11/18/2016 15:52 (Moscow time)Ufa is always good
“Thank you very much to the organizers! I would also like to thank the volunteers: these are very important people, without them we simply would not have found our way around. I hope that the forum will become an annual event - Ufa is always good. At the round table “Education and Charity” we reviewed the best practices , which initially appeared as private, but are now supported by the state. The key point that we came to during the discussion is the possibility of the existence of an educational program of a charitable foundation separately from the state. In addition, we touched upon the issue of the activities of volunteers within the framework of the educational program,” noted Svetlana Igorevna Primakova, Director of Communications of the Teacher for Russia Foundation, at the plenary session of the International Forum “Women’s Dialogue. Charity Without Borders.”
11/18/2016 15:50 (Moscow time)A common cause unites
“Nothing unites like a common cause. We are very glad that the First Eurasian Women’s Forum and the forum in Ufa contribute to the development of international contacts and strengthening friendship between women leaders of different countries,” noted Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Galina Karelova. The plenary session of the International Forum "Women's Dialogue. Charity Without Borders" in Ufa is gradually drawing to a close. 11/18/2016 15:44 (Moscow time)Doing good is the norm
“Today, charity in Russia is an act of one-time help. We strive to create a world in which doing good is the norm,” said Salima Manuilova, director of the Our Children Charitable Foundation, an expert in the strategic network “Charity as a Systemic Mechanism.”
According to the moderator of one of the forum’s round tables, in Russia there is no single goal among charitable organizations, as a result of which the work of foundations is fragmented. Salima Salavatovna suggested taking mercy as the basis for our activities, “creating the world around us.” The system must be closed so that every member of society gives the benefit and gives thanks for it. A society where everyone feels like a creator is a society of the future.
11/18/2016 15:41 (Moscow time)Need a registry? It is on our portal!
“We see that the importance and necessity of socially oriented NPOs has been appreciated and realized, and today we need to move on to constructive work,” noted Olga Kabanova, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Bashkortostan. At the round table “Models of partnership between the state and SO NPOs: Grants, provision of social and publicly beneficial services, charity,” its participants came to the conclusion that regional organizations do not yet have enough strength to implement systemic long-term projects. “And there is a big task to prepare NPOs for inclusion in the register of non-profit organizations performing socially useful services,” concluded Olga Kabanova. To this proposal, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Galina Karelova reminded us of our portal, where this register has already been created and is being updated.
11/18/2016 15:29 (Moscow time)In 2012, Russia was in 8th place in volunteer work
“We need to not accidentally go too far, so that we don’t pass a law that no one will comply with,” Elena Alshanskaya, president of the Volunteers to Help Orphans Charitable Foundation, expressed her opinion on the adoption of the forum’s resolution.
The forum discussed the possibility of providing additional benefits to volunteers when entering universities. But experts express concerns that this initiative might violate the fairness of the selection of applicants.
Charity is the basis of the country’s civil society, says Elena Leonidovna, and Russia is taking big steps in this direction. According to international studies for 2012, out of 146 countries in terms of the number of people who participated in volunteer assistance, Russia is in 8th place. But don't stop there. The country needs government centers for supporting local philanthropy that will motivate people to do charity. Every person should understand that this is prestigious! This is something for which you will be respected. At the initial stage, it is possible to introduce lessons in volunteer work in schools and universities.

11/17/2016 16:00 (Moscow time)Children's smiles returned
50 children with congenital maxillofacial defects were operated on in 5 days in Ufa by Russian and foreign doctors. The “Operation Smile” campaign takes place as part of the “Women’s Dialogue” forum. Charity Without Borders”, which opened today in the capital of Bashkiria. As Rustem Akhmetshin, the chief physician of the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, told our agency, the youngest patient is 6 months old, and the oldest is 19 years old.
Specialists from Russia, the USA, Vietnam and Estonia took part in the event. Fortunately, in these matters no sanctions are a hindrance. Such actions not only help children get rid of birth defects and, accordingly, psychological complexes, but also contribute to the development of science. Working in an international team improves the qualifications of doctors, allowing them to exchange experience. By the way, in Bashkiria there have long been no long-term queues for such operations; they are “put on stream.” But as part of the campaign, the most difficult cases for doctors were selected, and the doctors handled them with honor. The children's smiles were returned, literally and figuratively.
Today the children were visited by forum participants - Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Galina Karelova, 1st Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova, Chairman of the Board of the Markhamat Charitable Educational Foundation, which is one of the organizers of the forum, Gulshat Khamitova. Sponsors gave the hospital 1 million rubles for the development of medical projects.

At one time, her parents inspired her to do this noble, but difficult work, when they gave her the profession of a doctor - the most humane of all specialties. “When you give something to people, you get back much more,” says Gulshat Khamitova. Let's hope that after the forum, one of the organizers of which is "Markhamat", goodness will grow like a snowball.

High ideals
“Charity is a noble activity, it is devotion to high ideals,” says Li Xiaoxing, head of the European Department of the International Department of the All-China Women's Federation.Life in the era of globalization, Li Xiaoxing believes, is multifaceted: on the one hand, new opportunities open up every day, on the other hand, this state of affairs creates many new problems. And one of them is inequality in the rights of men and women. For 60 years in China, the department has been actively promoting the development of the women's movement.
By attracting funds from public funds and businesses, China has the opportunity to insure women against domestic violence, provide them with start-up capital for the development of entrepreneurship, and conduct free medical examinations to prevent the development of cancer cells.
2016 is the first year of a 15-year program that aims to combat women's poverty, protect maternal and child health, provide women with quality education and achieve gender equality. “We have taken on great responsibility and are carrying out an important mission. Building a world with equal opportunities for every country, for every person is our common desire. Chinese women are ready to work hand in hand with women around the world to create a better one,” said Li Xiaoxing.

78% of US residents are involved in charity
“Charity is the work of all people who want to change society for the better,” says Sarah Harder, President of the National Peace Foundation, professor emeritus at the University of Wisconsin, at the plenary session of the International Forum “Dialogue of Women. Charity Without Borders.”78% of US residents, according to Sarah Harder, are involved in the charity movement. It began in 1881, when American women actively began to receive education. American women mastered the tools that helped them change the world for the better. And then they recruited more and more members, making philanthropy commonplace.
Nowadays, large charitable organizations need to use modern technologies and train children and young people to use them. This is the only way the further development of the charitable movement will take place. “We have already achieved great success in this area among Russian and American universities. The opportunity to improve society is everywhere and for everyone,” concluded Sarah Harder.

Valentina Ivanovna noticed this and gave the girl such a huge plush hare that the flight attendants on the plane joked: she needed a separate ticket. But the hare flew by like a hare, and since then the toy has become a symbol of kindness, mercy and femininity in Rima’s family.
The athlete also spoke very emotionally about how she started doing charity work. One girl once asked Rima for her old spikes. These running shoes became “golden” for the girl, who herself became a renowned champion.
