Alferova biography personal life. Irina Alferova: photo, biography, personal life, films and interesting facts
Irina Alferova was one of the most beautiful actresses in the Soviet Union. And even now, having crossed the threshold of her sixtieth birthday, she looks great. Wrinkles do not spoil her face, only emphasizing the experience of the past years and female wisdom. She never had plastic surgery, being confident that she needed to age with dignity.
Her family
Actress Irina Alferova, whose biography has been of interest to fans of her talent for many years, saw this world in March 1951 in Novosibirsk. Her family had nothing to do with cinema and theater. Mom and Dad - Ksenia Arkhipovna and Ivan Kuzmich - were participants in the Great Patriotic War, going through it from beginning to end. Having managed to survive this terrible time, after the Victory they received a legal education and worked as lawyers. But Ira’s mother had an amazing artistic talent, which she later passed on to her beloved daughter.
Little Irina could not imagine her life outside the stage. She constantly participated in yard productions of various fairy tales. Of course, all the main roles - princesses, good witches, fairies and other beauties - were hers alone.
She plunged into the magical world of art in the Novosibirsk academic town, where various festivals were often held, where the most famous and talented people from all over the country were invited. And Irochka played there in an amateur theater. It was here that she took her first careful steps in the acting field.
While in high school, young Irina Alferova (the photo of this beautiful actress was on the pages of many glossy publications of the Soviet Union) realized that she was very attractive to people of the opposite sex. Moreover, not only she, but also her envious friends noticed this. It was because of them that the girl withdrew into herself and even at school parties tried to stand on the sidelines, watching everything happening from the sidelines. She was sure that soon the one and only person she loved would appear in her destiny.
Hello, GITIS!
After receiving a school certificate, Irina Alferova’s life changes dramatically. She leaves her hometown for the capital to submit documents to GITIS. It is not difficult for a girl to pass the competitive selection. So she became a student at a theater university, which she had long dreamed of.
The first time in a foreign city was not very sweet for her. She was almost expelled after her first year. And all because at that time Irina did not yet know how to perform all the proposed roles. But this happened not because she lacked talent, but because she did not know how to play something that she herself did not feel - love, for example.
Over time, everything changes, and Alferova graduated from the theater institute as one of the most promising graduates. She immediately received offers of cooperation from several leading Moscow theaters.
Dasha Bulavina
The year 1972 for the aspiring actress was marked not only by receiving a diploma, but also by being approved for the role of Dasha Bulavina in the famous television series “Walking Through Torment,” based on the epic by Alexei Tolstoy. It really was luck. But the director of the project forbade her to play in the theater at the same time. Alferova Irina thought for quite a long time, but then agreed. She understood that she had to give herself completely to this role.
Work on a film in thirteen episodes about the revolution and the Civil War was long and difficult - both physically and emotionally. For five whole years Irina lived only as her heroine. But all her efforts were fully rewarded. Firstly, even today critics call Dasha’s image the most successful in Alferova’s entire career. Secondly, the young actress was lucky enough to play on the same set with Yuri Solomin, Mikhail Kozakov, Svetlana Penkina.
"Constance! Constance! Constance!"
Another lucky movie ticket for the actress was the musical series “D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers.” Irina Alferova, whose films became an invaluable contribution to the Soviet film industry, played the role of Constance Bonacieux, the wife of a haberdasher.
At first, this heroine was intended for Evgenia Simonova, because only director Georgy Yungvald-Khilkevich saw her in this role. He believed that Irina did not have that “French lightness”; she was a woman of too Slavic type for the picture. But it was she who was strongly recommended by Goskino. And Boyarsky refused to play with another partner. True, Irina was voiced by another, no less talented actress, namely Anastasia Vertinskaya.
And yet, it was thanks to Irina that her heroine, Constance, turned out to be so sophisticated, soft, and graceful. Of course, this actress made a big contribution to the fact that the film about the musketeers became one of the most beloved by audiences not only in the Soviet Union, but also in the post-Soviet space.
Despite all the difficulties in approving Alferova, it was this role that became truly “stellar” in her career.
Lenkom
Three years before the start of this filming, Alferova Irina was invited to work at the Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theater - Lenkom. She was shocked by the first play she saw - “The Star and Death of Joaquin Murrieta,” in which Alexander Abdulov played. Her new job was truly fateful: she married one of the most handsome men in Soviet cinema, Alexander Abdulov.
But with work it turned out a little differently: in the performances she was mainly in secondary roles. And yet, Alferova still appears on the stage of this theater to this day.
Since 1993, the actress has been working in another theater - the School of Modern Play, in which she is the leading actress. Here she can play to her full potential and in many productions.
Her film works
With her husband, she starred in two melodramas - “Do not part with your loved ones” and “Premonition of Love”. It was in these films that she managed to reveal herself as a real lyrical heroine, proving to both viewers and critics that her element is such deep, melodramatic roles.
A little later, in 1982, she had a role in the fairy tale about Vasily Buslaev, and two more years later she was approved as a detective “TASS is authorized to declare.” One of Alferova’s best roles in the nineties was Anna Nikolaevna Silina in the two-part film “Night Fun,” in which she played with Evgeny Evstigneev, Albert Filozov, Valentin Gaft and Alexandra Kolkunova. It was the story of an accidental collision of five different destinies, five characters. It was a film about lies that people are afraid to look at.
Personal life
Indeed, a magnificent actress Irina Alferova. Her personal life interests her fans no less than her roles.
The first time she married the Bulgarian diplomat Boyko Gyurov. They met when Ira was a freshman. They got married and left for Bulgaria. It was there, in 1974, that their daughter, Ksenia, was born, named after Irina’s mother.
Throughout this marriage, the actress had to live in two countries. And after the filming of “Walking Through Torment” was completed, she decided to stay in Moscow. The couple divorced.
Her second marriage was truly stellar. Of course, her second husband was Alexander Abdulov himself, whom almost all women in the Soviet Union dreamed of. They got married in 1974. This was perhaps the most beautiful and charismatic couple in Soviet cinema, who even managed to star in the same films. They lived happily ever after, Alexander became attached to Ksenia and considered her his own daughter. But after seventeen years of marriage, in 1993, they - completely unexpectedly for everyone - divorced.
Her third husband. And last
The actress got married again in 1995. Irina Alferova’s third husband is actor Sergei Martynov. Their romance began during the filming of the film "Sheriff's Star", and the conclusion of an official marriage was its logical continuation.
After Sergei’s first wife passed away, Irina Alferova adopted his two children - Nastya and Seryozha, as well as her nephew - the son of his deceased sister - Sasha. So she became a mother of many children. And the new children found a loving and caring person in her.
Now Irina is happily married and is sure that next to her is the man who was destined for her from above.
She did not forget about her creative plans, continuing to act in films and appearing on the theater stage.
Irina Alferova is a famous actress of Russian theater and cinema. Currently, she plays the role of a caring mother and grandmother. Viewers may remember her from the iconic role of Constance Bonacieux, which she played in the adventures of D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers. Irina Alferova has gone through many difficult times. And remembering them now, the woman herself can’t help but wonder how she managed to overcome them without losing her status as one of the most famous actresses of Soviet cinema.
Despite the fact that many years have passed since the peak of her popularity, she still continues to act in films. Mainly in TV series.
Height, weight, age. How old is Irina Alferova
Despite the years, Alferova is still remembered and loved by viewers. She still has many fans who are still interested in every little thing about their favorite. For example, the most popular queries on the Internet include her height, weight, and age. How old Irina Alferova is is no secret to anyone.
The woman was born in 1951, which means that she is already 66 years old. Of course, the years have taken their toll on the face of this outstanding actress, however, looking at photos of Irina Alferova in her youth and now, you can still see in her the sophisticated beauty she once was. Currently, the actress's height is 165 centimeters and her weight is 65 kilograms. And even if there is a little extra, it doesn’t spoil her appearance at all.
Biography of Irina Alferova
The future talented actress and simply beautiful woman came into this world on March 13, 1951 in the city of Novosibirsk. As often happens, her parents had nothing to do with acting. Her father, Ivan Alferov, and mother, Ksenia Alferova, both received a legal education and were professional lawyers. They hoped that their daughter would also follow in their footsteps. However, Irina was attracted by the stage from a young age. Irina also had a sister, Tatyana, however, nothing is known about her.
Irina Alferova’s biography is full of “gifts of fate,” both pleasant and not so pleasant. Even from school, the girl began to dream about the theater, therefore, immediately after graduation, she went to the capital to enter a theater university. It was hard to study, but only at first. Over time, she was able to catch up and even become a completely successful student. And the difficulties at the beginning of the student’s career were justified by the fact that teachers began to demand excellent results from the very beginning, giving practically no room for error.
In 1976, Irina began performing in the troupe of the Lenkom Theater. Alferova became very famous for her famous role as Queen Anne’s maid of honor, Constance Bonacieux, in the musical film “D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers.” By the way, there is one fact about this role - the role of Constance was voiced by Anastasia Vertinskaya. This happened because the director considered Irina’s own voice not gentle and soft enough.
In the nineties, the actress almost did not appear on screens. During all this time, she starred in only one single film - “Ermak”. Around the same period, Irina also starred in a music video for Alexander Serov’s song “You Love Me.”
Personal life of Irina Alferova
Despite all the beauty and popularity of this woman, it cannot be said that Irina Alferova’s personal life was stormy. However, Irina married three times.
Her first choice was a diplomat from Bulgaria named Boyko Gyurov. Alferova did not refuse to leave her native Russia, so they moved to her husband’s homeland. There Irina gave birth to her first child, a daughter. But soon the actress returned home. She could not imagine her life without a theater stage and film set.
Having started working at the Lenkom Theater, Alferova met her second husband, a handsome man and a favorite of women, Alexander Abdulov. As the artists themselves said, feelings flared up at first sight. Their couple was called the most beautiful. But the marriage fell apart due to the fact that Abdulov continually found himself in the center of love scandals. Alexander said that he loved only his wife, although he did not deny some infidelities. They were a family until '93.
Soon after the divorce from Abdulov, the press began to trumpet with might and main that Irina Alferova and Sergei Martynov got married. All the latest news about this couple can now be easily found on the Internet. Their romance began on the set of Sheriff's Star. It is noteworthy that Irina was still married then.
Family of Irina Alferova
Currently, Irina Alferova’s family is her third husband and children, some of whom are not blood, but the actress still considers them family. As for Sergei Martynov, Irina calls her marriage with him the most successful. According to her, with this man she really feels like a woman.
Irina agreed without hesitation to take Sergei’s son and daughter, who were studying abroad, to Moscow. And when her sister died, she took her nephew, Alexander, under her wing.
Children of Irina Alferova
Irina has only one natural child - daughter Ksenia. Now she is raising her own daughter herself. The children of Irina Alferova are her own daughter Ksyusha, and two children of her third husband - Seryozha and Nastya.
As Irina said in one of her interviews, she was afraid of the first meeting with her husband’s children, but, as it turned out, it was in vain - Sergei’s children received her well, and it was easy to find a common language with them. Also, let us recall that Irina took in her nephew, Sasha, to raise her, after a tragedy occurred in 1997 and her sister Tatyana died.
Irina Alferova’s adopted son – Sergei
As mentioned earlier, Irina Alferova’s adopted son, Sergei, is not the actress’s own, but this does not prevent her from considering him as such. After he married for the second time, Sergei Martynov took his children from London, where they were studying, back to Moscow.
Having settled with his father and his second wife Irina, Sergei, together with his sister, entered a regular Moscow school, where he received his secondary education. Currently, Sergei Martynov Jr. is already an adult and lives in London.
Daughter of Irina Alferova - Ksenia
Irina Alferova’s daughter, Ksenia, was born from the artist’s first husband. But it is noteworthy that her patronymic was given to her by Alexander Abdulov, who took custody of the girl after marrying her mother. I must say that studying was easy for her, but Ksenia had to grow up early, for the simple reason that both parents often disappeared on film sets.
Currently, Ksenia is a successful actress. Her debut took place in the film “The Woman in White,” which appeared on the big screens in 1982. Before her film debut, Ksenia played only minor roles in theatrical productions.
Irina Alferova’s adopted daughter – Anastasia
Let's start with the fact that Sergei Martynov's wife, like, by the way, Alferova's parents, was a lawyer. She moved to England for work and took her children with her. Sergei remained in Moscow, where he subsequently began an affair with Irina.
Sergei's wife died as a result of a medical error - an unsuccessful operation. Irina, in turn, easily decided to adopt her husband’s children from his first marriage and take them under her “wing.” Thus, Irina Alferova’s adopted daughter, Anastasia, appeared.
Irina Alferova's ex-husband - Boyko Gyurov
Irina Alferova’s ex-husband is Boyko Gyurov, as mentioned earlier, a diplomat from Bulgaria. After marriage, he took Irina with him to his country. There Irina gave birth to his daughter, Ksenia. Gyurov gave the girl his last name. In his opinion, Alferova had to look after the house and child, but the artist did not want to put up with the role of a housewife, so Irina demanded a divorce and, having received it, returned to her native Russia. Alferova herself admits that she has severed all ties with her ex-husband, but her daughter visits him in Bulgaria from time to time.
Irina Alferova's ex-husband - Alexander Abdulov
Irina Alferova’s ex-husband, Alexander Abdulov, attracted the attention of the actress even at the time when Irina first visited Lenkom. Then there was a rehearsal for the play with Abdulov’s participation. Alexander invited Alferova to marry him when they were on a business trip together in Yerevan. He took in Irina’s daughter, Ksenia. And it was him that the girl considered dad.
Unfortunately or fortunately, the marriage of Alferova and Abdulov fell apart, unable to withstand a large number of love scandals. And the actor himself has admitted to his own infidelities more than once.
Irina Alferova’s husband – Sergei Martynov
Irina Alferova’s husband, Sergei Martynov, became the actress’s last husband at the moment. Sergey is also an actor. And Alferova herself calls creating a family with him the most successful decision in her life.
When his wife left for England on a work contract, taking her children with her, Sergei met Alferova on the set, and very soon they began an affair. And soon after the death of his wife, the man married her and returned the children from England back to Russia. In the end, they never had children together.
The yellow press has repeatedly published articles saying that Alferova had undergone one or another plastic surgery. In fact, you will not be able to find a single real photo of Irina Alferova before and after plastic surgery.
The woman herself asserts with confidence that this kind of surgery only makes things worse, often even radically changing a person’s appearance. They deprive him of his innate individuality. Therefore, she does not support such decisions of her colleagues. And she herself doesn’t want to do any plastic surgery and won’t.

I didn’t know anyone in the theater yet, but literally from my first breath I felt some kind of internal tingling and mad love for the play and its atmosphere. And then I saw the main character on stage, his huge hand sliding over his partner, and seemed to dissolve in this image... There was everything in the energy emanating from this hand: passion, reliability, and something like that, what I needed in this life. She was married three times.
The first husband is the Bulgarian diplomat Boyko Gyurov. From this marriage, Irina gave birth to a daughter on May 24, 1974 (later adopted by actor Alexander Abdulov, with the patronymic name Alexandrovna).
In the 70s, Gyurov studied in the USSR - at MGIMO. And Irina was a student at GITIS. They met at a reception at the Bulgarian embassy. Soon she married him and moved to Bulgaria. Ksyusha was also born there. However, Irina did not stay long in Bulgaria: her husband wanted to see his young, beautiful wife as a housewife, and Irina wanted to go on stage. So she took her daughter and returned to the USSR.

Ksenia only learned in adolescence that Abdulov was not her father. She met her biological father when she was already a famous TV presenter and actress during a trip to Bulgaria. This woman remains to this day one of the most successful and beautiful actresses of Russian cinema. It was she who dictated the fashion for stylish classics. Her heroines were imitated, adopting the manner of speaking and casually letting their hair fall over their shoulders. Artistry and aristocracy, beautiful appearance and graceful plasticity of Irina Alferova have been winning the hearts of viewers for many years.
Beauty's story
The future celebrity Irina Alferova was born into a family of front-line soldiers. Father Ivan Kuzmich and mother Ksenia Arkhipovna experienced all the hardships of the war, survived the famine years, bombings and the cruelty of the enemy. Returning home to Novosibirsk with victory, the former military men received and got jobs as lawyers.
In 1951, a significant event occurred in the family - a daughter was born, who was named Irina. From an early age, parents instilled in their child a love of art. At school, the girl was a diligent student and studied well, but the main place in her young life began to be occupied by playing in the amateur theater of the Novosibirsk Academic Town.
Already in her school years, Ira’s noticeable appearance brought her numerous courtships from boys and envious glances from her girlfriends. But this did not stop her from being very modest and well-mannered, as Irina Alferova remains today. The biography of the actress repeatedly proves that, despite her incredible beauty, she was never distinguished by arrogance and arrogance.
Leaving home
After graduating from secondary school, Irina leaves her home and goes to continue her education in alluring Moscow.
Enter the State Theater Institute named after A.V. Lunacharsky was not a huge task for her. Studying itself required much more effort. Alferova Irina was almost expelled for professional unsuitability in her first year at the institute. It was sometimes very difficult for a young student to perform on stage something that she had never experienced in life.
However, life soon corrected these errors. And if earlier it was problematic for Ira to play being in love, then, having truly fallen in love, the girl opened up.
First love
A brilliant handsome man, a cheerful and charming student at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, the son of the Bulgarian Ambassador, Boyko Gyurov became the chosen one of the future actress. He enjoyed great success with the girls, but his heart was won by the blue-eyed Irina Alferova. A good upbringing, beautiful courtship - and the young actress could not remain indifferent to the charming Bulgarian. The wedding of the newlyweds was magnificent, Irina had a dazzlingly beautiful and incredibly chic dress. The celebration took place in the embassy mansion, and at that time this was an unprecedented luxury. The young couple was constantly in the company of distinguished guests, who never ceased showering compliments on the beautiful bride.
After some time, the couple had a daughter. By mutual agreement, it was decided to name her Ksenia. However, the happiness of the lovers did not last long. Family life with constant domestic strife soon turned into a nightmare. Without thinking twice, Irina takes her daughter and leaves her husband.
Work at Lenkom
In 1976, a young actress Irina Alferova appeared at the Moscow State Theater named after Lenin Komsomol. The girl’s biography is now changing towards creativity, which she had to abandon for a while. This place of work will truly become home for Alferova for a long time, and not only because she played many roles on its stage.
The theater and its first performance, “The Star and Death of Joaquin Murrieta,” became fateful for the young actress. Here, during a rehearsal, she first saw Alexander Abdulov, her future husband. His energy, reliability, and impulse simply made Irina fall in love with the actor. From this moment on, their romance begins to develop rapidly. Irina Alferova and Abdulov became one of the most beloved acting couples for Soviet viewers.
The actress participated in the following Lenkom productions: “Sergeant, my shot is the first”, “Not on the lists”, “Pocket Theatre”, “Dear Pamella”, “House with a Bell”, “Revolutionary Study”, “Romulus the Great” and others.
First film role
Irina Alferova’s filmography dates back to 1972, when, after graduating from college, the aspiring actress was faced with the question of choosing a theater troupe. And at this moment Alferova is offered the role of Dasha in the television epic “Walking Through Torment.” However, she had to give up simultaneously working in the theater.
Work on the film took five years, but after its release the cast, including the performer of the role of Dasha, became famous throughout the vast country. Photos of Irina Alferova began to be scattered by fans with great speed. This role of the actress, according to critics and viewers, is one of the most noticeable and striking.
In a blaze of glory
Undoubtedly, Alferova received universal love after playing the role of Constance in the musical adventure film “D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers.” The image of a playful, selfless and dexterous young girl with an incredibly beautiful appearance and a clear voice captivated millions of television viewers. The actress became a kind of discovery, a combination of external and internal beauty and human harmony.
In the future, Irina Alferova’s filmography only expands. In 1979, she and her husband Alexander Abdulov worked on the set of the film “Don’t Part With Your Loved Ones,” and in 1982 they were the main characters in the film “Premonition of Love.” This is followed by roles in the tale “Vasily Buslaev”, the detective story “TASS is authorized to declare”, and the comedy melodrama “Night Fun”.
In the shadow of your spouse
Marriage to the brilliant Alexander Abdulov made Irina the happiest woman in the Universe. Neither the envy of ill-wishers, nor the whisperings of colleagues, nor the lack of their own home could separate two loving hearts.
At the same time, not everything was perfect with the actors’ work. If Alexander, as before, was offered mainly leading roles, then for Irina episodic roles prevailed. Even the emerging popularity of the actress in cinema did not help change the situation, and Alferova still remained in the shadow of her husband.
Not fully developed talent
“Uninvited Friend”, “Courage”, “Two Knew the Password”, “Bagration” and many other films. Irina Alferova in each of them plays heroines distinguished by their femininity, sincerity, elegance, intelligence and beauty. But, despite all her merits and talent, film critics have always been rather callous towards the actress’s work. Perhaps they thought that it remained not fully developed, or maybe it just didn’t quite work well with the directors.
Work in the 90s and today
Like many actors of that time, in the nineties Irina Alferova began to act in films less. “Night Fun”, “High Class”, “Blood for Blood”, “Sheriff’s Star” - this is almost the entire list of films in which she took part. Perhaps her only bright work was the role of Alena in the Russian-German film “Ermak” in 1996.
In the 2000s, Irina appeared more in films: she played the role of Olga Sapega in the film “Paradise Lost”, Sophia in the film “Sin”, as well as roles in the television series “Sonya the Golden Hand”, “Hero of Our Time” and “ Trap".
In 2011, the artist superbly played Yulia Snegireva in the film “Yolki-2,” which was beloved by the audience, and in 2012, in the film “Scammer,” she brilliantly played the role of Vera.
In 2013, actress Irina Alferova worked on the set together with a French actor while creating the film “Rasputin”.
Despite all the ups and downs in her creative activity, in 1992 she became an Honored Artist of Russia, and in 2007 she was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia.
Happy family life
Today Alferova actively participates in productions of the School of Modern Play theater, also works at Lenkom, and sometimes plays in enterprises at the Moscow Theater.
Everything got better too. with Alexander Abdulov, while working on the set of the film “Star Sheriff”, Alferova met actor Sergei Martynov. Persistently courting the beautiful actress, he soon won her hand in marriage. The actors' marriage contributed to the appearance of three children in their family. Due to the death of Martynov’s ex-wife, son Sergei and daughter Anastasia moved to live with their father. And after Alferova’s sister died, they also took their nephew Alexander into their house.
Irina always speaks with gratitude about all her husbands, because the first gave her daughter Ksenia, the second - beautiful and unbridled love, and the last - a stable life, a reliable and friendly family, which she so lacked before.
