An excerpt characterizing Kulibayev, Dinara Nursultanovna
“I think the same as you,” I smiled.“And when I saw that you were carried away, I immediately tried to catch up with you!” But I tried and tried and nothing worked... until she came. – Stella pointed her pen at Veya. – I am very grateful to you for this, girl Veya! – out of her funny habit of addressing two people at once, she thanked sweetly.
“This “girl” is two million years old...” I whispered in my friend’s ear.
Stella's eyes widened in surprise, and she herself remained standing in a quiet stupor, slowly digesting the stunning news...
“Huh, two million?.. Why is she so small?..” Stella gasped, stunned.
- Yes, she says that they live a long time... Maybe your essence is from the same place? – I joked. But Stella apparently didn’t like my joke at all, because she immediately became indignant:
- How can you?!.. I’m just like you! I’m not “purple” at all!..
I felt funny and a little ashamed - the little girl was a real patriot...
As soon as Stella appeared here, I immediately felt happy and strong. Apparently our common, sometimes dangerous, “floor walks” had a positive effect on my mood, and this immediately put everything in its place.
Stella looked around in delight, and it was clear that she couldn’t wait to bombard our “guide” with a thousand questions. But the little girl heroically held back, trying to seem more serious and mature than she really was...
– Please tell me, girl Veya, where can we go? – Stella asked very politely. Apparently, she was never able to get her head around the idea that Veya could be so “old”...
“Wherever you want, since you’re here,” the “star” girl calmly answered.
We looked around - we were drawn in all directions at once!.. It was incredibly interesting and we wanted to see everything, but we understood perfectly well that we could not stay here forever. Therefore, seeing how Stella fidgeted in place with impatience, I invited her to choose where we should go.
- Oh, please, can we see what kind of “living creatures” you have here? – unexpectedly for me, Stella asked.
Of course, I would like to watch something else, but there was nowhere to go - I offered her to choose...
We found ourselves in something like a very bright forest, bursting with colors. It was absolutely amazing!.. But for some reason I suddenly thought that I wouldn’t want to stay in such a forest for a long time... It was, again, too beautiful and bright, a little oppressive, not at all like our soothing and fresh, green and light earthly forest.
It's probably true that everyone should be where they truly belong. And I immediately thought about our sweet “star” baby... How she must have missed her home and her native and familiar environment!.. Only now I was able to understand at least a little how lonely she must have been in our imperfect and at times dangerous Earth...

Nazarbayev was unlucky with his sons-in-law
A new scandal has broken out in Kazakhstan related to the relatives of the country’s president, Nursultan Nazarbayev. While a criminal case has already been opened against the eldest son-in-law of the President of Kazakhstan, Rakhat Aliyev, which has jeopardized the career of the “heiress” Dariga Nazarbayeva, criminal clouds have gathered over the middle son-in-law. Dinara Nazarbayeva's husband Timur Kulibayev is suspected of involvement in the murder of Altynbek Sarsenbayev.

First on the list is Timur Kulibayev, followed by Ablyazov and Subkhanberdin
Before the passions around the fake “Godfather-in-law” had died down, we were presented with a new sensation. True, this time there is no particular need to guess about the possible authorship, since what we called a forecast appeared, but, rather, it is still a version, on the Internet site kaztoday.ru, which is considered to be the media resource of the former presidential son-in-law.

Secrets of the Nazarbayev Family
Many people talk about the “chemolganization” of the power structures of Kazakhstan. For example, the support of the regime - the security forces - is headed by Mukhtar Altyn-baev (Minister of Defense) and Nurtai Abykaev (Chairman of the National Security Committee). These fellow villagers of Nazarbayev, of course, were selected not according to their professional qualities, but according to the principle “if they raced sheep together, they are our own.”
The role of the Nazarbayev family in the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is much higher than that of some “Tore”, “Kozha” and Chemolgan people. Nazarbayev has long seized the powers given to him for the benefit of himself and his relatives.
Nazarbayev’s wife, Sara Alpysovna (b. 1941), heads the largest “charitable” Bobek Foundation, which periodically gifts trinkets to those who are especially loyal to the regime. The media controlled by Nazarbayev tirelessly write about the Foundation she heads and her trips back and forth abroad.
As you know, Nazarbayev has three daughters. It is clear that all of them are “built-in” into the state system of “independent” Kazakhstan.
The eldest daughter, Dariga (b. 1963) is the president of Khabar CJSC, the main state television channel that daily brainwashes the impoverished population of Kazakhstan. The daughter’s television channel constantly praises the “indisputable” merits of Nazar-bai in the matter of “democratization,” privatization and the transition to “market feudalism.” Dariga also owns (together with B.A. Berezovsky) a company that places television advertisements for “new Kazakhs” on the only and most popular Russian television channel in Kazakhstan, ORT. Experts estimate that the revenue from this advertising is about $30 million a year. Funds are transferred to offshore accounts abroad. (“Evening Omsk”, 02/09/2000).
Dariga's husband, Rakhat Aliyev, is the Vice Minister of State Revenue. Head of the largest company "Sugar Center". (It is noteworthy that sugar prices in Kazakhstan are 20-30% higher than in Russia). He is also involved in the sale of alcoholic beverages (to get shepherds drunk), while at the same time he heads the tax police of Kazakhstan. It was with “independence” and kinship with Nazar-bai that Aliyev quickly succeeded in his military career and is now a general of the KNB. The so-called “National Security Committee” is the main punitive and repressive body that carries out pogroms and bans on Russian centers and organizations in Kazakhstan.
The most sensational one is the acquisition by Aliyev in May 1999, through front companies TV-Media and Premier-Inter-Asia, of the largest media holding in Kazakhstan, Informika LLP, estimated at $18 million. “Informika” includes: commercial television channel (KTK), radio “Karavan”, weekly newspaper “Karavan”, printing house “Franklin”. The Kazhegeldin newspaper “21st Century” also accused Aliyev of owning the newspaper “New Generation”. In addition, Nazarbayev's relatives have their own stakes in other newspapers. The concentration of the media in the hands of Nazarbayev's relatives makes it possible to control a large part of the population. Daily brainwashing and deceptive propaganda of Nazarbayev’s media, drumming in myths about the “democratic” and “great mind” of Nazarbay, allow us to continue to carry out seizures and repressions with impunity.
There are simply no other media in Kazakhstan. The KNB destroyed them during the fight against Russian newspapers back in 1993-1998.
Nazarbayev’s youngest daughter, Aliya (b. 1980), was given in 1997 by Nazarbay in marriage to the son of the President of Kyrgyzstan A. I Akayev. This is how the two khans of the “independent” Kyrgyzstan “states” became related. The Kazakh media spent several weeks promoting their wedding feast as an event of national importance.
No less “poor” was Nazarbayev’s other son-in-law, Timur Kulibayev, married to his middle daughter, Dinara (b. 1967). He is the president of OJSC KaztransOil and, in general, almost the richest buy in “independent” Kazakhstan. (But, of course, only after the father-in-law - Nazar-bai).
Today it is already completely clear why the communist Nazarbayev sought so much “independence” of Kazakhstan. The goal was to take over the fuel and energy complex of the Kazakh SSR (And this complex was created in 1960-80, again at the expense of the resources and budget of the RSFSR). Now profits from the export of Caspian oil are distributed among the Khan’s relatives.
In September 1998, the government of Kazakhstan sold another 1/7 of the state shares of the Consortium for the development of the Caspian shelf to oil companies of the United States (Philips Petroleum) and Japan for $500 million. Nazarbayev then said that “the $500 million received gives Kazakhstanis a taste of petrodollars. It is planned to use this money to pay delayed salaries and pensions and build oil hospitals and oil schools.”

Dinara Kulibayeva is the middle daughter of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, a shareholder of the People's Bank of Kazakhstan, the richest woman in the country.
Dinara Nursultanovna Nazarbayeva was born on August 19, 1967 in the city of Temirtau (Kazakh SSR).
Dinara entered the Moscow State Institute of Theater Arts named after Lunacharsky, from which she received a diploma in 1989. But she did not stop at one educational institution: the president’s daughter decided to continue her studies at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting, which she graduated in 1998 with a master’s degree. In 2007 she was awarded a doctorate.
Since 1998 (according to other versions - since 2009), Kulibayeva has been managing the Education Foundation named after the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2001, Dinara joined the presidium of the KazUMOiMYA society, and 3 years later she became the head of the board of directors of the KBTU company.
According to the Kazakh president, his daughter is not associated with political activities. In general, very little is known about Kulibayeva’s activities, namely, that she is the owner of a large share of the shares of the People’s Bank of the country. In addition, according to information from some sources, it is Dinara who manages the shares of her husband Timur Kulibayev, who also owns a significant share of the bank’s share capital.
Dinara Kulibaeva rarely appears in public. In addition, she often refuses to give interviews to any media and photographers are not allowed to take photographs with her. Kulibayeva is not interested in political activities; she uses her time for charity. Dinara heads the Nursultan Nazarbayev Education Foundation.
There have been reports in the media that Dinara Kulibaeva is also the head of the Miras experimental educational institution and takes a responsible approach to fulfilling her duties. The Miras school is considered prestigious because children are taught in several languages (in addition to their native Kazakh, the teachers speak Russian and English). Based on the cost of education, this educational institution is classified as an elite school.
The Education Foundation named after the President of Kazakhstan provides financial support to talented students and also promotes moral development. The foundation's goals are also the cultural and patriotic development of young people.
In 2008, information leaked to the media that the Russian organization Troika Dialogue, headed by the Kulibayevs, acquired the Almex Asset Management company.
In 2010, journalists wrote about the acquisition of a plot of land with a villa located on it for more than $70 million. The owner of the property was named Dinara Kulibaeva.
In 2007, Dinara was in the top five richest people in the country. Together with her husband Timur Kulibayev, she owns a fortune totaling about two billion dollars (according to the popular magazine Forbes). Moreover, the KazEnergy company and the Halyk financial group are under the control of the Kulibayev family.
In 2011, Dinara was named the richest woman in Kazakhstan. Her personal capital consists of approximately one billion dollars, which places her in 4th place in the republic in terms of financial wealth.
In the same year, Dinara Kulibayeva was recognized as one of the 50 most influential Kazakh businessmen, she was in 16th place in the ranking. In 2012, information was published that the total capital of the Kulibayevs was about 4-5 billion francs.
The daughter of the President of Kazakhstan is married to businessman Timur Kulibayev. The couple raised a son, Altai, and two daughters, Denise and Alicia.
All girls dream of the fate of a princess. But the rich, beautiful and interesting life in the palace has another side. This is a great responsibility for words, actions, gestures, because all events in the lives of famous people are under the constant close attention of others.
Aliya Nazarbayeva is the youngest of three daughters of one of the most famous political figures of our days. This is the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Childhood
Aliya was born on February 3, 1980 in Almaty. The parents dreamed that their youngest daughter would devote herself to creativity and become a pianist. For several years, the girl attended a music school where she studied piano. After graduation, Aliya had to either build a musical career or follow another, independently chosen path in life. She chose the latter.
She was 11 years old when her father took over as president of Kazakhstan. As a child, she really wanted to be no different from her peers. It even happened that Aliya asked the driver who took her to school every day to stop around the corner so that, like other children, she could enter the school gate alone. Later she realized that her parents are one of the main people in her life, and her father’s status must be taken into account. But still, the girl was upset that her famous surname provoked the emergence of a huge number of fables. At first she tried to prove that this or that gossip was the fruit of someone’s wild imagination, but then a certain immunity developed, and Aliya stopped paying attention to it.
Aliya Nazarbayeva left her parents' home early.
Kazakhstan. Business empires of the powers that be
Moreover, it was mom and dad who initiated the departure. They decided that their daughter should receive further education abroad. So, a thirteen-year-old girl ended up in Germany. The school occupied the building of a former monastery near Cologne. Accustomed to parental care, Aliya was very homesick and wanted to return to her native Kazakhstan. Mother and father, seeing their daughter's melancholy, took her home. Aliya studied in Germany for only a few months.
Youth
At the age of 15, she again leaves to study abroad. Now to Switzerland. Aliya Nazarbayeva, who had grown up, no longer experienced the separation from her parents so hard, and she even liked living in Switzerland. It was there that she fell in love with alpine skiing, because in this snowy country, learning to ski is as compulsory a subject in school as physical education is in our country. Strict rules and serious punishments for violation of discipline strengthened the girl’s character, which helped her in the future to achieve great success in the cruel world of business.
The youngest of the Nazarbayev daughters received higher education first at the University of Richmond (England), having studied at the Faculty of International Law. Then she graduated from the Faculty of Art History at one of the higher educational institutions in Washington. Along with foreign diplomas, Aliya gained invaluable life experience during her stay in other countries. She studied the culture and mentality of foreigners, which helped her learn to understand people.
Career
After receiving her education, Aliya Nursultanovna Nazarbayeva tried herself in various fields of activity. She held the position of assistant director at the Europe Plus radio station, worked in the legal department of TuranAlemBank, and worked for some time in her father’s secretariat in Astana.
Video: Mambetism of Dariga Nazarbayeva / 1612
After some time, she realized that she wanted to do her own business. At the moment, Aliya is the owner of a fitness club and runs one of the well-known construction companies, Elitstroy. She is also involved in charity work and pays a lot of attention to solving environmental problems. In 2011, Aliya created a collection of luxury jewelry under the brand name Alsara, which was sent in a limited edition to some jewelry stores around the world. Photos of Aliya Nazarbayeva appear in many glossy magazines.
Relationships with sisters
As Aliya herself admits, sisters are an important part of her life. The elders Dariga and Dinara have always been support and support. They have quite a big age difference. When Aliya was born, the eldest Dariga was already studying at one of the institutes in Moscow. Dinara, who was 13 years old at the time of Aliya’s birth, took care of her younger sister.
Now, in adulthood, the sisters do not see each other as often as we would like. But, according to Aliya herself, if necessary, they will rush to each other’s aid at the first call.
Aliya Nazarbayeva: personal life
There were many problems in the family life of N. Nazarbayev’s youngest daughter. She entered into her first marriage quite early (at the age of 18). Her husband was Aidar Akaev (son of the then President of Kyrgyzstan Askar Akaev).
It is difficult to say whether this was an independent decision of the young people, or whether powerful parents simply introduced and arranged the marriage of their children in order to become related by families. Be that as it may, family life did not work out, and after some time the marriage broke up. There was a lot of speculation about the reasons for the separation in the press, but none of the members of both families gave official comments. The marriage was officially dissolved in August 2001.
Almost immediately Nazarbayeva Aliya Nursultanovna (see photo below) gets married again. Her second husband was Kazakh businessman and football player Daniyar Khasenov. In 2007, the couple had an eldest daughter, who was named Tiara, and in 2011, their youngest daughter, Alsara, was born. But something didn’t work out in the relationship with Daniyar either. Aliya got divorced for the second time.
Now the youngest of the Nazarbayev daughters is married to businessman and politician Dimash Dosanov. Aliya and Dimash met while visiting one of her friends. We communicated as friends for a long time. Gradually, friendship grew into something more. According to Aliya herself, her future husband attracted her with his sincerity and naturalness, kindness and openness. The main motto of this married couple is democracy, equality and openness.
On a grand scale...
Aliya Nazarbayeva, whose biography has never been overshadowed by material problems, certainly lives in grand style. One of the most noisy holidays in Kazakhstan in recent years was the celebration of her thirtieth birthday. Such stars of world show business as Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez were invited to the feast. There have been legends about this holiday for a long time. One has only to mention the gifts, and you immediately understand how wealthy the birthday girl and her guests are. Among the gifts they include a villa in one of the Turkish resorts, a yacht, expensive cars, and luxury jewelry. And the festive fireworks lasted more than half an hour.

Social work
Now Nazarbayeva Aliya Nursultanovna, whose biography is given above, pays a lot of attention to public work, in particular issues of education. A few years ago, she made a documentary called “Awakening,” which touches on the themes of the ideology of creation as one of the foundations of human society.
While working on the film, Alia began to think about implementing new projects. In particular, the idea of creating an eco-village. According to the plan, these should be original estates where families can live in environmental comfort (green spaces, clean air, agricultural land).

American sanctions also hit Kazakhstan, primarily the Nazarbayev family. In the last three days alone, Timur and Dinara Kulibayev lost 324 million dollars.🔥 If you liked the video, like it😊 Leave your comments, your opinion is important to us Subscribe to our channel, there will be a lot of interesting things.❗ Edition on Facebook In recent days, Russian oligarchs have lost 16 billion dollars due to American sanctions. On April 6, the US Treasury Department published a sanctions list of 17 people, including Russian billionaires close to the Kremlin, as well as part of Russia’s top political leadership. The sanctions were a response to interference in the US presidential election and Russian military actions in Ukraine and Syria. The Russian stock market collapsed, the wealthiest people in Russia lost huge fortunes. Oligarch Oleg Deripaska was short $2 billion, and LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov lost $1.4 billion at once. Viktor Vekselberg impoverished almost 1.3 billion.
Aliya Nazarbayeva: photo, biography, personal life and interesting facts
American sanctions, as expected, also hit the Kremlin’s main ally, or rather setter, the Nazarbayev regime. Following the Russians, the Americans significantly lightened the pockets of Kazakh billionaires, primarily from the family of Nazarbayev himself. So, according to Forbes magazine, on the first day after the sanctions imposed by the Trump administration, Timur Kulibayev became poorer by $75 million, Dinara Nazarbayeva-Kulibayeva also lost $75 million. Data on the site is updated in real time. On April 11, this figure was initially 122 million, and after a couple of hours it grew to 162 million dollars per person. That is, by this hour, billionaires Timur and Dinara Kulibayev have become impoverished by a total of $324 million. Let us recall that the leadership of Kazakhstan, led by Nazarbayev, officially recognized the annexation of Crimea and has always been a loyal ally of Putin’s Russia.

01. Congratulations!
On May 31, one of the most prestigious CIS golf tournaments ended in Moscow — Cup of the President of the Russian Federation, traditionally dedicated to International Children's Day.
First place, after recalculating the points taking into account the introduced handicap, was awarded to the Russian team, which finished the game with a result of (-9). It should be noted that the best professional golfer in Russia, Alexander Matrosov, played as part of the Russian team.
And the best player of the tournament from the teams representing the CIS was recognized as the golfer of the Kazakhstan national team Zhakyp Marabaev.
Currently, the Kazakh team is preparing to compete at the Cup of the President of Kazakhstan, which will take place in early July, and for the main international competition - the Asian Games, which will take place at the end of September, where the Kazakhstan team is competing for the first time.
02. Prelude to a dream
I won’t be mistaken if I say that the main cultural event of the week was the presentation of the release of Zhamili Serkebaeva’s new album J’ll come to your heart. The presentation was a great success. Everyone was satisfied. And those who came to enjoy the performance of a violinist and the orchestra of the mayor of Almaty, and those who came to taste a stuffed chicken leg, washed down with red wine. Paradisaic delight! More precisely, a somewhat permanent state - delicious food, accompanied by equally delicious sounds of the violin. It’s a pity that in such cases there are always about five times more gourmets than music lovers...
I don’t want to look like a grouchy retrograde, I’d rather say something about the sponsors. By the way, there were an amazing number of them. Learn, gentlemen, artists, from Serkebaeva. Thanks to her, you can simply discover the addresses of Kazakhstani philanthropy.
There were many guests. Almost all representatives of the large Serkebaev family. And of course her elder Ermek-aga. He has an enviable gift - a good mood, a sense of humor, goodwill towards everyone and everything under any circumstances. Ermek-aga admitted that now he looks more like a mullah than an opera singer. He goes to events of the musical “clan” of the Serkebaevs and does not have time to bless everyone for new creative projects. In front of everyone, he affectionately scolded brother Murat, the artistic director of the city akim’s orchestra, saying that he was too harsh, “the musicians are crying because of your discipline,” and at the same time he justified that without her, mother discipline, an excellent orchestra would not have been possible.
True, Serkebaev Sr. that evening could not hide his sadness. His youngest son is leaving for America for a long time. “I came to Zhamila to listen to music and drink vodka; I need to heal my soul somehow,” said Ermek-aga. “It’s good that I’m staying with my wife, who’s young and beloved at that, and my sons have moved away…”
The gorgeous looking Makpal Zhunusova literally ran in to see Zhamila for a few minutes. She congratulated me and left at the speed of light in a luxurious Mercedes to get ready for the journey (Makpal is on a tour around the republic).
I’m surprised how Bibigul Akhmetovna manages to do everything: look great, work, look after her grandchildren and go to parties. “SH” met Bibigul Tulegenova five times at various social events in May. Amazing energy! And there is always a constant Tulegenov smile on his face.
The opening of the presentation was Sana Serkebaeva, a young violinist.
And lastly, the presentation was really a great success if the last guests left in the morning. Even the old-timers of the Stars Club do not remember such sponsorship generosity.
03. A man was born
Dinara Argyn, aka Dinara Egeubaeva, a famous Kazakh TV presenter, practically national pride, who broke the heart of the Mother See, celebrated an extraordinary holiday in the last days of May. “SH” introduces only a small clarification: a family holiday in the circle of a sweet and nice baby named Adi.
Adi is her son, who is forty days old. “SH” turned out to be superstitious and did not dare take a photo of our little hero, reasoning that forty days was not the best age for posing in front of a camera lens.
Although we can tell the whole country that Dinara has a strong baby. Adi was born large: 3900 weight, 54 centimeters height. Forty days were celebrated as expected in a Muslim family, with forty spoons of water and forty wish coins. In the future, Adi will have to undergo many rituals only because the boy’s mother is Muslim and his father is Catholic.
The name of the child's father is still unknown - we did not intrude into the personal life of the star. We just want to wish mom and little Adi health and happiness!
04. And again release!
KIMEP. The most prestigious university in the country. Kazakhstan's brand of quality education.
So, once again the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai witnessed the solemn ceremony of presenting diplomas to masters of the ninth graduating class. It was assumed that the president himself would take part in the celebration. Did not work out. The country was preparing for the summit...
At the KIMEP celebration, “SH” met US Ambassador Larry Napper. And Uraza Zhandosova in the mantle of a scientific husband, looking like a fairy-tale astrologer...
05. New sensations
The country's newspaper and magazine world has been replenished with a new luxurious publication under the promising name “Avtopark”.
The publication is very interesting and unusual. The approach is unusual - a synthesis of a magazine and a newspaper. From the magazine - number of pages and cover. From the newspaper - format.
The founder is also unusual. Ardak Amirkulov is one of the famous Kazakh film directors.
At the press conference about the publication, Ardak behaved respectably, presentably, well, as befits the founders. In general, he did not reveal any secrets. But at the presentation at “Admiral Nelson” he started talking. The atmosphere was inviting. And the company of a charming young woman. When “SH” asked who Amirkulov’s companion was, Ardak turned the conversation to a topic that had recently been taboo: where did he get the money for a publication of this kind. From everything that Amirkulov said, we understood that the director has been in business for a long time and he is a very successful entrepreneur.
“I’ll save up money to make an amazing Kazakh movie. You'll rock!” Ardak is disingenuous. Very soon he will go to distant America to present his new film...
Rumor has it that one of the founders of “Avtopark” is Mr. Kakakhel, chairman of the board of the National Pakistan Bank. By the way, Mr. Kakakhel was at the nightclub. He spoke little. He simply congratulated him, citing that he had not prepared a special speech. He was pleased that a publication had finally appeared that provided comprehensive information about the restaurants of the southern capital.
And the editor-in-chief of Avtopark, Alexander Flegetov, “was lost for words,” he himself admitted.
Dariga Nazarbayeva's daughter got married
He urged the guests to help themselves, not be shy, and feel at home. Valery Tovshtein... another one of the founders of the magazine assured everyone that the new publication will be a meeting place for old friends...
06. Advice from “SH”: be a capricious client!
Is it worth explaining the nature of the earthly desire to swim (for free!) in the Dolphin aquatic center in the unexpected heat, listen to a concert of Kazakh pop stars and dance. “SH” decided to immediately take advantage of the invitation from “Forpost”.
Free cheese only comes in a mousetrap. I think that the presentation from “Forpost” mercilessly “tarnished” the reputation of the famous aquatic center “Dolphin” in the city. I'll explain why.
The event program was completely ill-conceived. And the number of people wishing to get there far exceeded the capabilities of the aquatic center. There was no clear system of admission to this event and there was no elementary, even if it sounds harsh, “screening” in the form of invitations.
Everyone who was not too lazy to come and relax at the aquatic center on a Friday evening was pouring in. It turned out to be a real farce.
The scenario was reminiscent of a “tick” Komsomol meeting of Soviet times. And even the performances of Kazakh pop stars did not save the situation, although the concert was frankly good. The audience reacted sluggishly to the tricks of presenter Gulbahor, who tried her best to lift the mood of those present.
It was forbidden to approach the VIP box. The journalists languished from idleness and stubbornly waited for the ordered kebab. However, it was served an hour and a half after the order was accepted (“SH” counted four waiters. And this is for 300 guests! In such a situation, it is difficult to count on decent service).
The most desperate ones swam in the cold water of the outdoor pool. Mostly tipsy guests...
One of the most famous entrepreneurs in the country. Its fortune is measured in billions of dollars, and its investments are controlled by dozens of foreign banks and financial firms. However, what do we know about Dinara Kulibayeva herself? What was her path to the heights of fame? Who is her husband? And how many scandals are there around this woman’s name?
Dinara Kulibaeva: biography
The future Kazakh entrepreneur was born on August 19, 1967 in Temirtau, in the Karaganda region. Dinara Kulibayeva is the middle daughter of Sarah and Nursultan Nazarbayev. Currently, her father is the current president of Kazakhstan. Dinara received her higher education in the capital of Russia. So, in 1989 she defended her bachelor's degree at the Moscow Institute of Theater Arts. Lunacharsky. Nine years later, she received another higher education, but this time at the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting (KIMEP).
Since 1998, the woman has been the director of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation. In 2001, he became a member of the board of directors of KazUMOiMYA. And in 2004 he became the head of the management board of Kazakh-British Technical University JSC. In 2007, Dinara Kulibaeva received her Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences degree. Her dissertation was written on the topic of managing the educational system in international schools. And at the beginning of 2009, Dinara Kulibayeva heads the National Education Foundation, which acts on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan.
Kulibayev family
Dinara’s personal life was quite successful. Her husband is Timur Kulibayev, a famous Kazakh businessman who manages oil and energy flows in the country. Together they are raising three children: a son, Altai, and two daughters, Denise and Alicia.
It should be noted that Timur Kulibayev and Dinara Kulibayeva are among the richest people in Kazakhstan. According to the latest Forbes data for 2015, each of them is worth slightly above the $2 billion limit. That is, their joint assets are estimated at 4.2 billion US dollars. The couple currently live in Switzerland. However, due to official duties, they often fly to their homeland.
Business
Despite all attempts by Nursultan Nazarbayev to protect his daughter from the press, information about her assets and investments leaks out every now and then. For example, Dinara Kulibaeva is the owner of a large block of shares in Halyk Bank. It should be noted: this structure ensures the stability of financial flows throughout the country, which brings considerable profits to its owners. The president’s daughter also runs an experimental educational project called Miras. This is a prestigious school that provides its students with the best knowledge in the country. For example, here you can learn as many as three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.
In addition, the Kulibayev family has many investments that are scattered around the world. Not to mention the fact that her husband Timur has a number of his own assets that bring enormous profits to their family.
Charity and social activities
By the way, Dinara Kulibaeva does not particularly like to appear in public, especially if journalists are present there. She also rarely gives interviews and never allows her interlocutors to cross the line separating her work and personal life. And yet Dinara devotes a lot of time to charity. Through her actions, she strives to improve the culture of her country, to do everything possible to foster a spiritually enlightened society in it. To achieve this, Kulibayeva promotes moral and ethical values, and also participates in youth development programs in Kazakhstan. As mentioned earlier, the president’s daughter runs the country’s educational foundation. Consequently, it is she who is responsible for ensuring that they receive the opportunity to study in the best institutions in Kazakhstan.
Scandals and rumors surrounding the Kulibayevs
The first loud scandal occurred in January 2010. Then Dinara Kulibayeva bought herself a villa in Geneva worth 75 million francs. The public could not understand how the daughter of the President of Kazakhstan could afford such an expensive purchase. Nine months later, her husband Timur Kulibayev was accused of At that time, the court assumed that the businessman had passed about $600 million, earned through dishonest means, through Swiss accounts. The charges against him were subsequently dropped.
And then in November 2013, a new wave of protests arose. And the reason for this is the ranking of the richest people on the planet, where Dinara Kulibayeva miraculously ended up. For many, the question was unclear: how was a doctor of pedagogical sciences able to amass a fortune of 1.5 billion dollars? Naturally, the public received a number of comments explaining how Dinara earned her capital. But did these answers manage to regain people’s trust?
