The first step in preparing “Nest” pasta with minced meat is preparing the meat filling. To make the meat filling more tender, when grinding in a meat grinder, add a piece of soft white bread soaked in milk. Mix thoroughly.

Minced meat nests with cheese, tomatoes and egg in the oven
Today I want to bring to your attention a festive and everyday recipe. These are meat nests made from minced meat stuffed with tomatoes and cheese. The oven-baked dish is very tasty and beautiful. It will be able to please the eye and satisfy the gastronomic preferences of both the ordinary eater and the true gourmet. Try making these meat “cheesecakes” yourself, I’m sure your guests will be delighted.
Let's decide on the main ingredients:
- minced pork – 700 grams;
- onions – 1 large onion;
- chicken egg – 2 pieces;
- cheese – 150 grams;
- sour cream – 1 tablespoon;
- tomato – 1 piece;
- salt – 1 teaspoon;
- pepper mixture – 1 teaspoon.
How to cook minced meat nests in the oven
The meat component of the dish is minced pork. It can be easily replaced with pork-beef or chicken-pork.
Peel the onion, cut into large pieces and chop in a food processor. If you make minced meat from pieces of meat, then the onion can also be passed through a meat grinder.
Add chopped onion, salt, a mixture of peppers and a chicken egg to the minced meat.
Mix everything well.
Break the egg into a separate plate.
Add a tablespoon of sour cream and grated cheese.
Add salt to taste to the sauce and mix everything.
Cut one large tomato into slices 4-5 millimeters thick.
Divide the minced meat in a bowl into equal parts with a knife, and then form balls of the same size from each. From each piece we make a meat cheesecake with sides 1 centimeter high.
We put a slice of tomato into the nests.
Put cheese sauce on the tomato.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook the dish at a temperature of 200-220 degrees for 45 minutes. Meat protein will leak out of the raw minced meat onto the baking sheet and curl, so the baking sheet should be covered with baking parchment.
Place the finished nests on portioned plates and serve with fresh vegetables or any other side dish.
The oven-baked dish turns out very juicy and tender.
In principle, due to the fact that the filling contains a fairly thick piece of tomato, no additional garnish is required. Decide for yourself what to serve with meat cheesecake baked with tomato and cheese.

Pasta nests with minced meat recipe with photo in the oven
I really love this dish. “Nests” of noodles with minced meat are a “festive” version of regular navy-style pasta. It's easy and quick to do, but looks much prettier!
The composition of the “nests” of noodles with minced meat includes:
- 8 pcs. “nests” of noodles (I have so many that go into a deep pan);
- 400 gr. minced meat;
- 1 large onion;
- Salt, pepper, seasonings - to taste (I added nutmeg, a mixture of peppers and wine vinegar);
- Butter or vegetable oil - for frying;
- 8 tbsp. sour cream;
- 50 gr. semi-hard cheese.
Method for preparing “nests” of noodles with minced meat:
I had these “sockets”, made by Makfa. They are quite large. If you have “nests” from another company, then adjust the amount of filling yourself, as they may differ in size.
Peel the onions, chop finely and fry in oil until golden brown.
Add minced meat to the onion...
...and fry until done. During the frying process, you can add a little water to the pan to make the minced meat more tender and soft. We also add salt, pepper and other seasonings to taste. Transfer the finished filling to a plate.
“Nests” are best cooked in a deep frying pan - there they will stand in one row and are easier to remove than from a pan. If you cook the noodles in the same frying pan in which you fried the minced meat, it is advisable to wash the dishes from grease. Otherwise, the “sockets” will be smeared with oil and will fall apart more. So, pour salted water into the frying pan, put the “nests” (it is advisable that the water completely covers them), close the lid...
... and cook for 5-7 minutes from the moment of boiling.
Using a small slotted spoon or spatula, carefully transfer the boiled pieces onto a baking sheet greased with butter. You can hold it with a fork at the center of the “nest” to make it more convenient.
Place the filling in the center. And very tight! At first it will seem that there is very little space there, but if you carefully press the minced meat into the center of the “nest”, the noodles will rise and “stretch” in height. And you get these kind of barrels stuffed with meat filling.
Place a tablespoon of sour cream on the top of each “nest” and place in a very hot oven for 2 minutes.
Then we take it out, sprinkle it with cheese, grated on a fine grater, and put it back in the oven until the cheese is browned.
The finished “nests” of noodles with minced meat are ready and can be served.

Pasta nests with minced meat in the oven
To prepare this dish, you will need special pasta that has Italian roots - nests (tagliatelle). These pasta products can be bought in almost any store; in fact, they are a type of noodles that are rolled into a circle. The dish, despite its original presentation, is very easy to prepare and does not require any special skills from you. This is not the first time I have prepared such nests of pasta with minced meat in the oven and I would like to note that it is really very tasty! Pasta must first be boiled and then filled with filling, in this case it will be minced meat. The highlight of this recipe will be the tomato-sour cream sauce in which the nests will be baked. Thanks to him, the dish turns out not only nourishing and tasty, but also very tender and juicy! Let’s finish all this off with a cheese “cap” to give the nests a more appetizing and elegant look. This dish will not only be a luxurious dinner idea for the whole family, but will also be a great idea for a holiday table. I recommend trying it! A step-by-step recipe with photos is presented below.
Ingredients:
- 12 pasta nests.
- 500 grams of minced meat.
- 2 onions.
- 1 medium sized carrot.
- 2 tbsp. spoons of tomato paste or sauce.
- 2 tbsp. spoons of sour cream of any fat content.
- 150 grams of hard cheese.
- mayonnaise to taste.
- salt and spices to taste.
- vegetable oil.
- Number of servings: 12.
How to cook pasta nests with minced meat in the oven:
For the filling, combine minced meat (I have beef + pork), one chopped onion and add salt and spices of your choice.
Then boil the pasta. To do this, you need to bring salted water to a boil, and then put our pasta nests on the bottom of the pan. We boil the nests in parts so that they lie in one layer. As soon as the pasta is placed in the water, you need to move it a little with a spatula so that the pasta does not stick to the bottom, and after boiling, cook it for no more than 3-5 minutes, depending on the manufacturer, until al dente. You need to pour in enough water to cover the pasta by 1-2 cm.
We take out the finished nests and put them in a baking dish, which must be greased with oil.
For the sauce, fry grated carrots and diced onions. There is no need to fry too much, just enough to soften the vegetables. Then add tomato paste, sour cream and cook everything together for another 2-3 minutes.
Then pour in 1.5 cups of water, I use the water left after cooking the pasta. Add salt to taste, you can add spices, bring everything to a boil and turn it off. The sauce is ready!
Now we prepare our dish for baking. Fill the pasta nests with minced meat, slightly pushing the middle apart, and press the minced meat with a fork. The nests can be planted either separately from each other or in an even layer, at your discretion.
for cutlet mass:
- minced chicken – 300 g,
- onion – 1 head,
- egg – 1 pc.,
- raw potatoes – 1 pc.,
- garlic – 1 large clove,
- white bread 2-3 pieces + 0.5 cups of milk to soak it,
- salt - to taste,
For filling:
- boiled eggs – 2 pcs.,
- hard cheese – 50 g,
- sour cream – 2 tablespoons,
- salt - optional
- sunflower oil for greasing the mold.
Cooking process:
We clean and wash the vegetables. Cut the crust off the white bread and fill the crumb with milk. For cutlets, it is not at all necessary to take a fresh loaf; a 3-day-old loaf will also work (unless, of course, there is mold on it).
Place the eggs in a saucepan, fill with cold water, add some salt, and send to cook. 7 minutes after boiling, place under cold water to cool.
Turn on the oven at 200 degrees.
When all the components are prepared in advance, it is easier and faster to mix the mass. To do this, add three potatoes to the minced meat on the finest grater, an onion on a medium grater, and pass the garlic through a press.
Place softened and squeezed white bread there, beat in an egg and add salt. Mix thoroughly. It doesn't work well with a spoon, do it with your hands.
In a separate bowl, combine boiled, cooled and finely chopped eggs, sour cream and grated cheese.
Mix the filling. If your cheese is salty enough, you don’t need to add salt. However, if you still find it a bit bland, add a pinch of salt.
Line a baking dish with baking paper and grease with oil. We roll the flatbreads from the cutlet mass, place them in the mold, and make small indentations in the middle.
Place the filling on top. Calculate so that each “nest” receives an equal portion of the cheese and egg mass.
Place the minced meat nests in the oven for 35-40 minutes, bake at a temperature of 190-200 degrees.
This dish can be an ordinary everyday dish, or it can decorate a holiday table.
Bon appetit!
They combine an appetizer, a side dish, and a full meal at the same time. Can be served with sauces: creamy, milk, white, red, wine; with gravy sprinkled on top with a cheese crust. They can be prepared in portions or in a general baking dish.
The five most commonly used ingredients in oven nest recipes are:
Classic nests in the oven - made from pasta
You can buy specially designed pasta nests in the store. Before baking, immerse them in boiling salted water for a few minutes. However, there are species that do not require such preliminary heat treatment. The nests can be made from wheat or rice flour. Then they are lowered onto a baking sheet - one nest for each eater. The filling is placed in the center, which can be anything: mushroom, meat, vegetable. Sprinkle with cheese and bake.
Meat nests in the oven are the second most popular dish of this type
Minced meat, laid out in the form of a nest, stuffed with vegetables, cheese, and eggs, is a frequent guest at the holiday feast of many Russian residents. The dish resembles a cutlet in taste and texture, but the recipes for meat nests in the oven are so varied that the tastes are very different. They are baked in the same way as pasta, except that they take more time.
Five of the lowest calorie nest recipes in the oven:
Potato nests in the oven - the best dinner after a long day of work
A quick and easy way to make potato nests in the oven is to use leftover mashed potatoes from a previous meal. If you want a snack that is beautiful, but without any hassles, you can put the puree in a baking dish, give it the shape of a nest, tracing the edges with a fork. Drive a raw egg inside (you can use a quail egg if the nest is small) and bake until the whites harden. To ensure that the edges of the puree are covered with a nice crust, grease it with butter or the same egg. A simple but original dinner is ready.

The kids will love this dish. Pasta nests with minced meat look so beautiful and interesting on a plate, I really want to try them. Kids will definitely love this original preparation of pasta. And adults are unlikely to refuse to try them. The dish is tasty and spicy, very nutritious.
It is important when buying pasta nests in a store to pay attention to the label. They must be made from durum wheat. You can buy wide or thin noodle nests. During cooking, try not to overcook the dish. The pasta should turn out al dente and should not lose its shape or fall apart at the end of cooking. Minced meat is used as filling. If desired, the list of ingredients can be supplemented, for example, with mushrooms, pre-fried in a frying pan, and vegetables. You can also make delicious nests with minced fish. The broth for preparing nests with minced meat must be prepared in advance. You can cook it from meat or poultry. If you don’t have time to tinker with it, you can dissolve a bouillon cube in boiled warm water.

What are "pasta nests"?
Recently, spaghetti of an original shape has appeared on our shelves: long, chaotically twisted into rings, they resemble bird’s nests. In the country of origin - Italy - they are called “tagliatelle” or “tagliolini”, and in English-speaking countries - “spaghetti nets” (“pasta in nests") or "angel hair". They are said to have been invented by Renaissance cooks inspired by the long locks of Lucrezia Borgia. A variety of dishes can be prepared from this type of vermicelli, and recipes will be given below. However, the main secret lies in cooking the products. After all, if you simply throw them into boiling water, the elastic rings will unwind, and the result will be ordinary noodles.
How to cook nest pasta correctly?
To maintain this interesting shape of noodles, you need to cook it either in a frying pan with high edges or in a pan with a wide bottom. Pour in a little water so that when we put the spaghetti in it, it completely covers them. We wait until it starts boiling, add salt and reduce the heat. Carefully, using a slotted spoon, lower the nest bottom down. We do not place the packages in a bunch, so that if possible they do not touch each other. The noodles cannot be stirred. After the time indicated on the package has expired - after all, tagliatelle twigs come in different thicknesses, so the cooking time is different - they are taken out with a slotted spoon, carefully washed with warm water and then cooked depending on the recipe.
Pasta “nests” with Bolognese sauce
Interestingly, in the homeland of this sauce, in Bologna, tagliolini is served with it. The noodles are boiled separately, and the dressing for them is also separate. Finally, place the scrolls in the frying pan with the Bolognese and let them simmer a little under the lid.
Stuffed pasta nests
Since we managed to preserve such an interesting pasta shape, we need to put some kind of filling in this cozy bird’s lair. You can come up with a variety of fillings: meat, cheese, fish, vegetables. The algorithm of actions is as follows. The rings are boiled, washed and placed on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. The raw filling is placed in the cavity. It should consist of foods that cook quickly. So a piece of meat will not work - you need ground beef, pork or chicken mixed with sautéed onions. Sprinkle the balls with grated cheese on top of it and pour the sauce into the pan until the “nests” of pasta are completely drowned in it. Place everything in the oven (160-200 C) until fully cooked. Before serving, sprinkle the dish with fresh herbs.
“Nests” of pasta with filling
Finely chop the chicken fillet and fry with onions until cooked. Place the boiled tagliatelle in a greased pan and place a piece of butter into the indentations. Place the meat on top and a piece of tomato on top. Scramble the egg, pour it over the nests, sprinkle generously with grated cheese and place in the oven to bake until the cheese forms a golden “cap”. Traditionally sprinkle the finished dish with chopped herbs and garlic. The filling can be made vegetarian: instead of chicken, use mushrooms (fried with onions and a few crushed walnut kernels). Then it is more appropriate to supplement the cheese with sour cream.
