large gun mantlet, is so serious that even many level 10 tanks cannot penetrate us here. By the way, our commander’s hatch is small and it’s quite difficult to aim it, which is also good news.
gun
Now we will touch on what we talked about at the very beginning, the inconsistency of this American. The thing is that, despite its excellent turret armor and other advantages, the T32 tank received its gun from its predecessor, a level seven vehicle.
For this reason, we have almost identical indicators. The armor penetration of a basic shell is not enough to fight against level 9-10 tanks and carrying gold with you is vital. Although the one-time damage is not bad, the DPM of about 1850 looks simply ridiculous compared to other TT classmates.
If you look at the other parameters of the gun, then we have a large spread, it needs to be straightened out with equipment and perks, but the gun aligns normally normally. The only really significant plus is that the T32 World of Tanks has excellent elevation angles (10 degrees down and 20 degrees up).
Advantages and disadvantages
Of course, the T32 WoT tank has both strengths and weaknesses, this can be seen from what was written above, and now we will summarize the first results and break everything down point by point.
Pros:
The strongest tower, especially in the frontal projection;
Excellent vertical aiming angles;
Good review.
Minuses:
Low armor penetration;
Cardboard case;
Low DPM;
Poor mobility and maneuverability;
Poor gun accuracy;
Large dimensions.
Equipment for T32 World of Tanks
As many have already guessed, for T32 equipment is the most important element of gameplay. Only by choosing it correctly, we can at least slightly increase our damage per minute and increase our accuracy parameters, so the choice will be as follows:
, , .
Of course, if you wish, you can install a tank on the T-32, replacing it with the last option, but we already have a very good overview, so such a choice is somewhat doubtful; it is better to stick to the initial option.
Crew training
Upgrading the skills of the crew is another effective way to improve the performance of our tank and increase the comfort of playing on it. It is worth upgrading perks for the crew on T32 WoT, taking into account its strengths and weaknesses; our main task in this case is to level out the main shortcomings as much as possible.

Equipment for T32
In order to spend as little silver as possible and lose less money, equipment for the T32 tank is selected as follows: , , . However, for a more comfortable game and confident tanking, it is better to take premium consumables. The last option can be safely replaced with , our strand burns quite rarely, and a performance boost has never been superfluous.
In general, regarding equipment, it is better to always install a premium fire extinguisher, because you don’t burn in every battle, and in the event of a fire, such a choice will not allow you to send the T-32 American tank to the hangar or will save precious strength points, because our reaction is not always enough to accept quick solution.
Tactics for playing T32
To understand how to play on this machine, you can scour the Internet and watch more than one video review of the T32 tank. Thus, you can find a large number of guides, introductions and replays in which experienced players will demonstrate all the strengths and weaknesses of this American using the example of specific battles.
However, now we will look at what the combat tactics are on the T32 and talk about the main intricacies of playing on this heavy weight.
First of all, it is worth understanding that the main task is to use the strengths of the machine. For this reason, the best option would be to play from the tower. Try to take the most advantageous positions, use the terrain, showing only the armored turret, taking a shot and rolling back a little.
At the same time, we should not forget about artillery, due to our large dimensions and slowness, we become a tasty morsel for enemy artillery and often, taking the right position, this is the only way to smoke a T32 tank from a secluded place.
Do not neglect gold shells, it is, of course, expensive, but often this is the only way to achieve good results, inflict a record amount of damage and drag out the battle. If we find ourselves at the bottom of the list, this advice becomes the rule; the T-32’s BB gun penetration is decidedly not enough for high-level opponents.
Hi all! Today I will give you a couple of tips on how you can play and win at T32 in random.
First, a few words about what he was like in real life. So, the T32 is a heavily armored modification of the Pershing. Work on the tank began in February 1945. The need for it was due to the fact that the armor of the serial M26 Pershing tank did not provide the necessary protection against German 88mm guns. The armament was considered quite sufficient to achieve the set goals. American engineers came to two possible solutions to this problem: strengthening the Pershing's armor, or developing a completely new heavy tank with maximum unification of components with the Pershing. Thanks to the second option, the T-32 appeared.
The similarity is visible to the naked eye. Not everyone who has not played these tanks will be able to tell them apart. T-32 from above.
Due to unification, work on the tank proceeded very quickly: the engine and chassis were taken from the T-29, the chassis with the addition of one roller was from a Pershing. On the first two tanks, the frontal part of the hull has a maximum thickness of 127 mm at an angle of 54°. was cast, on the next two - they were called T34E1 - rolled, welded. The armament was to consist of a 90 mm T15E2 cannon with a maximum initial armor-piercing projectile speed of 1143 m/s and two 7.62 mm machine guns.
The first two experimental T32s were ready at the beginning of 1946, and at the beginning of the summer they were joined by two T32E1s. As a result, it was on the T32 that the EX-120 cross-drive transmission was first tested, which, after modifications under the name CD-850, became standard for many American tanks. In fact, testing individual components for the future generation of American armored vehicles became the main task of testing the T32. Actually, by the end of the Second World War, neither the T32 nor the T29-T30-T34 were in time, and, therefore, had no prospects for mass production...
Just admire this handsome guy
Well, now let's move on to analyzing the T32 in the game. What sets us apart from other TT8? Nothing specific, for the most part we are average in everything, except for tower reservations, of course. We are not the fastest, not the most armored, the only thing that really lags behind is our gun, but more on that later. But as a counterweight to the cannon, we have an incredibly strong turret with excellent visibility of 400 meters, which at level eight can be considered an excellent indicator. Our tank feels equally good on the defensive with slow and armored tanks, and on the offensive with dynamic assault vehicles, and even if it loses to both of them in their niches, however, using its advantages wisely, you can show yourself quite well in any possible situation in a random environment . If I had to describe the T32 in one word, I would say CONVENIENCE. I have never seen a more comfortable tank, it drives well - the maximum speed is 35 km/h, you can just deal damage in buckets, the gun has a great UVN: -10...+20°, and by hiding the hull behind cover and showing only the turret to the enemy, you don’t have to worry at all about receiving damage even when playing at ten levels. The only disappointment, as I said, is the gun - having a penetration of 198 mm and an accuracy of 0.42, without gold, getting involved in an open firefight even with tanks of the same level at a long distance can be fraught.
The good news is that it has a pretty good aiming time and reload speed, which makes it possible to shoot quite quickly, at least much faster than the IS-3. Such a weapon forces us into close and medium combat - without sufficient penetration or accuracy, at long distances we often have eternal problems with penetrating everyone and everything.
Now let's talk about an equally important part of the tank - the armor. So, we are far from the most armored TT 8. However, with all this, we have something to repel shells with.
The image shows that even if the NLD is not visible, even some same-level opponents will penetrate us at a right angle in the VLD, let alone the lower armor plate, which everyone always sews. This forces us to play with a diamond shape, exposing the armor at sharper angles. And this leads to the next question - side armor. On some vehicles, it is not worth turning around to open the weak side; weak armor dooms such tanks to be immediately sent to the hangar. On others, like the IS-4, this is the only way to do it - it will be extremely difficult to punch it into the side at a good angle. In our case, the situation is somewhat different - despite the seemingly very mediocre side armor of the T32, targeting it will be an almost impossible task even at extremely close range. The fact is that most of the hull is hidden by a caterpillar, and it is also a screen that does not allow shells to pass through and does not allow them to easily penetrate us into the side. Let's finish with the hull and move on to the turret - namely, it is the so-called “feature” of our tank. The T32 has an INCREDIBLY strong turret; it is so well armored that very often it cannot penetrate even a level ten tank. Just think about these numbers - a screen with 298 mm of armor, behind which there is also a mask consisting of 101.6 mm. True, if they hit our cheeks, guns with good penetration will still be able to penetrate us, but targeting them is, again, extremely difficult. The sides of the turret are also quite well armored; single-level tanks only penetrate them at right angles, while others also ricochet very often. Of course, there is also a typical American weak point - the commander’s turret, but it is so small that it is not always possible to hit it even in a clinch. And yet it is worth understanding that, despite the way I described everything, we will still often be penetrated. Therefore, you should not always get into trouble, and try to stay behind the backs of stronger allies, supporting them with fire. By the way, on the T32 the technique of clinch is excellent - the tank is not the tallest, some cannot even lower the gun to the level of the VLD. The most vulnerable places in this case will be the commander's turret and the machine gun nest, but they are still quite small to be consistently hit and penetrated. To make it more difficult for opponents to aim, it is worth moving chaotically in the clinch forward-back-left-right so that he simply does not have time to align normally and makes mistakes. What helps us in the clinch are our excellent aiming angles and a strong turret, which is what inexperienced opponents will shoot at first.
Next to your brother
Next, let's move directly to playing T32 in random mode. The very first thing we start the battle with is the choice of direction; in the case of the T32, everything is not too clear: being a heavy tank, we have good mobility and a whole set of positive qualities that allow us to both hold the defense and conduct an active offensive. In the case of T32, it is impossible to give clear recommendations on where to go at the beginning of the battle; the composition of the enemy teams influences this too much. You have to decide for yourself, it’s worth staying a little at the base and watching how the allies disperse. If something happens, we will be able to support both the TT and fight with the ST. However, you should try to give preference to places where you can hide a not very powerful body and show only the tower to the enemy. By the way, it’s worth noting that when you get to the bottom of the list, you should ONLY play through the tower: over opponents of a higher level, we have no advantages at all other than it. The image shows typical positions for playing T32 through the tower.
If we play this style, it will be very difficult for the enemy to damage us. There were cases that PTs of levels 9-10 fired land mines in order to achieve at least something.
If you have the opportunity to play, showing only the tower to the enemy, then you should choose a position so that you can “tank the gusli.” For those who don’t know, now I’ll explain what this means: no matter how stupid it may seem, we press our foreheads, for example, against the wall of a house (a stone, the corpse of a tank, etc.). in this situation we cannot shoot at the enemy, but he is also helpless in this situation. To fire, we drive back slightly turning sideways so that when shooting at us, the enemy sees only the side at an acute angle and the turret, and the hits will fall on the caterpillar. If it is not clear, again you can see everything in the images below.
In this case, this method will be even more effective; the entire hull is hidden by a mountain of stone, and only the impenetrable tower is exposed to enemy fire.
You can do the same, but with your back turned to the shelter. What does this give us? The tower is located further from the cover, they still cannot penetrate us into it, but the hull is completely hidden behind the cover, the most they can do to us is to knock down the caterpillar, and, in a rare case, to penetrate the side, but this will happen very infrequently.
In these positions, the tracks will almost always “eat up” damage, including even from level ten tanks. You shouldn’t pay attention to shooting them down, unless, of course, you are under artillery fire: without breaking through once, most likely, and with subsequent shots, the enemy will not be able to penetrate you in this position. This scheme is very effective because it forces the enemy to waste his time on you, at which time you and your allies can achieve much greater results.
We talked about booking, taking positions, now I’ll talk about playing in a platoon and without, at the bottom and at the top of the list.
Considering the versatility of the tank, when playing in a platoon, first of all we need to adapt to our platoon members. For example, when playing together with IS3, it would be wiser to go on the offensive with them, but when playing with a thick-headed slow PT, vice versa. This is what’s good about the T32 - we can adapt to any situation, replace the tank that is needed at a given moment on a given section of the map: highlight the artillery, take up defense, and push the direction.
When playing solo, you can choose the direction depending on personal preferences and the terrain (however, playing through the tower will be a priority). It is also very important to monitor the map and, if necessary, provide assistance to allies in another direction; fortunately, speed allows you to quickly change position.
As for our position at the top and bottom of the list, we can say the following: if, when we get to the top, the T32 is good in all qualities and can, with the proper skill, quite calmly dismantle single-level tanks one after another, then when we find ourselves at the bottom, we literally find ourselves in a world of pain. Here our armor doesn’t save us from anyone, the gun too often shoots in the wrong place, and armor penetration is also categorically lacking: here it’s not worth talking about causing damage to the TT, we should be able to penetrate the CT – and that’s a holiday. Of course, in some cases, gold can help, but it does not always save. But even in these battles there is something that the T32 is good at - its turret can withstand blows with dignity, and by showing your opponents only this it is quite possible to get unpenetrated time after time. And being in cover, there is a good chance to adequately resist TT10, of course, if there is a decent amount of gold, otherwise we simply will not be able to do anything to his forehead. In such situations, one should not allow rapprochement; it is worth knocking down the harp and calling for help from allies with a more powerful weapon.
Well, in the end I would like to say a few words about the crew and equipment.
From the equipment I recommend the following assembly:
Standard equipment: first aid kit, fire extinguisher, repair kit. I don’t recommend using gasoline, as the tank catches fire quite often.
With the skills of the crew members, tips will be as follows:
We set the first skill for everyone to repair, when we reach 100% we reset the commander and set the sixth sense. Further like this:
To the commander - repair, jack of all trades, eagle eye.
To the gunner - smooth rotation of the turret, master gunsmith, sniper.
Mechanical driver - smooth running, cleanliness and order, master of ramming.
Radio operator - repeater, inventor, fire extinguishing.
Loaders – Non-contact ammo rack, desperate, fire extinguishing.
Well, then you can stick everyone in the military fraternity, or finish off firefighting.
To summarize, I would like to say the following: T32 is a worthy representative of the TT8. You get real pleasure while playing it, and after opening the M103 you don’t want to sell it at all. In addition, the tank is in demand in company battles, which is also a big plus. We can safely say that the T32 is the most versatile heavy tank, if not in general, then definitely at the eighth level. It may also appeal to those who like pronounced properties in tanks – you won’t find such a strong turret anywhere else. In general, if you want to pump out the T110E5, you should not be afraid of the T32 in any case, but rather, on the contrary, you may well want to get it into your hangar as soon as possible. This is where I end, and wish everyone successful battles on this wonderful tank!
